Laugh Your Butts Off At Rare Equanimity Under Media Pressure

I found this such a treat I had to share it here.

Time and again the interviewer tries to put words in his mouth and set other traps. And each time he laughs and sets the record straight. He simply won't be trapped. Not that day.

This was done so well, it is hard to imagine it how it could be staged. Still, could be.

And they didn't even give him good makeup. He looks a bit like death warmed over. Yeah, the grim reaper to this scalp-hunting but silly woman (no doubt trying to take him down as her back room was hoping).

Cross-posted at Crusader Rabbit. There are many good comments there.

LMAO Update: Watch: Cathy Newman’s catastrophic interview with Jordan Peterson

If I was Channel 4 I would take it down. If I was Cathy Newman I would sue or seek a super-injunction. I don’t think I have ever witnessed an interview that is more catastrophic for the interviewer.

Social Justice Cretins

I've been through this before. Over two decades. Most who will read the following will be wont to tell himself that there is nothing he can do to fight against the hegemony of the predominant media. Yet Donald Trump succeeded at it.

Don't you get it yet? He was smart enough to read you, and bold enough to heed what you have been writing on the web for the last 25 years, and he made it his message.

Do you think it's only a Trump who could dent the SSM's influence? Dammit men -- it's been you all along! Don't stop now!

I'm compelled to write this because I've had my fill of reading sentences with the acronym SJW (social justice warrior) in them. I don't care if the term drips irony given the alleged pacifist predilections of the creeps to which it refers. The Left Sinister has no sense of humor, is immune to sarcasm, cannot be shamed, won't even call out each other for murder, so why would they do it for inconsistency and hypocrisy? The very same thing for which they've been trying to bring Trump down on treason charges  -- collusion and money laundering with the Russians to influence the last election -- they've been caught doing themselves. And now they don't want to talk about it. They could not have sunk any lower. (Well, let me not underestimate them yet).

So are we entertaining ourselves with mild ironies, and at that ones that only we acknowledge? Self-pleasuring is still not highly regarded no matter what the Cultural Marxists have been scheming to convince your children of.

Thus I am finding it hard to take seriously most opponents of the "Social Justice" Cretins (SJC) when they still use the SJW designation rather than SJ anything else.

Look I get it. In part it's lazy, in part it's despair. But the consequences of its continued use will be worse than it becoming clichéd.

If I fail to make a strong enough case, you all will continue to feel compelled to use SJW because everyone knows to what sort of creeps SJW refers. But amongst themselves they look at it as a badge of honor — the same always inconsistent idiots who claim waging war is a bad thing even as they now rejoice when one of theirs, wearing a mask, slugs one they believe is one us with a bike lock. And that was only the start, because their behavior and self-aggrandizement have gotten bolder and worse.

I'm sorry if I'm repeating many of my points, but they are significant.

Initially I could see any who opposed them using the term warrior for them in a sarcastic manner. But if there is anything that the SJCretins are consistent about it’s their lacking any sense of humor. Sarcasm and other civilized means of contradictory rhetorical style is wasted on them. Only outright insults in return for the insults they hurl makes any sense nowadays — in fact that’s what conservatives detest about the GOPe types with their insistence we not call the opposition all the sinister terms they deserve. And now their behavior has been revealed to be far in excess of worthy of insult. Treason is a legitimate charge. And I'm only asking that you engage in fitting insults for the less than treasonable useful idiots of the treasonous.

Calling a spade a spade is not only what Trump supporters like the most about Trump, it is also what those who have been luke warm about him give him credit for.

Look the SJWC is a relatively new group. Don’t let them over time ruin the good and noble word warrior with it being connected to them. Don’t let them wear the badge dishonorably as the Progs and Libs with their preferred labels have simply because the SSM has long permitted them those labels.

Both the Progs and libs have an agenda that is diametrically opposed to the longer words associated with them. Progs are the opposite of progressive with their post modernist, critical theory, PC tyrannies they’ve been cooking us with, and the Libs encourage government freedom (tyranny) that constrains individuals (anti-liberty).

Please join me in creating a common parlance that contains a nasty designation for these rotten pukes. Social Justice Cretins doesn’t have to be it. Something, anything else. I’m warning you, over time they will erase the meaning of warrior just at the old meaning of gay can never be reclaimed. Simply don’t allow them SJW any longer. Please!

Put Down the Resentful; Stay Happy

The consequences of resentments are rarely explored. Shakespeare did it once; Othello was a tragedy.

I've been a flawed man all my life; and now I can add old and worn-out to my excuses for imperfection. Be there anyone who ought to thank God for the happiness He has graced me with, it is I. Consequently I fret that I fail to show adequate thanks and faith when I don't speak out, as at least one of my acquaintances demurs, because of those dear held hostage by the more powerful. Anyone who justifies their silence about wrongs they see as being "for the children" is drowning his conscience for short-term gains -- even where not delusional -- at the cost of tossing away liberty and justice to secure the long-term.

If what follows is less than a thorough examination of the resentful and those driven by resentment, it is far better that I try to convince you poorly that this is a matter of grave importance than for me to throw up my hands in frustration and stay silent.

Resentful people at all levels of society, but particularly at its highest levels, have gotten away with murder for far too long. What they murder is peace. Peacefulness allows for the pursuit of happiness by the widest number of people. Happiness, as I'm inferring, is the thing that the unhappy resent the most.

Most all translations of the Ten Commandments have errors in them. Most common among them is the way the 6th is often presented. The correct translation is don't murder, not don't kill.  After seeing so much damage brought on by covetousness, I'm almost certain the 10th commandment's listing of only material items not to covet is in error. On the other hand most translations end with "thou shalt not covet anything that is thy neighbors." Thus intangible things your neighbor may own, such as momentary happiness, appear to be included. (I only wish it was among the tangible things that were listed so that it was clearer.)

It seems to me that perhaps the single most important thing never to covet is happiness. Perhaps the biggest reason for this is that there are as many causes for happiness as there are individuals. Unless one is completely deranged, one who aims to destroy of the happiness of another gains nothing. And the problem I'm highlighting is that there seems to be a lot of derangement being nurtured by the even more despicable.

And this brings me to why I am writing this screed. Social Justice is a lie designed to reverse what are justly held possessions and steal portions under cover of smarmy words, claiming the intent to give them to those who have less. These perpetrators claim to be contemporary Robin Hoods, but they are doing to today's legal owners what scoundrel medieval English nobility had done so that Robin Hood had to steal it back to give it to the rightful owners.

Today, as things become ever more unpleasant by interjecting politics into every aspect of life, the rogues and their ever increasing numbers of henchmen plus the usual large number of useful idiots begin to have an ever worse impact on everyone's happiness. They have made it their goal to not let anyone enjoy anything as long as someone somewhere may not be content. Lots of people see it as madness. That's become the common and cavalier way of refusing to acknowledge the evil content of most any threat. Rather than fight evil, they willingly judge the perpetrator(s) as simply mad much as our courts do when deciding not to indict for trial someone deemed insane. It's hard to discern when it is cowardice or laziness that accounts for this. It is certainly not a responsible response.

Echoing what Jordan Peterson said in the video central to my post of last week, those who claim to be seeking social justice for all the best of reasons are effectively lying thieves. It only makes matters worse when they have permitted themselves to believe the lie. So many useful idiots, so few gallows.

For an awful example of a believer in "social justice": those who expressed satisfaction that the targets of the Las Vegas mass killer two days ago were country-music concert goers -- and thus likely "Repugnics" -- are the type who only wish for unhappiness on others to equal their own. Equality seeking at its most low.

Add to that that so few on the Left Sinister raised a voice in protest to such gross and truly repugnant public statements, and it drives home my point. The most virulent of the Social Justice Cretins (SJCs -- I refuse to call them warriors) are evil, exhibiting the most extreme meaning of the word sinister with which all the Left are rightfully tinged.

The most reprehensible, of course, are the one who get the ball rolling with the propaganda networks. They stoke dissatisfaction, always for their own sinister purposes. A formerly happy person can be made unhappy when they have reason to fear destruction of their happiness. And that makes the Sinister happy.

Iago did that to Othello. Out of resentment for being passed over he sought revenge by fabrications intended to make Othello jealous that his wife was having an affair with the lieutenant whose promotion initiated Iago's scheming for revenge.

The well-healed in our society are quite well aware of the kind of resentment and the bad consequences portrayed in that particular play. Iago even turns to the audience to explicitly guide the less than bright on how to implement such a scheme. Thus they know how to do it, and full well see the kind of tragedy that can befall a society that is constantly encouraged to covetousness and the envy and jealousies that follow. In my opinion the risk is too great that they must intend for it to be.

I have struggled to write this well enough that more will be convinced that the danger is too high that I am right. I hope it helps the rising generation punish as never before those who either seek to gain temporary happiness at the expense of others, or when unsuccessful, attempt to ruin the happiness of everyone else out of spiteful jealousy.  But the most important thing for this generation -- or any other for that matter -- is to always be skeptical enough to be wary of people who peddle dissatisfaction. Thus gladly enjoy your happiness to spite their worst attempts to ruin it.

Oh they may promise you Utopia if you but heed their siren calls. But remember this about Sir Thomas More when he wrote his novel. He knew it was a lie, and hence the translation of Utopia is "no place." My favorite proof that Utopia is allegedly the place where everyone is happy. But if that were so, where would the misanthropes and practical jokers be? Their little secret is that the practical jokers convince large numbers to go there, and only after there do they discover that the misanthropes are running the place.

On the bright side, there seems to be a meme on resentment making the rounds. Since I published Vengeance of the Power Elites Pleases Satan, I stumbled across emissions at two other blogs, Declination and  Liberty's Torch, who wrote about the resentful and resentments of the kind needing to be battled much more severely. I spotted a third too, but lost it.

The first of these was inspired by a comment Dystopic received, so that makes 3 people in a short time span. What caused me to notice the first blog piece was that the commenter could have been quoting what Jordan Peterson said in the video published only a couple of weeks ago (Sept 12, 2017), but didn't credit him. All innocent enough because it could simply be that Professor Peterson himself had not started the ball rolling. He simply rang a bell that resonated well with a lot of thoughtful people, and many more heard it because of his renown had risen in great part due to him having been a publicized target of the SJWCs.

So I consider it good that the dangerous emotion known as resentment is getting more attention today. But the attention given it so far doesn't appear to do to much more than provide one more reason to distrust those in power and those seeking it. And that's an old distrust, at least to the political Right of this contemporary world.

What I'm advocating -- and this is different from the others who've dealt with the resentment meme -- is an offensive move in behalf of righteousness for the sake for happiness itself, and not solely to protecting material gains and property (true justice in law) as the SJC would have the world believe.

Those who are unhappy for any reason should not be permitted to destroy, without comeuppance, whatever happiness us poor souls can enjoy. It's long past time for such an offensive to be mounted against them and the rulers and would-be rulers who gain by their demands. The value you place on life hangs in the balance.

Throwing the Election to the Prog Advancers

[The following was revised on late on March 5, 2016 to improve clarity.]
(When you finish below, here is Part II.)
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles."-- Sun Tzu

John McCain and Mitt Romney could have won the presidency. But neither man railed against the past of Barack Obama. And Romney also failed to rail against Obama's 4 year record,  a sure loser of a strategy given that it was Obama's record which cost the Democratic party control of the House of Representatives in the elections of 2010.

So half the voters never heard word one from the opposition candidates about the downside and risks of electing and reelecting Obama president. The majority of voters were left not knowing important details about the man who would wreak havoc on them by waging legal, economic and regulatory war on them. The larger majority were left uninformed by the very men they expected to inform them, and so they did not know their enemy.

And so America (as an idea in an historic sense) lost the last two political battles waged to fundamentally change her.

But did Americans really know themselves? More to the point, did Americans really know the character and intentions of her leaders selected to waging war against the fundamental transformers? Who would have chosen either McCain or Romney in their respective primaries knowing the kind of campaigns they would later run? Knowing more about either candidate might have better informed primary voters so that better candidates could have been considered.

I say "might have" because it's not all that clear even today that either men or the Establishment they represent really (given how that establishment has behaved these last 7 years) wanted them to do anything differently.

IOW, just as prize fighters have been known to throw fights, why not political leaders? Especially now that it well known that both party establishments work pretty much with the same lobbyists.

Furthermore, the 2014 elections that increased the GOP control of the House and won control of the Senate on the promise that "THEN WE CAN AFFECT CHANGE" has nevertheless -- disappointingly -- affected nothing in the advancement of the Prog (builders of the ruling class) agenda.  Borders more porous than ever. Obamacare funded via continuing resolutions despite promises not to. No resistance to the nomination of the radical Loretta Lynch to be AG. The list of thrown fights is endless.

Because of this Americans have come to recognize how much the GOP is hardly the opposition party we had expected it to be. Subsequently the acronym, GOPe -- GOPe(stablishment) -- has become the most common of pejorative words that express our disappointment with how the opposition isn't.

And I'm saying, if the GOPe has proven to throw fights on individual issues, why not conclude that they've been throwing the fights for the top job?

Now here is the most important graf of this short post. The GOPe still controls the banner under which Americans wage political war against her internal enemy.

So America. How much do you know yourself and know who is claiming to be your leader in the battle coming in November?

KNOW YOURSELF!

Red States May Expel Blue Ones

The movement to use Article V of the United States Constitution in order to rein in the excesses of the federal government appears to be gathering steam.

There may still be some difficulty in making headway with the new Amendments that would result. That is because 38 (3/4 of 50) states must ratify them. Too many blue states suggests we may have a problem getting the Amendments adopted.

So I was wondering if we could do to the blue states what their colleges campuses seem to be able to do with students whom they deem to be politically incorrect. Expel them. And we have the Left's own rules by which we could compel their expulsion. Alinsky Rule number 4. Look it up.

Meet Another Fighter of the Sus Worshipers

Thanks to our friend Ed, I was made aware of another man, Alec Satin, who is fighting the Sustainability worshipers.
The idea of destroying large groups of people is nothing new. Stalin killed 20 million. Mao killed 40 million. It shouldn’t surprise you that there are people on earth right now who want to kill you. To a spiritual eugenicist, you are part of a less-evolved humanity which is no longer needed. You are a burden on the limited resources of the earth.

The morality of genocide

There is always a kind of false religion involved in mass murder. Eugenicists and transhumanists have a fanatic drive to advance evolution through science. Homo Sapiens must yield to Homo Noeticus who will be the true Aryan übermensch. By definition this means that the old man must make way for the new. -- The slow purge

Read the whole thing because he includes many more bits of evidence.

I responded to him mostly as follows (but now edited of typos and to improve clarity).

In 2006, after years of vacillation, I finally laid out  what I observed as compelling many people seated at the highest levels of government influence to hate the Judeo-Christian moral code. [An non-archived version that still accepts comments is here.] You [Alec] have almost stated how deeply seated the hatred is.

Here’s a short peek.

In the enemy’s camp are people who have been convinced through indoctrinating propaganda that the enemy’s view is inevitable, that at some point the planet must run out of resources and there is no way to recover them. So they go along as true believers.

Therefore those who have faith that G_d will always provide for his creatures have a major battle on their hands. The reason is the faithful will be largely battling people whose moral code is (they believe) selflessly based (saving humanity from itself) but lacking their faith (in G_d, or in words understood by optimistic non-faithful, the intelligence that nature gives many men to solve difficult problems). The ancient Sophists' word for  the true-believers was casuists. But the real enemy is the sophists -- those who employ specious reasoning for selfish ends. They are expert in the methods of exploiting well-intentioned people for nefarious gain. It is as at least as old as the time of Socrates who fought them and lost. The enemy has had long practice at this game and we have not.

Who can be saved and who must be fought and how to do it is the question the faithful must face. I do know that it is a sin -- falling far short of our commitments -- to allow the lies to accumulate and manifest into the megalomaniacal forces that are getting ever stronger. Yet large numbers of the faithful still turn their backs on the information you have reported today and against which I and others have fought for decades.

How deeply embedded is the enemy?

A statement that Pope Francis made in Bolivia in July, "we are not yet tearing one another apart" is hideous in its denial of three types of mayhem and murder currently afoot globally, was praised  by Bernie Sanders who exploits it in an advertisement for his campaign for president. It touches a subject that I've been laying out since the monstrous Planned Parenthood videos first surfaced. The Lord give me strength, I hope to complete it later today.

Journalists Openly Threatened By the Left

Newsmen and women, this headline speaks volumes.

The daily news was apparently chosen to send you all this not so veiled warning
‘you too, dear journolist, can be executed with our blessings should you stray from our demands.’

Can they've been more Stalinist than that?

If you as a group have a lick of sense would see this and start thinking about when you will join the resistance movement against tyranical big government while you still have the chance to fight back.

As you should know but can easily find out now that you see this threat, the Soviet gulag was full of your predecessors after those in power felt they knew too much or otherwise outlived their usefulness.

Both of these journalist victims were in their 20s. They maybe are too young for us to know how much they, like many millennials, are starting to lean conservative. For certain their killer seemed to have made up his mind they were too much to his right. And whatever the facts are in the killer's mind is irrelevant here because the Daily News is using the event to threaten the rest of you.

One more thing. Those who have not begun using the acronym SSM yet ought to start after seeing that headline.

GOPe/Dem Coalition is STILL Steering

US over a cliff.

The elections just completed proves that a large number of Americans have had enough of the radical agenda.

The problem is that the GOP is not really a conservative party. It's an amalgam of conservatives and Progs. And the Progs are in the leadership and control the agenda. The nicest acronym used to refer to them is GOPe (Republican portion of the Establishment). Readers of this blog know I deride RINO (Republican In Name Only) and prefer SKUNC (Statist Kooks Undermining our Nation's Constitution). Whatever label you use for the GOPe, every principled conservatives has felt how it hates them.

In each and every corner of America a discussion needs to begin today. More people need to know that whatever mischief the GOPe manages to pull off in the next cycle, it is not the fault of conservatives.

The aim of that discussion is to come up with ways to divert the Establishment's steering of our republic over the cliff.

I'm an old man and I'm quickly running out of steam. If you think this idea is worth pursuing, then please comment below. I cannot contribute my assets, limited though they may be, to this effort if I don't even know you really want to try.

How to Sue an Imperial President

I would have titled this "How Really to Sue an Imperial President," but blogger doesn't permit italics up there.
And I mean Really! As in: distinctly different from the posturing gesture made by John Boehner this week.

Short rundown first.
  • On Wednesday's show, Mark Levin spoke about John Boehner saying he was going to sue Obama for failing to faithfully execute the laws passed by Congress in violation of his oath of office.
  • Mr. Levin said that Cong. Boehner likely would not be granted standing. That he wished it were different, but that the bar would be very hard to overcome.
  • Upon hearing that, I recalled that in 1997, shortly after Pres. Bill Clinton signed the line item veto that Congress had passed, Sen. Robert Byrd had immediately filed suit to stop it. I did not recall the details, but it is a fact that shortly thereafter the line item veto was indeed overturned by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional.
  • So the next day, while Mr. Levin was in his monologue about why the SCOTUS ruling about the appointments clause was a Trojan Horse,  I called his show to ask him if there was not something to be learned in the line item veto case about how to sue the President successfully for his extra-constitutional legislating.

The first clip was my laying the premise in order to get to the idea. He corrects a key mistaken assumption I had made, but he then patiently goes on to let me finally get my point across -- How was the line-item veto overturned and what can you learn from that?
CLICK ---> Clip 1 (~8 minutes long)
The second clip shows where it has dawned on Levin how my follow-up response to his answer was the exactly right way to move such a case forward.
CLICK ---> Clip2 (~2 minutes long)
The third clip is where Levin summarized what he's been thinking and it's got him gleefully hoping he gets a chance to bring the case to trial.
CLICK ---> Clip3 (~3 minutes long)
I must say it was very gratifying for me to have him respond so well once my idea hit home. Especially so because there was a moment there where I was afraid I was going to blow my chance to get my point across.
And I am particularly grateful to Ed Bonderenka for extracting the clips from the full podcast so I could present them in this shortened form.

Projection: "Soviet-Style" Being Used by Media Itself

Regular readers know that I've been waging a campaign for new media to habitually label the Obama endorsing and protecting Mainstream Media (MSM) as Soviet-Style Media (SSM).

But now the media, itself recognizing that my charges against them are warranted, has decided to use the term Soviet-style as it sees fit. By applying the attribute to others they hope to avoid having the label applied to themselves.

Well, I hope you all understand my frustration here. With the notable exception of Nemesis, nobody else has taken on the media for their Soviet-style behavior by that name.

Ok, here's the evidence, both appearing today.

First Mark Levin (frequently a TEA Party supporter, but hardly one of us) tweeted his facebook entry (with the fb extra length included in brackets):
Even government radio is frustrated with government propaganda. Obama manages the press the way the old Soviet [dictators did.]
and my reply to him (unanswered) was:

Then there was this tweet by Drudge of his  headline  Media attacks 'Soviet-style' publicity policy... but that happens to be the headline from and link to the mainstream Telegraph. So naturally, I repeated my challenge of Levin to Drudge "C'mon Matt...."

I repeat that challenge to the whole of the dextropshere. (If nothing else, go to those replies to Levin and Drudge and retweet them so that those guys get the sense that we are serious.)

Dare to be leaders. It is hardly difficult to state the obvious behavior of our pols and our media. I know that it is hard to be the first; but new nobility is needed. Many more of us can dare calling every twist and turn accurately so that others like us feel comfortable with calling things as they appear in reality.

The media has not yet gotten into full projection mode. If you delay, others will delay too. The media will shortly be calling others what they are themselves if you fail. They may do it anyway, but you can point to my blog entries and our side at least will know the truth.

Envy As Admitted Federal Policy

Unbelieveably, the essence of Marxist class warfare, envy and its exploitation, was admitted today by "one of the prime architects of both the Massachusetts healthcare reform and the Affordable Care Act, Professor of economics at MIT, Jonathon Gruber." [source]

"That means that the genetic winners, the lottery winners who've been paying an artificially low price because of this discrimination now will have to pay more in return."

Sickening. Coveting the health of your neighbor is now fair game in contemporary America. Essentially this: 'If you are healthy, you deserve to be handicapped, and we have the power to do it to you.' You first Dr. Gruber.

Incidental report from the street:
I hear from soft-headed liberals who have been repeating the nonsense that gets aired repeatedly on SSM TV such as MSNBC declare that conservatives are anti-American because they disagree with President Obama. This revelation will not faze them in the least.

The real problem:
What is more of a problem are the conservative talkshow hosts who refuse to call this president a Marxist. And you know the old Leftist slogan -- "no enemies on the left." That would explain a great deal why talkers like Michael Medved and others at Salem broadcasting regularly call out others on the Right as traitors to the GOP before they'll call out Leftists as traitors to America. Or traitors to common decency. Or traitors to JudeoChristian ethics (thou shall not covet) such as this genius Gruber.

One Solution:
We of the TEA Party movement need to disassociate ourselves from the "Rightists" on the Marxist political spectrum of Left and Right. Let me repeat Ronald Reagan's vision for you.
There is no such thing as a left or right. There's only an up or down: up to man's ages-old dream, the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism.

I am not on the Right any longer. There are too many Downs over there. I'm with the Ups.

To Hell with Downs like Medved, Hewitt, Prager, and anyone else who thinks like them. They are unfit company for people who need to recognize and fight all the enemies of freedom.

Australians Teaching Americans What to Seek

h/t Crusader Rabbit.

Somehow the Aussies were able to overpower the propaganda stream of the ABC, their govt funded SSM, and threw out the Leftist PM Gillard. Now they have elected a non-collectivist parliament and Prime Minister quite contrary to what we have here in America.

It proves what can be done if common people learn to band together -- no matter their other differences -- for the sake of their very lives.

Now, dear God protect the new movement and its leaders from both lethal enemies and the allure of, and traps set by, those who ply evil ways.

SHOCK! -- An Open Ended Survey

Dear Readers.

I received a survey request (filled in below) from the Media Research Center (MRC). Initially I was expecting just another multiple choice form that misses many of the key issues of the day. Much to my delight, this one actually had, in addition to MRC's preferred topics,  "other" as choices. And what was even more special, MRC provided a space in which to spell out the other choice(s).

Burned out naif that I am, I have my doubts they will actually read what I put in the boxes. I know, many of you think I must be crazy again for even trying. But yes, while I still breathe, I will always try.

FYI: I have another post in the works providing evidence that MRC may not be all that it tries to convince us it is. They know how to ask money from us to do more of what they want; but when it came to answering the knocks at their door so they might listen to us, it seemed that, time and again, nobody was home.

Should they show some gonads here and actually respond as one expects of normal, decent human beings, I will have no need to publish it.

But right now, let me urge you to try to do what I did as shown below. Maybe, just maybe, we will actually affect Brent Bozelle's thinking, and he'll begin to listen to us more instead of simply telling us what he thinks is important. If you would like to participate, drop me a line and I'll forward you the email. Or if you don't want to hear more about while they want you to do this for them, just click this link.

Media Research Center. America's
Media Watchdog

We Must Hear from You . . . Please Take This Survey!

With so many ongoing scandals and the outrageous media censorship we're seeing in response, the Media Research Center needs your feedback and advice more than ever. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this quick survey. It will be an integral part of our strategy moving forward.

Our lack of a unified, anti-Statist party

Media's role in misleading Americans

Showing all MSM does not provide or misinforms about

Fix your tips & emails so it works! Enough with the mailer-daemons. You are leaving the impression you don't give a damn. Be more responsive!
6. If you could send a message to the American media, what would it be?
Americans have overall had a better life than subjects or citizens of other nations because they have been more free.

Stop your disinformation campaigns that aids the destruction of our liberties (as Pravda & Izvestia abetted the oppression of Soviet subjects). We know why many of you do so. We've heard it.  It is your elitist view that it is only right that common Americans should have a better understanding of how bad other peoples have it.

That sort of "equality" helps no human being other than the monsters who have risen to rule their peoples.

This is really something you can do without too much trouble. So please consider doing something similar. The MRC may simply ignore what you fill in, but please recognize that
we are rarely given such an opportunity.

Take advantage of it as I have.

Help Instill Fresh Thinking at Breitbart.com

Once again I am disturbed by our side bashfully counter-attacking members of Establishment media.

This time it is this story: LA Times Claims 'Democrats Led Passage' of 1964 Civil Rights Act.

There is nothing wrong with this headline. It's the opening line that I find lame (emphasis added).
In a stunning historical error, Los Angeles Times reporters Kathleen Hennessey, Richard Simon, Alexei Koseff reported that "Democrats led the passage of civil rights legislation that marchers pushed for in 1963."

Here is the comment I left.
Never presume that such nonsense is an error. Declare it the brazen act of a media that models itself on the USSR's Pravda and Izvestia. It is a media that has used, and will increasingly use, the techniques of Joseph Goebbels.

You do not fight back by making excuses for your enemy. You demonstrate the pattern every chance they give you; build a mountain of evidence; and then convict them in the court of public opinion with the Preponderance of Evidence.

The LA Times is a major outlet of what people still call the mainstream media (MSM). It really is a major leader in getting us accustomed to a Soviet-Style Media (SSM). Our freedoms depend upon us calling them SSM each time they pass out mis- and dis-information.

Is Breitbart.com really the living testament to its founder? Then BE Breitbart. Be careful as you can, but DO NOT soften the charges.

As of this writing, it has garnered 2 votes. Please go there and add to it. Help me build some backbones there (if it is not already too late at that institution. So many of our institutions get co-opted quickly nowadays, it should not surprise anybody if it has gone over.)

Updated to note that a commenter there named Molly posted a similar idea 20 minutes after I did. I noticed because she was one of the thumbs up. She now has 6 thumbs up to my 3. I don't care really who gets the votes, just so long as more editors at Breitbart.com begin to approve more stories that sound like Andrew Breitbart and not Michael Medved.

More TEA Party Betrayal

Today's episode is headlined at Breitbart.
Surrender: Ohio Gov. Kasich Spurns Tea Party, Backs Obamacare Medicaid Expansion; Left Celebrates .

John Kasich. Once a creature of DC (which also stands for death cult, but who notices?), always a creature of DC. Probably because the ones that remain still have handles on you.

The former Congressman and former Fox commentator and current governor could not help himself. It’s in his nature to betray those who believed him.

I took the opportunity to introduce some readers at Breitbart.com to the SKUNC acronym. One of the Lefty trolls there (and it could be a sock-troll since "Gary" seems to be a regular pest) somehow "corrected" me by misreading my definition and redoubling what I said. So natch I played it straight with my response.

Sequence begins.

  • thunder2984
When push comes to shove, 90% of "Republicans" are RINOs.

  • Pascal
RINO is too good a term. Since they all think of themselves as Platonic elitist republicans, they laugh at the term.

They won't laugh at being called traitors, but that may need to be proven.

Until that time, SKUNC fits.

Statists Knowingly Undermining National Charters fits all those in the formerly Western culture countries who are elected allegedly to represent (allegedly) those who voted for them.

To spell out the globalist connection more clearly, SKUNC can also be thought to mean Scoundrels Kneeling to United Nations Control.

RINO is simply too easy on them. These stinkers have earned the label SKUNC.
Okay SKUNC, but wouldn't Statists prefer as opposed to try to undermine National Charters. I'm confused.

And there is precisely NO United Nations Control going on to be a feared of. That is just propaganda you have chosen not to see through.

  • Pascal
Gary, the Statist forces in the United States have been doing everything they can to hollow out the constitution which is written to limit their power in very many ways. Hence, those who want power need to undermine and ultimately cancel out the importance of the national charter of the USA.

Rove Begins the Split of the GOP

The Establishment Republicans have finally decided it's gonna be them alone without anyone else I guess. Who made Karl Rove King of the GOP?

Rove Declares War On the TEA Party.
“biggest donors in the Republican Party [coincidentally includes many of the biggest donors to the Democratic Party]” have joined forces with Karl Rove and Steven J. Law, president of American Crossroads, to create the Conservative Victory Project. ...this new group will dedicate itself to “recruit seasoned candidates and protect Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts who Republican leaders worry could complicate the party’s effort to win control of the Senate.”

If that title seems a bit raw, you ain't seen nothing yet. Here's Ace on the subject:

The Establishment Strikes Back: Rove Group To Put Money Into Protecting And Promoting Party Favorites From Tea Party Kooks.
So, the same donor group that closed ranks behind Mitt Romney and helped shut out credible challengers has decided that fresh off that success, they are ready to pick candidates for the Senate.

What could go wrong?

And if that isn't enough for you, you'll surely get your fill by listening to the first half hour of Mark Levin today.  Some excerpts
  • I would tell independents and republicans and conservatives and right of center people: you are a target right now. You are target by the Republican Establishment, the RINOs [the SKUNCs] in Washington DC. Because these people really do not believe in reestablishing constitutional government. These people really don't believe in capitalism. They're leaders in the fight for crony capitalism.
  • I want you to remember that when George W Bush was president and controlled both houses of Congress for 6 of his 8 years, the Republicans in the congress and the Republican in the white house were out of control. We'd never seen spending like that in human history.... We did not take a single step in this country towards advancing free market capitalism. We did not take a single step in this country towards reestablishing constitutional government. We have to be honest with ourselves or we cannot effectively address this. [In that last sentence he sounds like me.]
  •  But the worst problem right now, from a political organizing and political strategic point of view, isn't even Obama; it's the Republican Establishment -- the RINOs [the SKUNCs] -- who are trying to hold on to power. Who are trying to hold on to the largesse that they get from the growing federal leviathan.... These are the people we are up against. These are the people we are up against. [sic] ...The parasite class I call them. They no more believe in liberty and capitalism and limited government than the people we're battling. Those are platitudes for these people.
  • Here we are folks, looking into the abyss; hanging on by a thread as a society. Our biggest problem is Barack Obama, and we're being stabbed in the back. Listen to the name this group assigns itself: "The Conservative Victory Project." So here's a project funded by crony capitalists, funded by corporatists, who are not conservative, funding a group called the conservative victory project. This is the sort of thing Obama does, that Marxists do. They give a name to themselves that really has nothing to do with what they're up to in order to try and control the propaganda. To position themselves. "Oh, you're against the conservative victory project." And then you have to spend ten minutes explaining why they're not the conservatives why you are. I'm just showing you how diabolical this is.

Oh, find the time to listen to the first 30 minutes or so. He is well voiced and you'll enjoy it while you learn good talking points.

Conclusion:
Add this threat to your control of the opposition party to what I published on February 1: the long-delayed news (30 years!) that the GOP deliberately has not fought to protect our votes against Democratic Party fraud. I think you have a quite enough already in the recipe for abandoning the GOP in total and moving on to the next steps with the zeal that begot the TEA Party.

Overspecialization and Misanthropy

A blind nut finds a squirrel now and then. It looks like an observation I left at NRO yesterday rang a few bells there. So far my comment has received 7 thumbs up, and that pleases me. I have already added it to my annual Gorehog Day contempt post, but in hindsight its message deserves more than to be an add-on to some throw-away humor.

Jonah Goldberg had waxed eloquently about the movie "Groundhog Day" nearly a decade ago, and has seen fit to republish it each year on February 2. This was the first year I'd read it, and it struck me that he'd missed something I thought I should share with his audience, and as I implied above, it seems to have struck a harmonious chord there.

I could not help but notice how Goldberg's examination (as have myriad others who've discussed the movie) somehow missed out on one deeper ramification of Bill Murray's character due to him becoming so well versed in so many skills and trades and professions. Knowledge that he was compelled to learn only from all the locals for whom he had nothing but disdain before his nightmare began. There was something more there than him solely transforming from the  the soulless, smart-Alec, weatherman celebrity. The movie provided, maybe unwittingly, what may be an insight as to why someone like him could be transformed.

You might want to consider that Phil Connors has essentially become a Renaissance man by the end of the film. His postmodernist cynicism that accompanies celebrities in particular (famous for usually some specialty, or even for only being well-known) is finally vanquished by him no longer being a narrow specialist.

By engaging in depth in all those other activities, he trashes the contempt our society implies in its appellation "Jack of all trades." After he picks up all that additional depth, we see he begins to respect and love those who are now colleagues of a sort. Most noticeably supplanted is the casual contempt Phil had for others ("hicks") that so many like his former self display towards those who are not a part of ones narrow circle. That is a true love that is apparently vacant in those at the top of our contemporary world.

Those who miss or reject this additional concept really are missing the key on how it is possible to learn love of mankind. In a world where Sustainability is becoming even more worshiped than money, such an outlook offers an antidote.

Heh! "I Thought You Were Smarter Than That"

  1. Pascal on 13/13/13 at 11:52 pm

I’ve long asserted that it’s obviously good business for those who love government to protect the criminal in a variety of ways. The more criminal activity there is, the more excuses are available to increase government power – ostensibly, of course, “to protect the public.”

You now find that a Lefty rag has actually aided and abetted criminal activity, and you are shocked? I thought you were smarter than that.

Back last August I posted about The Most Dreadful Phrases. And today I chose to use one of those phrases when I left the above comment at JWF's Home on Journal News Gun List Burglarized, Gun Safe Targeted.

So what's the reason for my "Heh" in the post title that introduced my closing phrase in the above comment?

Because I really wasn't aiming my comment at Jammie, nor even at the state senator he quoted.

My comment "I thought you were smarter than that" was aimed at the American citizen. You who either believe that all the folks in government are well meaning public servants; or you who fail to drive the point home to family and friends that:
  • everyone in public office must be kept on a short leash and never ever trusted out of our sight.
  • And as far as protecting the public goes -- remember that they will always protect themselves first until proven differently in each and every instance.
  • Previous good performance is no guarantee of future good behavior.

Furthermore. Remember the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. That one is not solely about your rights; not that one. It actually implies you Mr. and Ms. American have a major responsibility.

You've got a call on the red phone.
The Social Contract is calling.

More Breitbarting Please

I imagine many of us who miss Andrew Breitbart would really wish that Breitbart.com initiated more projects such as its founder was known to get into. No, not find someone on staff who is as ballsy as was Andrew. Probably impossible even to hire someone who is both as bold and as intellectually honest and consistent all perhaps only exceeded by his courage.

No, what I'm thinking is along the lines of what I did with that billboard in Cleveland in which the billboard company, Clear Channel, caved to the demands of the radicals who apparently don't want voter fraud suppressed. What Clear Channel did in the end was worse than caving actually. They put up 15 new billboards that read "Voting Is a Right, Not a Crime."

As it turned out, after I posted here what I thought should have been Clear Channel's response to the city council, I went back to the Breitbart.com post and added my comment along with a link and a thumbnail jpeg of my altered billboard. It is now the 88th of 88 comments, the last one. It still got 6 likes It's slowly grown over the 3 days since I posted it.

Thinking about how Breitbart might have reacted to the suspect motives of the Cleveland city council and (take your pick) the fear or complicity of Clear Channel, he might have come up with this billboard to show how Clear Channel should have responded to the political pressure. http://preview.tinyurl.com/wha...

If hope you like what I did too. But more importantly: if you wish the folks at Breitbart.com to present more editorial comments like the one I gave them, then please go to the comment and click on "Like." Then hopefully the current editors will get the idea that they ought to do more of that sort of thing. You could even add a comment that says so explicitly. To find my comment, simply go here and then at the top right of the comments click on "sort by newest first" so that mine is at the top. Then click on "like."

Thank you.

I'm pretty confident that putting up a real "in your face" billboard such as I suggested is what Breitbart would do. He relished that sort of thing.  Doing virtual stuff on the web site that bears his name seems like fitting homage to its founder.

Well, That's Some Relief

I am happy to report that Ace came through with

Now Prosectutor Angela Corey Is Deceptively Editing-- Cutting Out Key Parts of Zimmerman's Wife's Testimony To Make It Sound Perjurious.

It's time to fire her. Her intent here is obvious: She cannot win the trial and she knows it. Nevertheless, she feels she needs scalps -- some jailtime -- to either prevent riots or make her career, or both.

So she's pressuring Zimmerman, by both her absurd overcharging of Murder Two and now a threat to jail his wife, by throwing a trumped-up perjury charge against her.

It's time for her to go.

Yay! Has anyone else out there made a point of explaining (as I have tried to do here) how Angela Corey and the Florida justice system have trampled George Zimmerman's rights under the 8th Amendment without a peep from the media and civil rights attorneys (assuming such news hasn't been suppressed by the Agency of Lies.)

Now get the significance of this news Dear Readers if it is true as reported at the link above to Bob Owens.

I'm sure you all recall how NBC had edited that 911 call -- editing out key portions of the questions of the 911 operator -- so as to make it sound like George was a racist.

Well the special prosecutor here did the same damn thing, except NOT IN A NEWS REPORT. Angela Corey did that sort of edit in order to keep her charge of felony perjury on Sherrie Zimmerman from being thrown out of court. Do you see why Ace thinks Corey belongs behind bars yet? Then tell everyone you know. The lawlessness will surely grow unless light shines on it to send the like of Corey back under her rock.
