I Was Told I Was Crazy

...but not for what I warned last Friday.

It may very well be true that in many other matters I'm nuts. I do not behave in ways others deem as rational; at least not for them.

Most often I hear that charge about my political views. "Isn't there anyone you trust? It must drive you crazy." I hear that often after one or another of my attacks on the GOP for keeping traitors in its midst.  "You are so quick to go there. [I'm not actually.] Why can't you be satisfied with chalking it up to stupidity and malfeasance?"

And this time I was insulted for a "far-fetched" warning about politics.

The good news part of the bad news is that it didn't take long for the latest charge to be proven baseless (as more often happens than not). It only took a couple of days.

In my last post about Chris Muir's cartoon stating that it was time to chuck the GOP and go third party, I declared it was too late.

Specifically I wrote: "The GOP needed to be replaced long before now. They helped install laws that will be used to essentially outlaw other parties...."

For that, one die-hard Republican told me I was nuts. It's not a conservative position.  It's a violation of the right to free association and will never happen. He didn't say, but I'm guessing he believed that it is not what Republicans would tolerate.

Well heh short-sighted scoffer: Senate Votes to Ban Third Parties from Ohio Elections

the Ohio State Senate has passed this bill which would essentially eliminate all third party candidates from ballots.

It is tough enough already due to people like my GOPe acquaintance. So spread the news. Make the existing parties even more uncomfortable. Let them know about how you view their attempts to block your efforts to build new blocs. Those are blocs that you will need to succeed in defying and overturning their efforts at enslaving your children ever more.

Too Late

"Dead Parrots"
I'm sorry Chris. The GOP needed to be replaced long before now. They helped install laws that will be used to essentially outlaw other parties under the guise that the people in them are a threat to the public. It's worse than conspiracy; it's consensus. There is only one way to break that up.

Contradistinctions

Whenever I see or even hear of this cold and uncaring postmodernist martinet:
Kathleen Sebelius, Sec. Health & Human Demise

it destroys the sweet memory and nostalgia associated with this:

The entire Obama administration is despicable. But as regular readers know, I hold the entire global elitist sustainability crowd responsible for the Bummer's elevation. They so hate individual liberty and the thriving that results, that I suspect that He will hold them accountable for Obama and the millions of subsequent deaths.

*In case the video gets removed, it was the Sibelius scored vignette in Allegro Non-Troppo.

Parsing the Leftists' Shifting of Blame

The following is a late comment inserted into the Breitbart List thread that was the subject of my last post.

You guys are living in a fiction here... How soon you forget that the House Republicans are the reason this is shut down, not Obama (my God you love to blame Obama for everything). You don't get to put the entire Gov't on hold and use it as ransom to get things done. That's extortion. There is a right way to do this: Try Winning an Election. Period.

The tone of this comment sounds too suspicious to me. It would not be the first time a web site used socks as trolls to increase comments. So my parsing of the comment includes jibes at Breitbart editors in a just in case manner.

Parsing this:

Suspect commenter
You write like a Breitbart.com tool; trolling for comments. Just about every phrase you used sounds tongue-in-cheek, designed to be taken apart bit by bit.

Fictions
Leftists build the fictions for liberals to inhabit. Your comment would be projection if you are really a lib or Leftist and not a breitbart tool.

You don't get to put the entire Gov't on hold
Correct, we don't. It's Obama. The Prez has the reigns to operate or not operate anything.

and use it as ransom to get things done.
Exactly what Obama has done. For any Fed areas that might hurt his opponents, he's shut them down For those areas that might hurt his base, he's kept them open. As examples of how he has chosen to shutdown selectively.
  1. Open especially, The National Mall: for an illegal alien rally (costing money).
  2. Increasingly barrycading the WW II memorial: .Shipping in and installing barrycades; patrolling; arrests. All costs money; all NEW costs.
  3. Brazenly, for himself he's kept open all golf courses he uses.

Extortion
Hence the extortion is his. With each passing day he takes on more attributes of a living fascist-style dictator -- penalizing his opponents and rewarding his friends. And that is added to all the crony-captialism that preceded it, another earmark of fascism.

House Republicans are the reason
House GOP are scapegoated by Obama and his media for every choice he makes to shut whatever he wants. The House does not tell the Prez what to shutter and cannot stop him. His refusal to negotiate on anything is the fact. He says so in his own words. Of course, the media won't highlight those instances, hence they are the rebirth of soviet-style media (SSM). Too bad Breitbart.com hasn't got the balls of its founder to call them that.

my God
Your god being obama, make that lower case.

you love to blame Obama for everything
I don't blame Obama for the GOPe's complicity with him -- in fact, he wouldn't be in office without their aid. The TEA party movement got started precisely because the GOPe is seen as off the reservation. Cannot blame the Bummer for that.

There is a right way to do this: Try Winning an Election. Period.
We did. We elected people to the House of Representatives who promised to reverse Obamacare if they could, or defund it if the Senate or Prez refused to budge. It is the Left that continues to deny that the House of Representatives is the one section of our government that, by constitutional design, controls our funding of the federal government. Executive orders spend beyond that is a crime. And do not try to tell us that Obamacare is "The Law." Your god keeps breaking that law depending on who he deems worthy of exemption, just like a fascist dictator.

Petty, Spiteful Prez: Unprecedented MSM Complicity

Stolen from Crusader Rabbit who stole it from Breitbart.

Please feel free to steal again.

The prologue at CR includes most of the closing paragraph by Breitbart's John Nolte:
Below is a list of illogical, unnecessary, and shockingly spiteful moves our government is making in the name of essential and non-essential. The media may or may not report on these individual occurrences, but what they will never do is provide the American people with the full context and scope of Obama’s shrill pettiness.

Nolte also wrote: This list will be regularly updated, and if you have something you feel should be added, please email me at jnolte@breitbart.com or tweet me @NolteNC.

**Updated by me with two more below**

  1. Treatments for Children Suffering From Cancer – The GOP have agreed to a compromise by funding part of the government, including the National Institutes of Health, which offers children with cancer last-chance experimental treatment. Obama has threatened to veto this funding.
  2. The World War II Memorial – The WWII memorial on the DC Mall is a 24/7 open-air memorial that is not regularly staffed. Although the White House must have known that WWII veterans in their eighties and nineties had already booked flights to visit this memorial, the White House still found the resources to spitefully barricade the attraction.
The Republican National Committee has offered to cover any costs required to keep the memorial open. The White House refused. Moreover, like the NIH, the GOP will pass a compromise bill that would fund America’s national parks. Obama has threatened to veto that bill.
  3. Furloughed Military Chaplains Not Allowed to Work for Free – Furloughed military chaplains willing to celebrate Mass and baptisms for free have been told they will be punished for doing so.
  4. Business Stops In Florida Keys – Although the GOP have agreed to compromise in the ongoing budget stalemate and fund the parks, Obama has threatened to veto that funding. As a result, small businesses, hunters, and commercial fisherman can’t practice their trade. While the feds have deemed the personnel necessary to keep this area open “non-essential,” the “enforcement officers” to ensure no business is done are “essential.”
  5. Obama Blacks Out Sports, Entertainment Programming to Overseas Troops – The American Forces Network (AFN) that provides American sports and entertainment programming to our troops stationed abroad, has been shut down. For some reason, though, AFN News will still broadcast news, just not any of the popular and fun stuff.
Camp David is essential, but popular programming for heroes overseas is non-essential.
  6. Obama Closes D-Day Memorial – The GOP have offered to compromise and fund the National Parks. Obama has said he will veto this compromise legislation. As a result, along with 24 other military cemeteries, the D-Day memorial in Normandy has been barricaded.
  7. Obama Tries to Close Privately-Funded Mt. Vernon – Although George Washington’s Mt. Vernon estate is privately funded, the feds blocked visitors from entering the parking area because the Park Service maintains the lot. Apparently, the New Media publicity resulted in the feds backing down.
  8. Obama Closes Over 100 Privately-Managed Parks That Cost No Money to Run –  The U.S. Treasury actually makes money from the rent paid by a private company that “employs about 400-500 camp workers and managers across about a dozen states.” No federal money is used to operate these parks. No federal employees are used to staff these parks. Taxpayers make a profit from these parks. Still, Obama had them closed and as a result 400-500 employees and a private business are taking it in the neck.
  9. Obama Closes Self-Sustaining Colonial Farm It Hasn’t Supported Since 1980 – “For the first time in 40 years, the National Park Service (NPS) has finally succeeded in closing the Farm down to the public. In previous budget dramas, the Farm has always been exempted since the NPS provides no staff or resources to operate the Farm.”
  10. Obama Tries to Close State-Run Parks in Wisconsin – “The park service ordered state officials to close the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine, Devil’s Lake, and Interstate state parks and the state-owned portion of the Horicon Marsh, but state authorities rebuffed the request because the lion’s share of the funding came from state, not federal coffers.”
  11. Obama Closes Vietnam Memorial – The GOP have passed compromise legislation that would fund national memorials and parks, and open them to the public. Obama threatened a veto. Apparently, the “essential” government employees are those erecting barricades, not those who could keep the memorial open.
  12. Obama Closes Privately-Owned Hotel, Police Block Parking Lot – “The operator of a 51-room inn located on U.S. government-owned land in North Carolina abandoned his defiant stance on Thursday to keep the property open despite being ordered to close as part of the federal government shutdown.”

October is this inn’s prime season. The GOP have offered compromise funding opening the parks. Obama said he will veto that compromise.

State troopers blocked customers from entering the inn’s parking lot.
  13. Park Service Ranger: ‘We’ve Been Told to Make Life As Difficult For People As We Can’ – “It’s a cheap way to deal with the situation,” an angry Park Service ranger in Washington says of the harassment. “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”
  14. [Two late additions courtesy Kevin Baker] The National Park Service evicted people from their homes and houseboats on Lake Mead.
  15. The National Park Service placed cones along highway viewing areas outside Mount Rushmore this week, barring visitors from pulling over and taking pictures of the famed monument.
All of those bulletins have proper links, so go to the source to verify each at your leisure.

Obama Slams Striking Workers

Obama/Reid Shutdown, Day 3

The President of these United States, member of the Democratic Party, argues that striking workers deserve to be fired. Think I made that up do you?

Will someone who knows how tell me how to save this youtube? Because I believe the White House, after someone there awakens from their drunken stupor, is gonna be putting pressure on Google to send this down the memory hole. Save this folks. It's a gem.

Compelled Sterilization

In the bad old days of the early "Progressives," the eugenics program most often associated with  Margaret Sanger came under attack for its racism. It sought to sterilize those minorities it considered sub-standard and less useful for their utopian vision.

Naturally, they met backlash from many sources. So they redirected their programs to achieve much the same thing by indirect means.

Mostly they sought "voluntary" compliance. The sneer quotes are meant to convey the fact that they continued to hide their racism by speaking kindly to their targets and demonizing those who tried to warn the targets of the subterfuge.

Today we have new and improved forms of subterfuge that have made a mockery of the meaning of voluntary. Someone who is not yet fully developed and aware is hardly making decisions that in any reasonable way could be called "informed volition."

I call this newest form "compelled sterilization." It comes in the disguise of "sex-change" operations.

The pro-homosexual lobby (all radical leftists who may or may not include actual gay people as if that matters to the Left) has gotten state legislatures to prevent parents from protecting their children from the radical "information" supplied to children.

There are any number of arguments contrary to that agenda that we all would hear on broadcast media if that media also wasn't Leftist.

I am simply not that creative a writer to come up with arguments that I think could be provided the public.

But I am capable of seeing that sex change operations are sterilization by other means.

I'd like to see arguments that justify the headline Compelled Sterilization.
It just seems to me that if the homosexual lobby succeeds in
  1. preventing the opposition to their "information" from providing contrary information to children.
  2. preventing parents from protecting their children from making a choice instigated by having been convinced by that one-sided set of arguments.
  3. that any sterilizations that result are the direct result of other concerned parties being forced into both silence and being legally compelled from interceding.
I've got good, sensible readers. What can you add to this?

The Way It COULD Work

Bottom line: We prepare to expose the lies of our enemies.

We know that the Soviet-Style Media (SSM) will demonize any response by the GOP controlled House of Representatives to the Democratic controlled Senate's version of the Continuing Resolution bill. The new GOP effort could work to build a true opposition to Statism and marginalize the SKUNCs instead of them marginalizing the constitutionally conscientious members of the GOP.

To help make that work it becomes up to the new and real independent 4th Estate like this blog to pass along the real substance to its readers. Our aim is to keep our spirits high. That is precisely in preparation for the SSM trying to demoralize us and make us give up in despair. They will do what they have always done: pass along "news" that runs from half truths, to outright lies, to provocations of mob violence. Our job is to neutralize it all as much as possible.

I'm told by many (who are far more religiously faithful than I) that despair is a sin. So I'm encouraging my readers help me do my part (and maybe theirs) to help keep our side from additional sinning.

First, let me familiarize you with the latest response by the House of Representatives to the Senate GOP not blocking Harry Reid's determination to keep in place the Obama/Reid/Pelosi  deleterious health act of 2010.

Drudge does a superior headlining job than either of the two sites to which he links.

  1. Politico: DELAY OBAMACARE OR WE WILL SHUT IT DOWN
  2. Speaker of the House: BOEHNER MAKES MOVE

Excerpts from SSM source 1.
This puts Senate Democrats and the White House at loggerheads with House Republicans, a standoff that could lead to the first government shutdown since 1995.

“We’ve had enough of the disunity in our party,” Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told the meeting of House Republicans Saturday afternoon. “The headlines are Republicans fighting Republicans. This will unite us. This protects the people who sent us here from Obamacare.”

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said it would be the “fastest whip check in history,” as every member raised their hand, saying they would support the bill.
Excerpts from the horse's mouth 2.
“The American people don’t want a government shut down and they don’t want ObamaCare. That’s why later today, the House will vote on two amendments to the Senate-passed continuing resolution that will keep the government open and stop as much of the president’s health care law as possible.

“The first amendment delays the president’s health care law by one year. And the second permanently repeals ObamaCare’s medical device tax that is sending jobs overseas.”
As you can already see in the way the Politico framed the news, it is long on what the SSM wants the public to hear and short on substantive reasons which just so happen to match the public's wishes. IOW, the SSM does not want the public to know how much the GOP wing of Congress is doing what the public sent them to Congress to do.

This has been my small effort to seek out substantive news. The more of us that do this, the more the efforts of our side stand a chance of working.

Sunny Outlook On Obamacare

I've yet to see this young lady miss a beat.

Update on Friday, October 4, 2013.

Because the previously embedded link to Sunny Lohman's video loads as autoplay, I have finally deleted the embed and am only providing you with a link to the entry at the daily caller Daily Caller embed of Sunny's Outlook on Obamacare.

I will take the opportunity of this update to criticize Daily Caller for a number of things on this.
  1. This is the first of Sunny's video's whose audio sounds like it was recorded in a cave.
  2. It's hard to hear her well. Horrible production values.
  3. The nature of their embed that insists on autoplay is, if it keeps up, going to run against their goal of increasing traffic to their site. It's okay to have the included ad, but they really ought to find some other way to direct traffic to them. I'd label this attempt as a FAIL.
  4. So far they have not made it possible to find her weekly videos easily. The only way I found her first week's video was by happenstance via another blog. Searching for "Sunny" at their site did not do it at the time I tried. I have not yet gone back to find this week's video, published yesterday.

Media Errors: "A Feature Not a Bug"

Fast forward to 5:50 in this clip

"My final conclusion 'This is deliberate,'" says Stewart. "The chaos they vomit onto the screen -- the very same thing we thought news organizations were created to prevent* -- is a feature, not a bug."

*Jon Stewart malapropped clarify for prevent. We corrected the record to be consistent with context.
Stewart goes on to a clip from an interview with CNN's honcho, where he explains (crows?) how the audience forgave them for their botch of the Boston Marathon terror episode. How does he know? CNN was rewarded by the viewers when, only two days later, they gave CNN its largest audience ever.

Stewart concludes from that:
"OMG! The lesson they take from this is 'it doesn't matter how much they betray our trust; we'll keep coming back.'  We're in an abusive relationship with CNN!"

Not funny ha ha, but funny sad.

It reminds me of Bill Clinton's twist of the old wisdom into his infamous "Why tell the truth when a good lie will do?" Clinton's cynicism is echoed in the behavior of the Soviet-Style Media (SSM) where it seems like their slogan is
"Don't worry about making errors; it's good practice for when ordered to lie."

Filibuster Live

Live streaming video by Ustream

While you watch this, you may find this post, inspired by the words of Harry Reid (who made this filibuster necessary), noteworthy.

No Taxation Without Representation

One More Thing

I have broken precedent here.

This little note is my fifth post in two days. I've never done that before.

Furthermore, I may yet post two more before the day is out.

Reason?

I have never been so upset before with our public servants, our media, and also our so-called watchdogs of the media as well.  The two posts I'm currently working on could be too long were I to include all the evidence I have showing that Brent Bozelle's Media Research Center is in it only for the money they can get in donations from us who are targets of the alphabet networks.

As brother Og asks, "how is that news?"  What is news is that I have evidence.  Stay tuned.

One Handgun

One worthy, stand-alone extract from Wretchard

In other news we hear that one handgun in Kenya saved 100 lives.
An off-duty member of the SAS emerged as a hero of the Nairobi siege yesterday, after he was credited with saving up to 100 lives.
The soldier was having coffee at the Westgate mall when it was attacked by Islamists on Saturday. With a gun tucked into his waistband, he was pictured helping two women from the complex.
He is said to have returned to the building on a dozen occasions, despite intense gunfire.
A friend in Nairobi said: ‘What he did was so heroic. He was having coffee with friends when it happened.
‘He went back in 12 times and saved 100 people. Imagine going back in when you knew what was going on inside.’
Calling Piers Morgan. Calling Piers Morgan.

Forced Against His Will; of the Same Opinion Still

I headlined this old maxim so as to provide South Carolina campaigners something to work with. I wanted to build something to provide an example of how to help voters expect what lies to hear from Lindsey Graham so they will reelect him.

Talkshow host Mark Levin sarcastically refers to the Progressive duo of Graham and McCain as "the same sex senators." Why?  Because they tend to be so close on Leftist policy issues, including redefining marriage, on most any  part of the Prog assaults on our culture and religious mores.

So for primarying Graham, I suggest looking at McCain's successful bid to hoodwink the conservative electorate of Arizona, and presume that Graham will attempt to do the same, and then exploit the similarity of the two men.

Based on the following story, it appears he has already begun to do so. For Graham in 2014, the Obamacare factor should still be big:

Facing Primary, Lindsey Graham Now Supports Defunding ObamaCare

Yet, we all know from only months ago what he really thinks, and "a man forced against his will is of the same opinion still. "

For McCain for 2010, illegal aliens and border violence were big:
1. "Since taking a harder line on illegal immigration, the Arizona senator's future may hinge on whether voters see him as honest or opportunistic."
June 08, 2010 | By Mark Z. Barabak, Los Angeles Times
(Heck, even the LASlimes was skeptical):

 2. Pressure on McCain was so great that he stooped to create this video.

Yet look at John McCain's stance today. He rails against all who expected him to honor his promise to protect our borders.
So, yes, "a man forced against his will is of the same opinion still." And, as evidenced by McCain's hatred for anything TEA party, there is hardly another man too who could be more bitter about his feeling being forced to pretend to be a servant of the public's will. How degrading, eh Johnny boy?

This is meant more as a demonstration than as any solid sort of campaign program. It was too easy to build.

Still, if South Carolina campaigners cannot come up with their own ideas after reviewing these facts, I'd not trust the campaign chairs. They've probably been bought off by the GOPe which they must think is the only thing that really matters. There are too many shadowy consultants for whom character, integrity, patriotism and honor are only words to be manipulated.

No Taxation Without Representation

Harry Reid said today
“We’re not going to bow to Tea Party anarchists who deny the mere fact that Obamacare is the law.”

Hold on Harry. Now you are concerned about the law? What about the border laws? Immigration Laws? War laws that say the President can't arm terrorists as he's doing in Syria and did in Libya and Egypt?

Now you are "Mr Law is sacrosanct."

You know where you can shove your hypocrisy you pompous Prog.

Now lets get down to tax.

The only reason this damn law was declared constitutional was that the SCOTUS majority opinion called its key penalty a tax.

We are represented by members of Congress to decide when and if we will be taxed and by how much. The provisions in the law must be funded each year with our representatives agreeing to it. That is the point of the checks and balances. The House of Representatives is not the Senate that you rule.

At least on the face of it we do not yet live in a one-party ruled nation. Got that buster?

Who are you to call half the legislature and the people who gave them the majority anarchists? Project much buster?

It is YOU who is acting like only you and Obama are joint central strongmen of an anarchy, where you make the laws for others as you deign which you yourself will obey.

Because you have the nerve to show no deference or even simple respect (you damned radical!) to our representatives who tell you "NO. You cannot tax us for Obamacare" -- then FUHR.

Dammit TEA party patriots. Nail this bastard but good.
No taxation without representation.
That IS the spirit of the TEA party.

No, Not Stupid; The Complicit Party

I get so tired of needing to point this out. Ace will turn blue in the face before he utters the words Complicit Party, no matter how much evidence he presents demonstrating it.

Why It's Called "The Stupid Party": GOP Turns Fight Against The Horrors Of ObamaCare Into A Process Story

You know why the GOP loses a lot? Because it deserves to.
Yesterday a bunch of Republican Senators went around to the various Sunday shows and instead of talking about why it's imperative ObamaCare be repealed because of the damage it's doing, they decided to make it about how much they hate Ted Cruz. Some Republicans went as far as to offer Fox News Sunday Host Chris Wallace what he termed, "opposition research" on Cruz.

His point is valid about what would be stupid if they really were on our side. But all evidence suggests that we cannot afford to think those who are smart enough to attain the power and position they now own can ONLY be stupid on life threatening laws. Once it's happenstance, twice it's coincidence, thrice it's enemy action.

Look even Ace shows he does understand the problem by ending his post with "There are only a couple of ways the GOP can possibly lose the House next year. A shutdown isn't one of them but completely demoralizing conservatives certainly could."

Ultimately I cannot make headway on this alone. I will try, but that is far from the same thing as succeeding. More smaller blogs need to say this -- "No, not the stupid party; the complicit party"-- when they report on the next bit of evidence supporting it. Only in that way do we stand a chance to rid ourselves of Prog Republicans once and for all.

**Update**
An Obama hack at The Politico equated men like Senator Cruz to scorpions:
"I am not talking about the entire Republican Party. I am talking about a faction of far-right, tea party-driven congressmen who do not care who drowns."
See what this implies? The Left knows and needs to protect the SKUNCs who work with them to undermine America. As the TEA Party members get hit from both sides, help make other patriots see how these SKUNCs are complicit.

Update Contempt from Unexpected Sources

This is the third in a series of emails I've received from Heritage. (The second, which was like the first which I have already discussed, I ignored).

Dear Pascal,

Without leadership, nations crumble.

Yet today, our nation’s leaders too often fail to lead. They are too often feckless, subject to the winds of public opinion.

Unless we hold them accountable to our Constitution and to the conservative principles critical to our nation’s success, we will slip deeper and deeper into an economic, moral, and spiritual decline.

The Heritage Foundation is willing to fill this leadership vacuum and lead the fight to restore America. And I believe you have what it takes to stand alongside us.

The Heritage Foundation is calling 500 strong, committed conservatives like you to join our exclusive Leaders Club before September20[ IOW: SEND MONEY!]

Your support has already made a difference. Just yesterday, Congressional leaders announced their support for a plan -- championed by Heritage over the objections of the Washington Establishment -- to defund Obamacare.

But this isn't the end of the fight. We need people like you who will lead based on principle, not popularity . . . who will commit to the conservative cause month in and month out.
[ IOW: SEND MONEY MONTHLY!]

[IOW BE A GOOD LEADER (laughter stifled) AND SEND MONEY]

Thank you for standing with Heritage in our fight to get America back on course.
Sincerely,
Jim DeMint
President
The Heritage Foundation
[Bwahahahaha]

Good News or Bad?

Wednesday night was the first time I heard any talk show host use the phrase Soviet-style in the manner I have when referring to what most people still refer to as MSM, but to which I refer as SSM -- Soviet-Style Media.

The actual sentence he used was  near the end of his opening monologue at 11:50 (of the podcast) pertaining to the fight we have forced on the House of Representatives to eliminate the funding for ObamaCare:
"What will all the phoney conservatives, phoney leaders of the Republican Party in the senate [McCain, Graham, McConnell, Alexander], what will they do?  Are they going to continue to undermine the American people who want nothing to do with this damn Soviet-style law? " [Earlier in the monologue he lays out how tyrannical Obamacare's implementation has been, and thus fitting of the appellation.]
The good news is that by Levin uttering the phrase "Soviet-style," that the phrase is no longer found solely on this humble blog. It is now okay to say on national radio. And elsewhere.

The bad news: Is it too little too late to affect the debate and fight?

Well, let us pray that it is not too late.  I myself realized only this past March that the media is the most Soviet-style institution we have. And, as such, has been the most damaging to our efforts to garner respect for the TEA Party movement and its goal of reining in the monstrous growth of Leviathan.

Thus, I say again, paraphrasing Cato the Elder, but in English this time: Soviet-style media must be destroyed.

Contempt from Unexpected Sources

This time it is the Heritage Foundation and a letter from its head, former GOP Senator Jim DeMint.
Subject: Lead the way

Dear Pascal,

Are you a true and committed conservative leader? Do you want to be?
Followed by more attempts at sounding appealing. And, at the closing, above link is again offered.

This is what you find at the link as of the time of this posting:

How you can be a leader who will change the course of the conservative movement

Our nation is under siege by big-government liberals who work tirelessly and deliberately to dismantle the foundation of our great country.

We see the evidence of the liberals’ work in the federal government’s over-reaching regulation, out-of-control spending, skyrocketing deficits, and weakened national defense.

The liberals’ constant vigilance—and the left-wing drumbeat from their media allies—means that Heritage’s fight for conservative principles must not rest. To carry this fight through to victory, we must have principled partners who will stand with us along each step of this battle.

You can be part of the solution

To be prepared for this fight, The Heritage Foundation created the Leaders Club, a small cadre of committed conservatives who show their dedication to conservative principles by supporting the cause with a simple monthly donation.

Let me highlight the key words in that last portion on "how to become a leader" before concluding:
show dedication to conservative principles with a simple monthly donation.

IOW:
Listen you schmucks: Send Heritage your money and leave the thinking to us big brains.

Great! That is the precisely the language the TEA party movement hears from the GOPe.

Crystal Clear: FUHF

BTW, I do not have HF's email recipient list, and I know they won't listen to any email I send them back.  That would be true even if I doesn't run up against an automatic "no-return-email" wall. So they have left me (FUPF) with this blog exposé as the only way I have to attempt to get through to them.

If you can see the contempt for us "proles" that this sort of emailing  implies, please consider doing something like this at your own blogs, or in comments elsewhere. It is really not so much that I am for revolting, it is that I find the Establishment revolting.

Contempt for Us: Relentless

I received this email from the Media Research Center

Dear Pascal,
It’s hard to decide which is the bigger scandal: The IRS harassing conservatives or the liberal Soviet Style* media’s continued censorship of this shockingstory. [*fixed by PF]

In our relentless effort to blow the lid off the most shocking political scandal to hit Washington in decades, the Media Research Center has uncovered that ABC, NBC, and CBS are refusingto report the latest bombshell news that severely undercut the IRS’s case that the agency wasn’t politically motivated in its targeting of Tea Party groups.

In a February 2011 email, Lois Lerner advised her staff that the Tea Party matter was “very dangerous” and insisted that “Cincy should probably not have these cases.”

And how do the leftist propagandists posing as journalists respond? By censoring this story completely.
I rarely sign these petitions. That is due to my personal discomfort that organizations like this do not request any sort of aid other than signing their petitions and sending them money. When the communication is only one-way, then it is categorically non-grassroots, and thus highly suspect. It smells too much of O'Brien. If your senses differ from mine, here is the link to their petition and entry into their pester you forever list.

All we ask is that you sign our Stop Censoring the IRS Scandal petition to shame the liberal media into doing their job.

"Shame the liberal media SSM." ROTFLMAO

Well Beyond Shameless

I often speak in general about how the Progs, as they advanced their power grabs, came to the phase where they acted shamelessly. That is, they became so powerful they could feel the success of their long-term agenda was fully secure. Opposition to their expanding agenda had become so spotty as to have become unworthy of even acknowledgement.

That is why this story caught my eye. The opposition this time seems to have moved them to mounting a reactionary type vendetta.

Congress’s Exemption from Obamacare Make Congress get insurance the same way the little people do? Hill denizens howl in fury.

Excerpt:

The Congressional Leadership Empire decided to strike back at Vitter. Politico reported that several Democratic senators have asked staff to draft legislation that would deny federal health subsidies to anyone who votes for the Vitter plan, even if Vitter’s plan doesn’t become law. An even more spiteful draft bill would bar subsidies to any lawmaker or aide found by a congressional ethics committee to have “engaged in the solicitation of prostitution.”

Aside from the strong-arm tactics that this dust-up provides us a rare opportunity to witness, there is the implied better-than-thou by the Senators out to punish Vitter and allies for his dissent with them.

What I observed here was what I wished to place in my archives. It's been abundantly clear that DC has been operating in a crony-capitalist capacity for many years, but most openly -- do a search for the word brazen on this blog for more examples -- in these last five years.

So please note that they who seek now to punish Vitter, specifically for a past forgiven incident of "solicitation of prostitution," have  themselves proven to be the best paid whores in our country's history. Thus, Senators Reid and Boxer, in attacking Vitter this way, are well past shameless.

Are You a Target of the Susnuts?

Or are you one of their mindless bots who believes you are somehow special?

At Liberty's Torch, Weetabix asked me a question whose answer is too long to put into a small comment.

Pascal - I must admit up front that a surfeit of current projects has undermined my normal willingness to research - have you any links to further explain the "Malthusian Sustainability nuts?"

The answer is even too long for a single post, but I need try at least this once.

For my recent thoughts, the Sustainability label at my blog will provide you many examples of news that spurred me to note the connection.

Our host, Fran, beginning in 2004, ran an exhaustive series called "The Death Cults."  The participation of mainstream elected leaders were much less brazen then. But they did permit non-profit status to be bestowed upon a load of Malthusian extremists. The same IRS that blocked TEA Party groups from (c4) status lets those guys thrive under (c3).

I've a not too complex theory that has withstood my tests over time. It is time to let others take some shots at it. If it only needs some adaptations and it can be refined, maybe there is hope that can be snatched from the knowledge. Know thy enemy and know thyself, and you will win every war said Sun Tsu.

Thomas Malthus' theories arose about 50 years after Pascal's death. The Age of Reason was beginning to undermine the Ancien Régimes. Many rulers saw and welcomed the benefits of liberty. But two kinds, both powerful, hated it. Those who hate the common man, and those who love concentrated power. Sometimes they're the same, and sometimes not. Malthus provided a "moral" cloak to hide both the explicit and implicit hatred of humanity -- even from themselves. By being able to convince even themselves that their vision is righteous, they can remain calm and seemingly benign as they convince large numbers
"Leave it to us boys. We know what needs be done. Really."

(The ancient Sophists understood power and how to get and keep it. One of their chief ways of keeping it was through fostering ideas that attract casuists -- men who sought the moral path based on studying cases of conduct -- and let them do the heavy lifting, often with little expense or risk to the Sophists' masters, spurred by a few demagogues, and fueled considerably by the zeal of the useful idiots. Eric Hoffer, by popularizing the more easily understood term of "true believer,"  did us a disservice by disconnecting the Greek designation for them, and thus their historically implied connection to the power seeking schemers. The humanity haters may believe they now have sufficient armies of those who are enthralled by the indirect means  to achieving a new (old) religion (see below). It is one that will provide them moral authority to achieve their goals. The real powers only have to support the activists when things get tough. Mostly they have historically chosen to be silent partners. Today -- not so silent.)

A tactical note. What I'd like to make popular is the term Susnuts (or something like it), for the worshipers of Sustainability. (It really does fit the open ones. What I'd like is for the term to affect those who remain hidden. Some, who retain some of their humanity, will feel tainted by it). They believe their goal is righteous: to save us all from the one thing (they believe) that the planet has too much of -- human beings. They know that targets will not appreciate it, so they can't easily announce it. But they could not help leaving mountains of evidence as they progress.

It has all the earmarks of a religion. Ancient pagan ones. The ones that flung live babies into holocausts and virgins to the wolves. Its "priests" are instigating wars with the competition; that is, with  all people who still adhere to the Judeo-Christian ethos whether or not they are religious.

For instance, you are seeing today with the witch hunts to rid the military of people who dare stand by their religion. Any religion that has in its books the promise "God will provide" -- the contrary idea to their conviction that we will run out of sustainable items -- is anathema to them. The phrase linked to Hitler "the Jewish disease" expresses the major cultural foundational obstacle to the earliest Susnuts (eugenics embracing Progressives such as H.G. Wells and Margaret Sanger) long before Hitler was born.

One more thing. The old labels do not apply here. Even those who call themselves religious or conservative will say "but there are too many people." They might be reachable. If even 50% reading this blog don't say that, then that would be wonderful news. But, if Armageddon really is imminent, forget about large numbers. Then, as Revelation predicts, the majority are already deluded. What can I say? The ones who seek to save their souls will be reached.

I say that as an agnostic. I literally do not know. But the evidence is hard to deny. Believing the world is overpopulated has to be deluded, because it leads inevitably to world-wide wipe-outs. This goes back to "Progressive" thought of the late 1800s. Those who most want children cannot be tolerated by the Progs lest they over-populate with all "the wrong" types. HG Wells' eugenic euphemism of "people of the abyss" is what they do not want as survivors.

If we are stoked into a civil war, it will be between peoples who have been set upon each other by these schemers seeking to obliterate the current population of the planet. I used the term 1/13 as a guess for their target number, because it fits their vision so well. A normal deck of 52 playing cards has only 4 aces; 4/52 = 1/13. Only Aces will be permitted to survive. Ace rocket scientists down to ace housekeepers and gardeners I guess.  Don't ask me how they plan on living well if they do manage somehow to survive their man-made cataclysm. They're the whiz-kids. Ask them.

I look at this pessimistic thought process of the Susnuts, their craven misanthropic backers and their foolish followers and I see a clear demarcation between them and people who I'd say are filled with common human decency. That is a charitable streak which shows itself most nobly in times of crisis often in stark contrast to the less than noble behaviors that occur then too. In short its captured by the phrase "we are all in the same boat; let's make the best of it."

The Susnut creed, with its religious like belief in the inevitability of Malthusian catastrophes, and which has created a moral imperative derived from the specious Precautionary Principle, has to hide its intentions from its victims.
  • The boat we call Earth has limited resources, so we enlightened geniuses must decide who stays and what useless souls must be thrown overboard.
  • We love humanity so much we must cull it properly in order to save it.
  • Our morality (live and let die) trumps yours (live and let live) so much that we can't even speak of it openly because the majority are benighted souls who simply do not understand us.
Are you with them or are you against them?

And if you agree with them, then "are you useful?"
Enough?

For how long?

Well?  Are you a target of the Susnuts?

What Is the Best Answer?

During a brief verbal spat between myself and young woman, she proudly blurted out "I'm a socialist" as if that were proof of her moral superiority and greater intellect. Several retorts crossed my brain at once. I really did not take advantage of the moment to turn the incident more to the light side with a witticism.

So I've been playing with various quips that could be used for a whole slew of instances where some fool blurts "I'm a [blank]." Here are a few I like.

  • What have your personal problems got to do with this?
  •  I'm sorry. What's your Doctor's prognosis?
  • Is that a play for sympathy?
  • Oh, you're the one.

The one that crossed my mind, but I feared might be misconstrued given how ill-informed most young lefties are, was "Given that so many good socialists died in Stalin's Gulag, you should know that such an honest declaration won't save you from your own comrades."

Perhaps some of you can think of a few quips that are not too biting. Please add them to the comment stream.

Difficult Decisions

This photo accompanied the headline at The Guardian which reads "Decision to withdraw unflattering photo of François Hollande is criticised."

What I want to know is if this is considered bad, how do they ever run a picture of Nancy Pelosi?

It's Gonna Be Hard to Blame Bummer...

for the continuing crises in America, foreign and domestic, as his highness has now shown himself to be the wimp the grassroots conservative has known him to be.

What with Bummer now a laughing stock over his bungling his redline ultimatum to Assad, the real losers are those who have been cowering from the Bummer's media hyped invincibility -- John Boehner being the most craven of the Republicans. But what about the other members of the GOP who keep letting Boehner continuously cower to Bummer and his SSM?

The only ones fooled by the inactions to defund Obamacare, defang the IRS and EPA, and reign in all other departments caught in scandals, are those who prefer to appear foolish rather than complicit.

The revolt need not be bloody if enough people start taking advantage of the veil's having been penetrated. There are tactical openings here. I pray decent men rush in to fill the vacuum. I say pray, because all power seekers I've met or are familar with have hardly been trustworthy. The openings are there and getting wider. How much longer before the penny drops?

Help Instill Fresh Thinking at Breitbart.com

Once again I am disturbed by our side bashfully counter-attacking members of Establishment media.

This time it is this story: LA Times Claims 'Democrats Led Passage' of 1964 Civil Rights Act.

There is nothing wrong with this headline. It's the opening line that I find lame (emphasis added).
In a stunning historical error, Los Angeles Times reporters Kathleen Hennessey, Richard Simon, Alexei Koseff reported that "Democrats led the passage of civil rights legislation that marchers pushed for in 1963."

Here is the comment I left.
Never presume that such nonsense is an error. Declare it the brazen act of a media that models itself on the USSR's Pravda and Izvestia. It is a media that has used, and will increasingly use, the techniques of Joseph Goebbels.

You do not fight back by making excuses for your enemy. You demonstrate the pattern every chance they give you; build a mountain of evidence; and then convict them in the court of public opinion with the Preponderance of Evidence.

The LA Times is a major outlet of what people still call the mainstream media (MSM). It really is a major leader in getting us accustomed to a Soviet-Style Media (SSM). Our freedoms depend upon us calling them SSM each time they pass out mis- and dis-information.

Is Breitbart.com really the living testament to its founder? Then BE Breitbart. Be careful as you can, but DO NOT soften the charges.

As of this writing, it has garnered 2 votes. Please go there and add to it. Help me build some backbones there (if it is not already too late at that institution. So many of our institutions get co-opted quickly nowadays, it should not surprise anybody if it has gone over.)

Updated to note that a commenter there named Molly posted a similar idea 20 minutes after I did. I noticed because she was one of the thumbs up. She now has 6 thumbs up to my 3. I don't care really who gets the votes, just so long as more editors at Breitbart.com begin to approve more stories that sound like Andrew Breitbart and not Michael Medved.

The Soviet/Fascist Way Build-up

Setting up to apply Alinsky Rule Number 12 into a slick Orwellian Two Minute Hate during every hurricane, the Left-wing  "geniuses" at ClimateNameChange dot org are threatening all those who speak the truth: "fall in line with us fraudsters or suffer this."

Never forget that a favorite quote by more than one Prog organ is the infamous “Fascism will come to America in the name of anti-fascism” of the Depression Era demagogue, Huey Long.

I haven't tried to discover who is funding these apparatchiks, but I doubt I'll be surprised. I also bet they had no problem getting a 501 (c) 3 designation from the Obama IRS either.

Pass it on so that more people become familiar with the tactic. Hat tip to JWF.

STOP Funding the Enemy

I received yet another email request for funds from the Tea Party "Patriots" Citizens Fund.

Here is the maddening segment of Jenny Beth Martin's reasons for her request for funds.
2) We need to bombard targeted Senators with ads. The constituents of every single wishy-washy “Republican” need to understand what is at stake. We just don’t yet have the funding we need to buy these ads.

Someone this stupid has no business being in the business of fighting the Establishment. As far as I am concerned, she is essentially an antidisestablishmentarian.

Hey, maybe I'm overly sensitive, but am I wrong is this? Speaking as a reluctant blogger, one who would rather be gardening and visiting his children among other things, my primary reason for blogging has been to provide counter-arguments, meager as they are, to the relentless propaganda issuing from the Soviet-style media (SSM).

I cannot see any gain in providing funds to run ads that will only provide those same rotten institutions material to editorialize against. But worse, if it is true that their ad revenue IS falling, why oh why would we help sustain them in any way? It's one thing not to storm their offices on a daily basis in protest, but it is another diametrically opposite thing to give them money. Sheesh -- this is NOT rocket science.

Ok. Tell me how to get through to this person allegedly on our side. If she is permitted to go on without the millions she is emailing hearing this perspective, that is potentially tens of millions of dollars she personally will funnel to our enemy for an ad campaign we already know our politicians will ignore because they listen to the people who actually give the pols money, not the SSM.

Rewritten:

If she is permitted to go on -- and the millions she reaches do not hear of this perspective I am warning about -- and then succeeds, that is potentially tens of millions of dollars she personally will funnel to our enemy. All for an ad campaign that we already know from bitter experience that politicians will ignore because they listen to the people who fund them far more than we do. And that is even assuming that those same politicians are not adhering to an anti-conservative, anti-constitutional agenda already.
It is worse than pissing our money away down a hole. It is giving our money to arguably our worst enemy, the SSM.

Parent's Job Is Never Over

Number 1 offspring is an advancing professional, mid 30s, who also engages is some very exuberant sports and recreation. This is someone who has been quite brilliant from the start, and tends to take good fortune for granted.

That "for granted" part always sits uneasy with me. So being told of the latest rather extreme hobby, I offered the following observation.

Papa: What with you having survived a near miss only last month, and now with you informing me of even riskier exploits, I guess you are still my acorn.

Eldest: ....

Papa: If you manage to survive your ever more elaborate challenges of death, I have no doubt you'll grow into a magnificent oak. But until then, you are just another nut.

McCain, Graham, et al: Radical Leftwing Republicans

No, don't rub your eyes.  This post's title exemplifies the kind of language you need to begin using in order to break the stranglehold the Left has on discussion -- and yes, even on your thoughts.

Be a good iconoclast and break that barrier that you did not construct but has been hamstringing you from really gaining the upper hand in the one political party that is allegedly pro-constitution.

I was spurred to action by an email I received this morning from the "Tea Party Patriots" (yes, those are scorn quotes until proven otherwise) as written by Sean Hannity.

It began (all emphasis in the original):

**A Special Message from Sean Hannity**

Dear Patriot,
Tea Party Patriots is going toe-to-toe with John McCain, Lindsey Graham and the rest of the moderate Republicans who don’t want to stop Obamacare.
These inside-the-beltway compromisers let Barack Obama exempt big business from Obamacare. Then, they exempted themselves. But they refuse to exempt you and me!
That’s why I’ve made it my personal mission to help Jenny Beth Martin and Tea Party Patriots raise the money they need to win this battle to Exempt America from Obamacare!

Sean Hannity, let me edit that for you:
Tea Party Patriots is going toe-to-toe with John McCain, Lindsey Graham and the rest of the moderate radical Progressive Republicans who don’t want to stop Obamacare.  To "not want to stop Obamacare" is not moderate sir, it is a radical position, just as were the congressional ploys used to pass it in the first place.

You can help forge a big change in the discussion and direction of the GOP.

Sean Hannity and all the rest of the "conservative" talkers need to be led, as usual, by their brighter listeners. I only wish I was bright enough earlier to have learned how to make the case clearer to more loyal Americans.

Well, it is not too late to do your part.
  • Each time you call -- and refer to these GOP "Progressives" -- use terms that have no inkling of moderate in them.
  • If you know of others who call, convince them that this is true.
These GOP pols have been and continue to be radicals in their aiding the Democrats' agenda and in slurring conservatives every chance they get.  They call you racist, xenophobic, homophobic, crazy every chance they get. That is moderate? Since when?

So label them appropriately. They have thoroughly earned the radical label and our enmity.

Back to Fundamentals

Protect hearth and kin.

Form your wider blocs of the trusted.

As KG put it, If not now, when?

There are quite a variety of good comments at that link. So good that it inspired me to comment as follows.
“Where are the fucking defenders of freedom in the US today? ” — Redbaiter

“What will be the Lexington Moment when we finally open fire on the Redcoats of DHS and start the Second U.S. Civil War/Revolution?” — Ronbo
Why does it take so long? The Left is cunning and understands its enemy better: that the Right most of all wants to be left alone. This is what RB is pissed about, and I don’t blame him. But hear me out so you can learn to do what was not done earlier.

See, as usual the Left has twisted normality. This time wisdom. They took Clausewitz’ maxim and came up with “Politics is War by other means.” And it worked spectacularly because, like Sun Tsu advised, they knew their enemy and their enemy (us) didn’t even know itself.

And because conservatives first and foremost want to be left alone, they turned for their defenses to professional politicians. But being professional means “he who pays the piper [the most] calls the tune.” Another way of saying they are members of the oldest profession.

So we are left having to defend our liberties ourselves. But you will have the odds against you doing that yourself. You must dare to ally with others. You need blocs.

But forming blocs, as should be so obvious by now, is contrary to our nature.

I’d like to provide a lesson, by way of example, that pointed up the need for blocs 20 years ago. This comment is already too long, so I’m providing a link instead.

That link is an html anchor to an anecdote in the middle of a longer essay. It demonstrates how the Left succeeded where they should not have. Our side would have prevailed had logic, backed by numbers, been in attendance.

Only logic was attendant, and it got bullied into silence because it did not anticipate the planning of community organizers, their agitprop, and their time-tested ways of getting masses to go along with them.

Follow the lead of KG, Redbaiter, and Ronbo, and work at convincing your trusted friends that war has indeed been declared. Convince them of the real maxim “War is the continuation of Politik by other means.” And that that war was declared by the Left. They have shed their anti-fascist cloak and revealed their own love of fascism. Their war is being waged against us now in the form of noose tightening.

Pray to God that it is not too late to form blocs of the righteous, because you all know the history of attempting to use logic on fascists.

Godspeed.

Scratch Overt; BRAZEN Fascism

Well past covert fascism; hasn't been overt fascism for long; now it's openly brazen.

Obama: I Didn't Just Suspend the Law of the United States on My Own Authority; I Suspended the Law in Consultation With "Businesses" (aka "My Donors")

Thanks to Ace, who adds:
There was one question on this, from Ed Henry, and no follow-ups from anyone else.

The media, the alleged "Watchdogs of Democracy," apparently believes it is a fairly unobjectionable statement that the president may suspend the law on his own authority as he may see politically fit, so long as he has the blessing of what I'm going to call The Corporate Congress.

Do any of my readers recall my image of how the Progressives Incrementalists have advanced their agenda over more than a century? This is from November of 2009:

The Left's Successful Disguises

Aside from the often ignored coincidence that left and sinister share a common meaning, the very fact that the Left, particularly the moderate sounding Leftists, has long disguised its intentions with pleasant sounding labels... well that should automatically send our inborn instincts on edge that there has been something sinister going on over there.

So let us always be ready to review their history. The Left has a pattern that it consistently follows.
  • They call themselves progressive; but their lust for power makes them regressive. Concentrated power comes at the expense of individual rights. There is no exception.
  • They call themselves liberal; but more intolerance of others' opinion you will not find in any other group.
  • They call themselves anti-fascists; but they really seek fascism with "the right people" in charge. Them.
Due to the lack of a unified opposition party and consequent unguarded deterioration of America's foundational "checks and balances" institutions, the Progs have nearly completely succeeded in seating America's first open dictator.

So my point is we all should remember those words of Huey Long -- "Fascism will come to America in the name of anti-fascism." -- because we now know them to have been providing the Progs their vision in their long march through our institutions. Arguably, their antifascist cloak has been their most successful disguise of all.

Marxism-Leninism is particularly effective on the semantic level where it exhibits a devastating duality. It lulls its adversaries to sleep, while at the same time it mobilizes its followers to revolutionary action. The Communist International's Seventh Congress concluded that open use of revolutionary terminology does not promote the Marxist-Leninist drive for world domination.
Therefore, "revolution" has been changed into "liberation," "world conquest by the proletariat" has been changed into "peace and socialism," "armed seizure of power and liquidation of the bourgeoisie" has been rephrased to read "peaceful and gradual transition to socialism.''

Even the word "Communism," which every revolutionary is so proud of, has been changed into "progressive, "anti-Fascist" or "liberal." Further, to confuse their adversaries, the Marxist-Leninists have devised a new language which uses old words in the basic vocabulary. When they say "imperialism arouses the wrath of the people and digs its own grave," they mean "through our manipulation of the local Communist parties, and with a vast auxiliary corps of dupes ; and sympathizers, we so arrange matters that the free enterprise system and democracy are destroyed from within. -- From "Where is your America?" by Libor Brom, IMPRIMIS; Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan, 49242 Vol 11, No. 8., August 1982

Overt Fascism, Explicit Projection

I purposely left out commentary about the last line of the link that prompted yesterday's post, Overt Fascism, the Projection.

I figured the agitproping bastard, should he follow the link back, didn't need to know easily that I understood why he ended his braggadocio with the following:
Louisiana Senator Huey Long, a mesmerizing agitator, once said, "Fascism will come to America in the name of anti-fascism."
This quote is what prompted the "explicit projection" of today's title. Let me explain.

Every Progressive, Left or Right, always accuses conservatives of fascism. The implication is that they are anti-fascist.  -- "Fascism will come to America in the name of anti-fascism."

Their claim is that they form the vanguard that protects America from all those people they call fascist. This is their propaganda. Fascist. The media has long been in cahoots with that line of thinking. Fascist. The Progressive Republicans have always been the ones saving the party from being overrun by the far right wing. Fascist Big Lie.

Who is not aware that Bummer is in bed with many large companies and their CEOs? Jeffrey Immelt of General Electric was the most noted and involved of them, but need I list them all? Fascist.

The campaigns of attempting to make TEA Party look dangerous and all white? Do you recall that Arizona TEA party with the photo of the attendee with the scary looking assault rifle? But the photo had been trimmed to hide the fact that a black man was attending the gathering with a rifle and nobody there bitched. That instance was altered to fit the "anti-fascist" narrative. It just so happens to  match the very same formula Mr. Schechter used in his screed:  "The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial ethnic or religious minorities."

It just so happens, that in the real world, our Soviet-Style Media is doing exactly that, but the hatred and fear is directed at the white, European, Judeo-Christian minority. I say minority, because they really are excluded more and more from government (see Gresham's Law.) The model the Statists (masquerading as antifascists) are using is Lenin's where the minority Bolsheviks outmaneuvered the larger population Mensheviks.

And another thing here. I've many times in these pages pointed out the primary difference behind what drove the collectivist mentalities of the 20th Century, all of which had "Progressive" roots with its Malthusian and Eugenic ideas.

The Primary difference between the "socialist" ideology of Soviet Union and the Axis powers was this. That the former sought to enslave all the globes people and then pick and choose who should survive. The Axis powers were called national socialist, and they wanted to have their master races rule and survive.

You all know the bloody history of both. You should be shuddering to think of what Mr. Schechtor was bragging about. His International Social Progressives have accomplished what Huey Long said they would do if they pretended to be anti-fascists. They would achieve the power of fascists but still have the same megalomaniacal goals of the world government that the Soviet Union sought.

Will Khruschev's words come true "we will bury you?"  Mr. Schechtor was bragging like it had been accomplished in 2011 even before Bummer was reelected.

By the way, Mr. S is not the only Lefty telling his readers that "Fascism will come to America in the name of anti-fascism." That is, with "the right people" in control this time.  Do a web search and see for yourself.

One more thing for Mr. S and his comrades. It is long past time for you to read the consequences for yourself in this world for putting your faith in "the right people" instead of your Maker. Go read Gulag Archipelago while you still have some options.

Anyway, for the normal reader, the bottom line is this. By claiming the label "anti-fascist," the Progs have maneuvered themselves into nearly achieving the fascist control of America, with Bummer as their first dictator. With the official opposition to their dictator represented by two weak images -- the crying Speaker John Boehner and the compromised Chief Justice John Roberts -- you can see the need for a really cohesive TEA party movement. The next order of business it for you to seek out locally fresh and honest leaders.

Overt Fascism, the Projection

Recent events got me to thinking has anyone used the phrase "overt fascism" to describe the nature of the crony-capitalism which Bummer has exploited to further his Marxist take-down of America on behalf of his clients?

Well, I did a web search for the phrase. I find it mind boggling that there is a dearth of Right writers recognizing the fascism in Bummer's alliance with major business players and not calling him and them out for it. The foremost I found was this feverish projection by a Leftist rag's wag, published in 2011:  Is Fascism Lurking? by Danny Schechter of the Prog site Commondreams.org.  I recommend reading it. I think it fisks itself.

Here are some excerpts with my short fisks thoughts enclosed in brackets.

The Tea Party is not just after Democrats; it has started a campaign against the liberal Methodist Church. [Holy cow: the TEA Party has taken aim at the Progs of the GOP. But it's the Methodists he singles out.]

Already militias are forming because of fears of immigration [invasion is not immigration]... Gun sales went up after the recent violent incidents in Arizona.[What fascist regime permits private gun ownership? Oh, that's right. YOUR side is active in the gun confiscation efforts. See what I mean Schechter?]

The erosion of economic stability with the rise of foreclosures and the shredding of social services is already turning a financial crisis into a social one. [Your Bum actively did nothing for economic well-being while he spent his first years hobbling jobs with regulation and the Obamacare buildup.]

We already have sharp partisan divide and inflation of hateful rhetoric with vicious putdowns of the President and condemnations by members of Congress calling him corrupt, even a traitor.
According to set of the characteristics of fascist nations, there is "a disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc. [Uh, huh. Declaring our veterans likely terrorists whilst denying al Qaeda is growing and infiltrating. And the surveillance increases plus Drone snooping and striking that your man is deep into. No fascism there buddy?]

"In place of human rights enemies are turned into scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial [whites] ethnic [Euro] or religious [non-muslim] minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists [anti-]." This process is already far along in the USA. [Yep as I noted: Your projection is a long-standing Prog devise.]

Among the classical characteristics of fascism is a shutting down of debate and a focus on the state--which in our country is controlled by lobbyists and private interests. [Holy cow. The Educational system allows diverse opinions if they even suspect of being on the right? And what conservatives are allowed in ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, PBS? Fox is hardly even conservative judging by Rupert's known Left leanings on numbers of issues from CAGW to Open borders] Wall Street and the military-industrial complex have far more clout than elected officials.[As the military gets trimmed drastically, all haters of America would still say that -- no doubt.]

As the depressing news of last week continued into this week, I was hoping I'd find someone who'd try to awaken America to the real threats from the combined efforts of our two parties (no opposition in view). The best I could find was this mirror image of what is really going on. Sigh.

M³ At the Core of It All

I must admit that saying M³ (Megalomaniacal Malthusian Misanthropes) is at the core of it all reads like one hell of an assertion. It is simpler to say that the hatred of all human life is at the core of it all, but that would not be sufficient to expose the alliance of the monster types involved as is done in the above link.

Well, the assertion is actually my soft-science theory. Its hypothesis was far less difficult to engender than was Einstein's Universal Field Theory which eluded him. Furthermore, as an explanation for the politics of the post-modern world, it still has not been proven wrong. Sad to say, it is a fact that too much of all three qualities can be found in the wannabe rulers of today.

Plus, the evidence in favor of the theory -- Let's call it Anti-humanism -- continues to mount.

Whenever anyone reads stories like the one Redbaiter posted at TrueblueNZ like Singapore- trend to gender equality drives need for immigrants, that contains evidence like this:
“The choice to take a hostile stance to immigrants is something that Singapore cannot afford to make. Like it or not, unless we have more babies, we need to accept immigrants,” concluded former Singapore PM Lee Kuan Yew.

What Lee is really saying is that the progressive social trend towards “gender equality” has stuffed Singapore’s traditional culture and its economy. Bet you can’t guess where else the same trend is having the same outcomes.

the thought ought to cross any sane man’s mind “Where did the idiotic notions come from that brought us to this crisis?”

And for those who really don’t know, I would point them to TrueblueNZ's sidebar where they will find this:
Critical Theory

The stuff we’ve been hearing about, – the radical feminism, the women’s studies departments, the gay studies departments, the black studies departments – all these things are branches of Critical Theory.

What the Frankfurt School essentially does is draw on both Marx and Freud in the 1930s to create this theory called Critical Theory. The term is ingenious because you’re tempted to ask, “What is the theory?” The theory is to criticize.

What Critical Theory is about is simply criticizing. It calls for the most destructive criticism possible, in every possible way, designed to bring the current order down.

And, of course, when we hear from the feminists that the whole of society is just out to get women and so on, that kind of criticism is a derivative of Critical Theory. It is all coming from the 1930s, not the 1960s.

Bill Lind
And what was criticized in this case? The role of Mother and the notion that it had any real value to society.

And the reduction of Motherhood to less than subhuman stature is in concert with the (Leftist) homosexual chide of heterosexuals as “breeders.”

Redbaiter, in response to my comment, added:
"Notice how no one talks about or acknowledges 'Critical Theory' Pascal?

That is the first pointer to what is behind the whole Prog movement."
Which brings us to the ultimate source of why these programs are driven by Progs. It’s all about Sustainability and its pagan moral code. The hatred of all human life is at the core of it all.

"Death Panels" Now Bipartisan Words

Some news today helps sustain my comments of yesterday. I wrote about why I shifted from being a Sarah Palin supporter to being skeptical.

I loved her looks; her dynamic personality; her origins; and the things she said. And if you hit my Palin label, you will see I may have been the first to understand PDS and to rail against it.

However, after learning of some of the things she had done while she was governor of Alaska (naming only two awful things: AGW policies and endorsing the UN Law of the Sea Treaty) I became disillusioned in her.

And when she campaigned, in the CA GOP primaries, for two female SKUNCs (Carly Fiorina to oppose Boxer and Meg Whitman to oppose Brown) against real conservatives in the primaries, plus helping the despicable McCain retain his senate seat, I can only say that I hope the type of character that Palin represents is NOT disqualified as you [commenter Paul] suggest with "I doubt we see her equal again." Because I yearn to live to see the real thing.

Our enemies know what we like, and are clever enough to provide us facsimiles of the real thing. You will notice that Palin and family are today richer than they ever could have legitimately become serving in public office. A large part of her money came from people like me who wanted to help her fight the two-minute hate machine, which in the least would be the chivalrous thing for us to do.

Never forget that Orwell made it clear in 1984 that the opposition to Big Brother was an institution taken over and run by the inner party.
So when Palin became the first to call out Obamacare's Independent Payment Advisory Board as death panels, I was perplexed. My readers know I was aware of these things long before she called them out. And I would have been delighted if any other national personality had called attention to them.  But Sarah Palin, having long been serving as our Soviet-Style Media's two minute hate object, pretty much made her the worst, counter-productive choice for sounding such an alarm.

So when the news comes out that Howard Dean, of all people, acknowledges that Palin was correct, Howard Dean admits Sarah Palin was right on ‘death panels,’ I hope you understand what I meant by "Our enemies know what we like, and are clever enough to provide us facsimiles of the real thing."

It's been a liberal trick that was noticeable since Archy Bunker was created by the radical Leftist Norman Lear.  Bunker was given lines that spoke little truths now and then, but always in all the wrong ways. The character was created specifically to discredit anything he said because he said it. Thus Bunker provided liberal wags ways to avoid answering all conservative arguments by turning them into personal attacks "why, you sound like Archy Bunker."

Same thing here. "Death Panels? You sound like Sarah Palin, Haw haw." And no further discussion ensued. Until today.

And so what? Obamacare has been passed in part because the most antihuman part of it was laughed out of the discussion. It was there, but dismissed. The means of dismissing it was diabolical. And it worked.

So now you know how this was done disreputably, do we still have a chance to stop it? Yes, but it is a long shot.

The House of Representatives can, on its own, derail the ACA implementation by refusing to fund it. But whether House Speaker John Boehner is just another SKUNC or merely a weakling, it matters little. It will take some very loud voices to force him to comply with your wishes. If there were many more like my readers, the derailment might actually happen. But I just don't see it right now short of Divine intervention.

Still, do whatever you can. So many people you know who are still unaware are facing a very grim and unnecessary death.
