Fuel for Fires, Criminal Negligence, and Governor Brown

Governor Jerry Brown has been making headlines asserting global warming is to blame for the California fires.

I'm posting only because missing from the commentary is the recognition that removal of dead trees and brush from the public forests and grasslands has been made illegal by anyone not working for a state or federal agency.

Such good Samaritan husbandry was made illegal due to law suits brought by radical environmentalists.

Those suits were largely paid for by unaccountable non-profit foundations.
  • Any suits that landed in front of a judge who might rule against the suit would be dropped, and the costs absorbed.
  • The winning suits were heard before judges with whom the plaintiffs felt comfortable.
It is a practice that has a seedy sounding label: judge-shopping. This explains why large sources of money are needed for such assaults on normal decent behavior. It suggests such plaintiffs needs a judge whose penchant is less than that.

These suits were won even though the judges were warned that dry brush is fuel for wildfires, and that there are many people with the experience and ability to reduce such risks free of charge.

But the concerns for wild life, property and human life were all pushed aside. It's hard to call such judges liberal at times like this. If they had a bias, they should have recused themselves from the cases they heard. So perhaps such judges are less liberal and more Leftist?

In other times, times less under the control of Leftist sinister forces, concerns for human life outweighed whatever other arguments anyone could bring to court.

Today, not so much.

Yet even today, were you to let your backyard or empty lot grow uncontrolled, and left to dry out and unkempt, and then a fire breaks out on it -- you would be charged with criminal neglect.

So why isn't the government and its ruling held to the same standard? Why doesn't the press afflict the governor with questions about his comfort with the environmental rules as they stand?

Why does Governor Brown seek to lay the cause of wildfires purely at the door of alleged human caused climate change?

Why does Governor Brown not lay the blame at the door of those whom insisted that the fuel remain on public lands waiting only for the first spark to ignite it all?

Well perhaps its his guilty conscience. When Governor Brown failed even to utter a harsh word against the Green nutcases who forced public lands to be filled with tinder, he became guilty of criminal negligence, and he left those he is supposed to serve at grave risk.

Fighting the Establishment of an American State Religion -- Part 3

I wrote the text below the break on September 25, 2014 but I did not publish it. I was waiting for more developments to evolve that would help make it abundantly clear how dangerous it is not to fight such developments before they are fully formed. When climate guru RFK Jr. stated he wished there was a law he could punish his opponents with, I observed that it was good he could only wish.

However developments have moved on rapidly to erase that sense of security.

Today, on episode 4 of LevinTV.com, viewers heard this:

This clip ends with these words:
"To use our laws to criminalize politics, to use our laws to compel a belief system, is as tyrannical as is possibly imaginable."
It is significant that people who lay claim to a higher understanding of life with their atheistic lens, routinely deny acknowledging that a religion -- a belief system -- need not center on worship of a god.
Religion: a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.
Mr. Levin almost got to the point where he sees what I see. It sounds like he's edging to fight increasingly heavy-handed government efforts to protect Climate Change belief in a way that is in violation of the 1st Amendment. That Amendment bans the establishment of a state religion. This essay is written in hopes that the constitutional lawyer in him will latch on to the idea.

For easy reference, here are links to part 1 and part 2.

Between the Lines #2 [Cashing In On AGW]

From the news of "Monster" and "Worst Storm Evah" Hurricane Patricia.

The clock is ticking up to the moment that Mexico sues the United States for the damages caused by the hurricane.

The stage has already been set by the Progs and their climate fraudsters that American prosperity is the cause of greater and greater storms.

The thinking man will be wondering if this worst storm is really the worst on record because of all the lies about last summer being the hottest on record (when there's been no warming for nearly 2 decades). Alas, we know the SSM is not heeding the thinking man, and indeed is seeking to have him prosecuted.

That's what you can expect from reading today's headlines and reflecting back on all the CAGW staged preparations that preceded it.

It's the AGW Scammers Who Are the Deniers

To keep the scam running they deny all evidence that contradicts their "theory." How you can prove that it's a scam is laid out below.

When the proponents of anthropocentric climate change resolutely refuse to look at evidence that undermines their "theory,"  what you are witnessing is the rankest violation of the scientific method (a theory, however respected, becomes a failed hypothesis when contradicted by new evidence.)

It reveals that the proponents of the AGW theory are engaging in a sham at the best, and at worst are running out a monumental scam that, if left unchecked, can't help but lead to misery for uncountable millions of people (a goal that is even embraced by its proponents, so much so that they are indoctrinating our young into believing that such a future is their duty).

By extension, the continuation of this project appears to be leading to the deaths of billions of people by any means necessary. (Here's the latest on that score. Hat tip to Doug Evans by way of Alec Satin It's another example that what we are fighting is nothing less than a neopagan belief system that's quickly become an undeclared Nationally funded religion that runs contrary to the Judeo-Christianity upon which the nation was founded, and is about as fundamentally unconstitutional as any Federal action can get.)

When one couples this with the coincident political behavior of the rest of the Progs — their fomenting, fostering and protecting of cruel Islamic death cults world wide — we see that the Establishment's pattern of behavior is very consistent.

The following is only one example of a denier. While I've seen it many more times than this. this is the first time I've seen it in Congressional hearings (exposing the shamelessness of most other congressmen). Just in case it disappears from Youtube, it's title is "Sen. Cruz Questions Sierra Club President Aaron Mair on Climate Change."

After you hear Mr. Mair repeatedly say “We concur with the 97 percent scientific consensus with regards to global warming,” you must know that he is either a man fearful of running afoul of the scammers who fund his organization and pay his salary, or is a scammer himself.

Whichever he is, his position is the exact opposite of scientific. Relying upon a consensus of scientists that is 18 years old to justify new legislation while refusing to look at the new data — some provided even by scientists that comprised that consensus — is nonsense, is not science, and therefore must be driven by other forces not yet wishing to expose themselves.

Indeed, Mr. Mair's broken-record responses to all questions is reminiscent of the testimony by communist sympathizers in the HUAC hearings of the 1950s: "I refuse to answer on the grounds it might incriminate me."

What do Mr. Mair and countless others have to hide? When one peels away at that onion, more and more hideous things are exposed. Over the years I've exposed many of them elsewhere on this blog. Use the labels below to find a few. (I'm not the only one to have done this; but I may be the one who does it most consistently. G-d: I hope I'm wrong.)

Updates with links providing additional cause for concern.
  • "I dream of a world where the truth is what shapes people's politics, rather than politics shaping what people think is true." — Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) January 24, 2015 : wherein a Sustainability priest preaches his "truth." The rotten irony is that this scientist has purloined the very words of those who actually use the scientific method (the same people the judges above wish to outlaw). This Sus priest-celebrity has the advantage because he has been provided the bigger bully-pulpit. He is paid by the SSM to endlessly repeat his dogma, and his words then are used to indoctrinate new true believers and to bestow a glow of saintliness on the priest. Some merely charge him with colossal failure of self-awareness. In my opinion they in turn fail to see the gain for the priest in preempting his opponents. Many more naive will fall to the confidence men — "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matt 7:15) — wherever the defenders of truth are short-sighted or fail to fight back against the schemers with full force.

Climate change denial IS far worse than Holocaust denial.

One Response to “Salon: ‘Climate change denial is actually much worse than Holocaust denial’; How About ‘Climate holocaust co-conspirator’?”

  1. Pascal on 13/13/15 at 7:08 pm
It’s TRUE. Climate change denial IS worse than Holocaust denial.
Those International Socialists who insist on denying the evidence that AGW is a fraud are hell bent on reducing the planet’s population down to 500 million from 7 billion. I think denying that that is their goal is far worse than their denying that 6 million Jews were killed by National Socialism.

Jews have been declared the canaries in the coal mine for very good reason.

Exposing More Climatism Lies

Today Los Angeles experienced a weather anomaly worth mentioning here because it and the consequences of it will be downplayed and lied about by our Soviet-Style Media.

Due to a tropical storm down in Baja California (this is Mexico's rainy season) and helpful low pressure region north of us plus some favorable current, we Angelenos got quite a lot of rain today IN THE MIDDLE OF JULY.

In my over forty years in California, I can attest that such is a very rare event indeed.

Now get this. I recently purchasing two 60 gallon rain barrels. I've hooked them up to my gutters' downspouts. Additionally I have another 60 gallon water collection barrel and an old 35 gallon plastic garbage barrel. I use both of these as a spare to catch overflow from each of the rain barrels.
Furthermore, I have a green 105 gallon garbage barrel that is provided by the city for the collection of garden waste that I rarely have need for because I compost my grass and fallen leaves. I need to put out trimmed branches maybe once every two months.

In what has been scattered showers throughout the day, I have filled both rain barrels and the green garbage barrel to capacity. Furthermore, the 35 gallon and 60 gallon barrels are about 20% filled. We are supposed to get some more rain tonight, and again on Monday (I don't know why Sunday is a day off), so I imagine they will be filled too before this is over.

That's 225+ gallons of rain water in one day. Mind you, none of these showers we had today were the really terrible downpours that have been legendary out here. The 120 gallons barrels filled themselves. I manually collected water from a puddles and that was how I filled the 105 gallon green barrel.

The point I wish to make is that California does not have a drought problem; it has a water storage problem. That lack of storage is due in part by law passed by a humanity-hating governor and state legislature. But even before that, the destruction of our water storage capacity was by court order due to humanity hating watermelon lawsuits funded by misanthropic non-profit foundations and your tax dollars.

By non-democratic procedures we have had our water storage capacity diminished.

And as you are coming to recognize about nearly everything that is being declared "legal," perversion is now 9/10 of the Law.

Misanthropic Tactic Number 1

I'm calling this tactic number 1 of the misanthropes because their contempt for "lesser" humanity seems affirmed each time they can get some dunce to believe that large gains can come from small falsehoods. That they managed to sell a Brooklyn Bridge to the dunce at little cost and great benefit to them is only the practical goal. Proving there are so many dunces is what makes them feel best.

How better to shut down discussion of a hoax than to assert
"Even if it is a hoax, the end result must be good."
That is the message of this cartoon.
Fix it to read: 'What if it's a big hoax and we destroy liberty, lives and civilization due our gullibility?'

Retrieved from the FB page of the Watermelon project that goes by the name "The Story of Stuff."

That Story of Stuff series of videos is a complete throwback to the early Marxist anti-industrialists. The Left could never win where the middle class was benefiting by being "exploited" by all that industry. Most certainly not the generations closest to those that had escaped European and Asian tyrannies.

But now with the CAGW CACC hoax's never-ending  propaganda by the SSM and academia,  they have numbskulls (with no inkling of the despots their forebears escaped from) thinking that they own the moral high ground if only they go along with the hoax. (The morality component and how it is used is explained in my essay series Fighting the Growth of Theocracy in America.)

Indeed, one such fool posted
One of my favourite climate change cartoons! I've got it on my phone for a quick reply to any deniers who start carrying on about the matter.
as if the squelching of freedom is a small price to pay for a presumed better world.

Here's the answer folks. Consensus built by cominterns to provide them cover for their hated rule have NEVER made a better world. The greatest advances have been achieved by individuals. Individualism is despised by collectivists.

Listen up you Prog megalomaniacs.

The billions of murders you aim to achieve under cover of your Sustainability project will never be forgiven.
Gene Roddenberry warned you of your fate in The Conscience of the King. Your own children will be driven to madness knowing what you began or -- G-d forbid -- completed.

Counter-Propaganda

I’ve been tweeting variations of this line at each CAGW related story in the hopes that many others begin to repeat its essence.

Marginalize the marginalizers. Rent seekers co-opting science to coerce consensus via expulsion are NOT scientists.

Others will repeat this sort of message until there will be no place you clowns go where your audience has not heard it.

We will pile the ridicule high enough and so that even the most brainless rent seekers among you will look for safer pickings. You will help bring sanity and adults back to proper prominence or you will lose to a Higher authority.

CAGW Bunkos In the Bunker

Just when you think a format has run its course, someone finds a way to reinject new life into it. I will not make you any promises, but I found the What would Mawson do? segment hilarious.

Just so you know (I had to be informed by my Aussie friend KG) "Chris" is Australian climatologist  Chris Turney. This Leader of ill-fated Antarctic expedition, Professor Chris Turney, defends voyage
tells you how much this embarrassment burns him. ["Don't worry. He should make a very good clown." LOL]

If it so moves you, for extended chuckles you will find a copy of the screenplay of the Mawson segment below the break.

Do You Think CO2 Is a Pollutant Newt?

Yes, I know that Mr. Gingrich declared that "the dumbest thing I've done in the last couple of years was sitting on a couch with Nancy Pelosi." But he evaded answering the AGWF questions that have caused so much uncertainty and closing down, through extensive and unsound bureaucratic rules, businesses that produce and use energy.

The questions I most want to hear Mr. Gringrich answer in tonight's debate:
  1. Do You Think CO2 Is a Pollutant?
  2. How do you plan on ending EPA's insistence that it is?

Defeat the Bleat, Beat the Heat

Defeat the Bleat,
Beat the Heat,
Cheat the Elite,
Their deathist fete.
Tips for cooling those endangered by high heat and humidity.
Quickest and cheapest;
  • put the afflicted in a tub of cool water. Any temperature below 98.6° may not feel that relieving, but it can save a life. Intermittent showering can help too, but it's just as confining, and tiring, and wastes too much water.

Other, less confining methods.
  • Apply and remove wet towels or washcloths to the afflicted, especially to the scalp. A fan that would not work under dry conditions will amplify evaporation of water so applied, and will increase the cooling effect via latent heat of evaporation (even at 99% humidity conditions) that speeds up because of the moving air.
  • Apply rubbing alcohol to the body, especially the scalp -- in a well ventilated area and if you can tolerate the vapors.
  • Run a fan slowly over a bowl of ice and sit downwind. The slower, the longer the air is in contact with the ice so that it can become cooler. Be prepared to get wet no matter the speed of the fan. In high humidity, as the air cools, the water it contains condenses out. Like fog.
  • Rig one or more ice-cube trays by wire from above and run the fan slowly past this poor-man's heat exchanger and sit downwind. Catch the drippings with a pan below the trays.  Freeze another set of cubes while these melt. You'll need to add some mesh to the open side of the ice-cube trays to keep them in their slots until depleted. Maybe some window-screening. The more ice trays you have, the more surface area that the air comes in contact with, and the cooler it gets, and so the faster you can run the fan. Be prepared to get wetter. Have towels handy. LOL. But you will get cooler.
What prompted this?

The Salem Broadcasting flagship station in Los Angeles, KRLA, broadcasts news on the hour as provided by CBS. Somehow, when the "conservative" hosts come back on air, they never point out the lies of commission or omission, or the dissembling, or the disingenuousness, or the rank stupidity passed off as wisdom essentially on their shows. No time for them to think and include that in their programming you could say? Are our "conservative" talkshow hosts that bad they can't think on their feet. Your meant that they can't operate without a script just as a certain cretin at the highest levels can't speak without a teleprompter?

Well, yesterday really angered me.

Heard on the news was a moaning and gnashing of teeth about the first heat wave of the summer.
We're told of 116° heat index in DC.
We're told of how some doctor in Michigan said that fans are of no use in high heat and humidity.
We're told that many people will die, particularly the elderly.

Nowhere in this litany of death watching, and excuse to bring up the AGWF (anthropogenic global warning fraud), was there a single suggestion of how to avoid death from overheating.

You useless POS media Agency of Lies. HERE is what you could have included in your newscast as a public service. It would have taken another two seconds of air time!

"A doctor in Michigan said that fans are of no use in high heat and humidity -- but immersion in a tub of water can save lives."

Why not CBS news? Your TV affiliate in Los Angeles did earlier in July as part of a promotional deal to watch their show. Do you want people to die? I think more people in America are becoming wise to why you won't answer the question truthfully.

We can hear your answer, you elitist pigs.
"Well, a few deaths will help promote the AGWF. As our father, Vladimir Lenin said, 'you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet.' You know the drill."
Yeah. I do. You bloody bastards.

Environmental Justice: Not an EPA Bug, But a Feature

"If Texas is required to comply [with new EPA regulations], the state could be faced with a large number of plant retirements, thousands of lost jobs, and significantly higher energy costs." -- Cornyn shut out of Senate hearing on new air regs that affect Texas. [Hat tip to Mark Alger.]

This is known in Greenie jargon as "environmental justice." It is akin to "social justice" in it's construct. As such it bears no resemblance to true justice where the facts and evidence of a case are used to arrive at a verdict.

In short, greenie's view environmental justice as penalizing with regulations those who are either viewed to be able to withstand the added costs (allegedly they wouldn't do it to the poor directly) or for acts of the past that were not penalized but should have been (Texas having been such a large source of oil makes its particularly vulnerable under this view).

"What are they being penalized for" you ask? Well all that pollution of course. "What polution?" Well, CO2 is now a pollutant because the EPA says so, "So in keeping with environmental justice, Texas has no right to protest any regulatory restrictions, so they certainly have no right to be present on my committee." said an unnamed unofficial spokeperson for Mrs. Senator Boxer.

Too Late? Part 2

Part 1 left me so despondent -- because nobody seems to care -- that I hardly commented anywhere last week, and did not write a new entry here for 7 days. That's a severe cutback on my output over the last 4 months or so.

This week I again point to two more who are catching up to the realization of which yours truly has been warning for a very long time.  They have a much larger audience than moi, so pray many more will also wake up. In the two related reports below you will see that at the least the people I'm highlighting are recognizing that the goals of, and legalistic policies thereby derived from, extreme environmentalists could not be any more misanthropic were that their intent.

Dennis Prager, in Thursday's second hour ("Corn is the New DDT"), commented on the report, as it appeared in the UK's Independent, about current chairman and former CEO of Nestlé, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe: "Biofuel policy is causing starvation, says Nestlé boss."

I recommend reading most of the link in order to understand the following plea by Mr. Brabeck-Letmathe. It is one with which I could not agree more.

"It is absolutely immoral to push hundreds of millions of people into hunger and into extreme poverty because of such a policy, so I think – I insist – no food for fuel."

Sadly, few understand that the Sus worshiping misanthropes responsible for the food-to-fuel diversion policy have a new morality, so Mr. Brabeck-Letmathe's words will surely fall on deaf ears. From what I can surmise, his calling them immoral is greeted with a knowing laugh similar to that of SKUNCs when they hear themselves called RINOs. "Of course we're moral, just not in the defunct Judeo-Christian way."

Mr. Prager's final comment comes very close to agreeing with me. The difference remains in that he seems unwilling to challenge them as to what they are up to.

"If the story is true, and I believe it is true, the policy is indeed immoral, leads to death and starvation. But for environmentalists, 'people are a bane on the planet anyway, and so what?' That may not be in their heart, but that is what their policies connote."
Please, Mr. Prager, use your microphone to press the question:
"Environmentalists and Liberals -- what is really in your heart?"

Why do I have the horrible feeling Mr. Prager will never press that question?

Our Fight Against Lies

Exactly how skilled have those with evil intentions been able to disguise their machinations?

Wabbit in These really are shameful times' exposed how idiotic was a lie about global warming. But the fact that the lie could be refuted did not
  1. keep the liar from uttering it
  2. keep the MSM Agency of Lies from repeating the lie.
  3. reach all those without access to the Internet.
  4. faze true believers, incubated to fear truth as a vampire does sunlight.

As I did a bit of cheer-leading for Wabbit efforts, it occurred to me that this was a good time to review an old machination of the liars. It was one that served them in the past when they were still wearing the misunderstood, well-intentioned liberal disguise.

Keep on exposing all Lefty lies; it is a good thing. But it is important not to beat around the bush; call them lies when it’s clear. Be clear, and avoid sarcasm; because as a tool to reach out to the audience, sarcasm is almost totally dead to all but those already in our choir.

The Left and the Greens and the Agency of Lies, lie about everything. Especially their intentions — which allowed these malevolent  "Progressives" Incrementals to overwhelm those who tried to prevent them from gaining control of almost every institution. So now it’s left to us on the Right, itself riddled with moles like you see in your National Party, and I see in the GOP, to call it as they lie.

It’s a very difficult thing to fight when our side is afraid to speak up. To make the world safe for us who fight the lies, we have to beat the censorship that they disguise under the Newspeak and double-think label they invented and keep alive called political correctness (which is the topic of another of my posts).

For a good example of the problem, I’m going to use the Left’s own BS. Was Lefty film maker George Lucas laughing at us or inadvertently warning us at a climax in "Revenge of the Sith" exactly how skilled evil has been at disguising its intentions?

I am speaking of the scene where Senator Palpatine, his treachery revealed, whined successfully to Anakin so that he could kill Mace Windu. All the lies Palpatine had been telling Anakin earlier apparently paid off in that moment. It allowed the future emperor to turn the tables against the forces for good.

Is that our future too if we let down?

In order to defeat the lies, they must be exposed as often as possible. Eventually the foolish Anakin tools may catch on. But it also helps keep us from being divided by more lies. The money the Statists have to keep the Left in the business of lies is nearly endless.

Again, call out the lies wherever you can expose them. It's a trait of leadership. Do not be afraid.

Beyond Brazen

You all know it's true that the "Progressives" have moved beyond brazen.

They know you know, and are waiting for you "Reactionaries" to, er, react.

But did you realize that they've been practicing being openly brazen for years? It's just that nobody noticed?

Well, I'm sure you're going to love this one. It's from the Society for Philosophy and Technology, Spring-Summer 1997, Volume 2, Number 3-4

CAN THERE BE A BEST ETHIC OF SUSTAINABILITY? by Paul T. Durbin, University of Delaware

His conclusion:
If this were not being addressed to a philosophy audience, I could probably stop here. The guidelines and framework [proposed here] are likely to be useful only if we recognize that each real-world implementation is going to be radically different, peculiar to its own region. In principle, there may be a general framework for ethical sustainability, but in practice there are only local democratic attempts to bring about some approximation of it.
(shortened and in my words) --
"No. There can be no best ethic because it's a matter of what we can get away with in each locality."
You see, people don't like being blocked in their efforts to provide a living for themselves and their families. And they really get pissed when they find their very lives being written off. So any open efforts to eliminate large numbers of human beings needs to be done surreptitiously. If the Sus worshippers can get us to kill each other, and their hands are not directly implicated, they have a win-win situation.

Now read again my second paragraph above.

Is that right, Ms. Ann Thrope?

A Fascist Rationalizes Killing Democracy

They (the "Progressive", self-assessed elitists) keep revealing to you how they think. Pass it on.

How can you not call them out for engaging in death worship when they are seeking a governing system that has a sordid history of killing great numbers of people? Clearly, the most extreme "environmentalists" believe they are doing you a favor by killing your neighbor ("Oops! We were aiming for your neighbor. Sorry.")

File this story under: "While they're killing you, at least they feel good about themselves."

Lifted in its entirety from Ace whose snark about Leftists in general was too good not to share:

Climate "Scientist" Who Developed Gaia Theory: We're Gonna Have To Put Democracy "On Hold" To Save the Planet

Shocker.

Humans are too stupid to prevent climate change from radically impacting on our lives over the coming decades. This is the stark conclusion of James Lovelock, the globally respected environmental thinker and independent scientist who developed the Gaia theory.

It follows a tumultuous few months in which public opinion on efforts to tackle climate change has been undermined by events such as the climate scientists' emails leaked from the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the failure of the Copenhagen climate summit.

"I don't think we're yet evolved to the point where we're clever enough to handle a complex a situation as climate change," said Lovelock in his first in-depth interview since the theft of the UEA emails last November. "The inertia of humans is so huge that you can't really do anything meaningful."

One of the main obstructions to meaningful action is "modern democracy", he added. "Even the best democracies agree that when a major war approaches, democracy must be put on hold for the time being. I have a feeling that climate change may be an issue as severe as a war. It may be necessary to put democracy on hold for a while."
You know what's not like a war which would require some adjustments to normal democratic practice? Actual war. I certainly don't endorse repealing the Constitution because of war, but look at the left's reaction to Gitmo, or the idea of ethnic profiling.

But something like a war, on the other hand, requires that all of democracy be put "on hold."
