A Broken Clock On Thanksgiving

This inspiring video was posted by Darin at Crusader Rabbit. I wished to share it, but with advice against thinking too highly of its author .

It's an "a broken clock is right twice a day" situation. I've long lamented that it's too bad the “former” radical Medved has to be such a consistent buttlicker of the likes of McCain. His stances are consistent to the point that he gives the appearance he aims to keep the "Progressive" Incrementalist inroads gained through the pressure provided by his old radical comrades, but does so by hiding out on our side. So he serves as a reminder that it is far better to be thought of as a decent sort of fellow rather than a very smart one.

He’s the sort that drove this site to hold a cash contest to replace RINO with an intentionally more uncomplimentary and fitting acronym. SKUNC was the result. The first letter stands for either Statist or Stooge, depending.

If only once a year we gather together to be thankful for whatever joy, large or small, we may have been granted, it is actually a major thing for which to be grateful.

So today I’ll grant Medved the label of Statist alone, grateful for his contribution to restoring, from the onslaughts of the Social Justice Cretins, the prestige that Thanksgiving deserves.

Orwell Was Right -- Again

Many people have attested they have read Orwell's 1984. But how good is the average memory of it or anything else? And even should the memory be good, how many are willing to connect what they remember to what they witness in real time?

I ask about being willing to make connections because there are a number of risks involved in doing so. Chief among these is the fear of being dismissed for jumping to conclusions. As a result, there is a requirement to piece all the evidence together before announcing the conclusion so as to be prepared to answer all outright adversaries, cynics, skeptics or casual scoffers rapidly and as thoroughly as possible.

However -- and this is the game changer -- it now matters not how well prepared we are for debate. Those who resent our abilities to answer them with facts, reason and rationality want us just to shut up, and they will charge us with all the things our well-backed-up arguments -- if permitted a fair hearing -- would belie.

See the world for what it has become and adapt!

We now live in an age where those who control the major outlets of communication, what most people refer to as MSM, but we here at Pascal Fervor refer to as the Soviet-Style Media, SSM, have hired people to spout utter nonsense without a shred of evidence, and are quite willing to slander any whom they wish with baseless charges.

Charges of racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic -- I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot more -- are brandished to the point of meaninglessness. But that does not mean tossing such charges are not still deemed as useful by those who pay for the service. They approve by renewing the contracts of all those who spew such unsupported "stupidity."

I put stupidity in quotes because such evil assertions are more easily deflected by calling them stupid than to take umbrage -- which would require a stronger response. So it's often called stupid by someone not willing to risk the implications on them of drawing the connection of evil intent to those who seek to gain by tarnishing the reputation of their opponents. And besides, such emissions are still food for mindless idiots to repeat to others of their ilk. Idiots will repeat any stupidity that suits them.

So this is written to remind my readers of one of the more unclear notions that Orwell wrote about. It's an attempt to make it easier to pass the understanding along to others how novelist George Orwell (journalist Eric Blair) predicted the sort of repeated gibberish of which we see all the time on SSM, most frequently on CNN and MSNBC, but on every TV news outlet, including Fox, and ever increasingly in the products of the entertainment arm of the SSM.

Darin at Crusader Rabbit in FFS! #39,528  reacted in the usual way to what appears to be simply the title of the Daniel Greenfield report Dr Seuss is Racist, Thomas the Tank Engine is Sexist
“Are there even words for this level of stupid?”

Of course he's right on one level, as I laid out above. And the direct answer to Darin's question was provided by Ed Bonderenka with the brilliant double entendre: "utter nonsense."

There's much more to comprehend, and that's why I am looking at it more thoroughly here.

Contend that Orwell predicted what may be called orchestrated stupidity. He gave it the name Duckspeak. He wrote several paragraphs in 1984 explaining the goal of the practice, but did not provide explicit examples.

The best summation of all that Orwell wrote on the topic may be this:
“make articulate speech issue from the larynx without involving the higher brain centres at all.”
I’m guessing he didn’t give us an example because he could see the value in its use but had not yet seen it put to use.

We, unfortunately, have been forced to live with it and have not yet figured out a successful counter-ploy since we individualists and targets of the oppressors don’t command the intrusive and omnipresent stage as the SSM does.

Such a widely staged practice, its contents prevented from being fairly contested on that stage and thus easily employed for inculcating weak and weakened minds, provides material for the jabbering parrots you may hear every hour of every day. Emitting words without involving the higher brain centers at all.

Wait. There's yet more. How did it evolve?

Duckspeak may have begun in this country with the relatively minor behavior of Eleanor Clift on the long running PBS show The McLaughlin Group. It bore the initial appearances of a slightly less formal debate: a panel discussion between various political commentators who worked for establishment outlets. But it was always rigged to Clift's advantage in that she was always granted a hecklers veto. Whenever an argument seemed to expose the failings of some Leftist Sinister policies, those in charge of her microphone permitted her high pitched whine to overwhelm whichever opponent was speaking. It didn't happen all the time, but it proved to be an acceptable and winning format. It went on for over 20 years and until the death of the host.  Suggestive that the resultant disorder that harmed fair discussions could well have been one objective goal of its host is that although the other panelists changed around over the years, only McLaughlin, the host, and Clift were regulars. Clift's behavior was essential in advancing the ability of nonsense to gain any ground on that program and in setting the pattern of what could follow on to undermine ordered discussions in our society.

Following that, CNN advanced the assault on reasoned debate with a show titled Cross-Fire. In that one, the shouting was more pronounced as the title of the show explicitly suggests. In other words, the appearance of decorum was far less often preserved. And given all that CNN has come to represent in its support of all that has become ever more openly sinister to what America once stood for, their advancement of Duckspeak appears to have taken the practice about as far as it can go.

The facts of the situations we have witnessed in only the last few years indicate that the effectiveness of Duckspeak has dwindled quite a bit. The most flagrant practitioners may be needing to look for new jobs assuming they survive the extremists who have begun to eat their own.

The failure of nonsense to win over new parrots to utter the nonsense is why authorities in universoties and skools who are committed to the failing Prog agenda have increasingly resorted to shut-down real debates where students might actually hear clear, reasonable, rational arguments that expose the huge numbers of failures being forced down our throats. And expose Duckspeak for the utter nonsense it is.

That also explains why authorities all around the country, even more deeply committed to the failed Prog agenda, have allowed violent thugs to appear masked and with bludgeons and mostly tied the hands of law enforcement to prevent their unlawful acts.  It explains why the crony-corporate funded SSM invoke invalid apologetics for Antifa's antics and grants those thugs the uncritical use of the label Antifa without once acknowledging incident after incident where Antifa's actions match exactly those of past fascists and other violent organizations such as the Democrat Party's violent auxiliaries in the KKK.

This may be another reason why Orwell didn't explicitly provide examples of Duckspeak. It would have been too stupid to write about convincingly. This is because, once again, truth is stranger than fiction. Who could believe a fiction wherein someone would say that Doctor Seuss is racist and others would repeat it?  Only in the real world!

Face it. Even if it's in decline, as far as Orwell once again proving to be a predictor of the tactics to expect from those seeking absolute power and his understanding of how it would diminish of the ability of the intended subjects to resist, he was right.

The Less Nasty Reason for Amnesty

The more nasty reason is that it allows jihadis to sneak across the border and join the imported army hiding out in the mosques with their cached weopons.

If the Western press, the Soviet-style Media, succeeds in keeping that traitorous thought from becoming commonly understood for the deadly threat that it is, then the following may be allowed to become the meme that replaces it.

The less nasty reason is, quite simply, that both parties have aligned to allow 0 to fast-track the importation of a new American citizenry more to their liking.

The Mexican and Central American peasants, being accustomed to a very limited set of opportunities by their despotic upper classes, view coming to America as a chance of a lifetime. And it is and will continue to be for some unknown short-term.

This is especially so because they are given that all sorts of socialist goodies from the moment they cross the border, making the traditional American lure of an opportunity to make a good life from ones own abilities run as a distant second lure.

In a post from 2011, Ameristocracy Targeting TJICs, I coined the phrase Ameristocracy. Please read it.

The incoming third-worlders, long accustomed to being abused by their despots, are more accepting of their new, more benign, Norte American despots. They, as a lower class from rigidly classed societies, cannot understand why native Norte Americanos could be concerned.

Native Americans are simply not malleable enough to be relied upon to go along with the ever more demanding desires of our Ameristocracy and its ruling class. So a population that IS more accustomed to being bossed around is highly desirable and so welcomed open arms.

It serves to dilute voter resistance to the extent that voting still has any meaning.

And what bothers me most about this is that although it is bad that America is on the fast track to becoming a more rigidly classed society that it never really has been (upward mobility has long been an American dream come true time and again), it IS the less nasty reason for why amnesty is bad.

You do recall what the more nasty reason is don't you? Jihadis hiding amongst the invaders.

It would be a good thing were these peasants would come to understand how short-lived their improved life will be once the more nasty reason became "kinetic."

However, how in the world could we ever convey to them that they are welcomed here because they serve as useful idiots in providing cover for terrorists? Given how impossible it has been to convey to our fellow native Americans (with no language barrier) how deadly is our Ameristocracy to the existence of America as the home for individual freedom.

Pray.

The Look of Fear

We've seen this look before. Think of when Margaret Hamilton's character realized she was about to be "baptized" in her most famous climax.

Was Labeled "Ace" Because He Wasn't?

Interesting Post at Commentary, on the Vicious Disdain of the Elite

Thirteen hundred words for "Ace of Spades" to arrive at the conclusion that there are people in the upper echelons of prestige and influence who lethally hate the common man.

What took him so long?
  1. He's not chief moron for no reason? Or...
  2. Did Ace get turned down for membership in some tony club?

Boehner: Shame of OH8? For WHAT?

Politicians often must go through any number of contortions to do their job.

The current Congress came into being because of the excesses of the last one.

Yet the leadership in this Congress appears to be constantly on the run rather than on the offensive as if the last public opinion poll that matters -- the elections of 2010 -- did not happen.

This morning, on Fox New Sunday, John Boehner sounded like a man possessed.
With his self-imposed deadline for releasing a deficit plan before overseas markets open just a few hours away, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said both sides were “not there yet" and pushed for a two-stage debt-limit vote.

“I would prefer to have a bipartisan approach to solve this problem,” Boehner said on Fox News Sunday. “If that's not possible, I and my Republican colleagues are prepared to do this alone. Today.”
[emphasis added] -- 'The President’s Worried About His Next Election'
But what was it he appeared to be possessed with? Shamelessness in chasing after being accepted by those he is supposed to be fighting! This following is how I see it shaping up.

There is nothing spent in the last congress that the Left will allow to be cut, and the public is daily harangued by the Agency of Lies to forget that is WHY we have the new congress. We are told it is the new Congress, and the "wet behind the ears" TEA party members who are recalcitrant. But it is Obama and the Democratic Slave Party controlled Senate that will not budge, abetted by the old line GOP SKUNCs, personified by Mitch McConnell, and recently joined by Tom Coburn.1 It most definitely not the TEA party members who were sent to Congress to try and reverse all that the dictators did from 2009-2010.

It is surely looking like the fix has long been in with Boehner and that his long dance has only been for show. With McConnell, it was already clear that he was going to be going with (note my pun) the Gangue of Six even when he said he wasn't. What a sham!

It was the use of the word gang again. Every time something is touted by a "gang," the patriot is right to sense that there's a conspiracy to defraud afoot. Especially because the left and the media are ever so gay about it.

That gay metaphor comes from a scene that I vaguely recall from some movie. It could be La Cage Aux Faux or Victor Victoria.  Nathan Lane or Robert Preston would sniff that some straight guy appears "not to be as sophisticated as I thought." The object of desire failed to appreciate the compliment Lane had  bestowed upon him by the very proposition he rebuffed.

So it is with the Left and the Statists and the media (please forgive the redundancy, but there still is a widespread illusion that these are independent groups not all tied to the same yokes). Anyone who is not in step with them is simply not sophisticated2 enough to be worth even a nod of recognition. The bigotry in the United States could never ever been this shameless before (the very number the bigots exclude makes them so monstrous) nor so widely entrenched in every aspect of our government.

So it appears to be with Mr. Boehner. We are at the brink of a major political collapse unless we in the TEA Party can make him and a few more understand the gravity. And his conduct seems utterly shameless. His chasing after approval of the influence peddlers who mislead like Pied Pipers instead of his standing firm on principles against the further destruction of our economy and of our republic. And that is if Mr. Boehner is STILL capable of feeling shame and so will fight back against this onslaught into which he is displaying every sign of caving.

And it is not that I don't understand. I truly do. Here it is. The Left and the media won't grant credit to Boehner for being sophisticated (on their terms, not his if he has a sense of that as a good gamesman should), and he's running after them:
"Oh, but I am. I am sophisticated. Really I am." cries John Boehner.
"Give me another chance! PuhlEEEEEze"

And if I were living in Ohio in Congressional District 8, I surely would feel the shame for supporting such a weak and shameless pussy all these years.

____________
1This is yet another instance where we are witnessing the traitorous nature of former stalwarts. Liken this to the First Triumvirs of ancient Rome (Crassus, Pompey and Caesar) who suddenly revealed themselves to be against the republic by supporting the demagogue of the oligarchs. Tom Coburn has dropped his façade. Newt Gingrich went long ago. Who is going to be next? Jim DeMint? Sarah Palin?

2There is now an omnipresent haughtiness. There is this bigotry, flaunted by the Left and Statists, against those who do not sign on to their vision, the noblesse oblige, to eradicate this republic. Patriots are simply unsophisticated.

This provides one of the perfect examples where sophistication has both its roots and its full maturity simultaneously exposed. Its roots are pure sophistry and so it should be no surprise that its disingenuousness would lead to an adulterated paradise -- like utopia was ever anything but "no place." Those who seek sophistication should not be surprised they have nothing but ash in their mouths when they arrive at their final destination.

How many have warned these fools? How many of the fools think that the results of their efforts will be different? Here is why education has been destroyed. Whom but ignorant sheeple would allow themselves to be misled to their doom? Played for suckers so that a handful of madmen could play at being gods for some miniscule years such as are 3 score and ten.

A Danger Not Only to Themselves

hangMan says:
I for one can think of a lot of humans that should be exterminated and am reminded of the movie “Soylent Green.” Put old and sick people on trains for a “better place to live” and then grind them up for fertilizer. What good are they anyway? The 3:10 for Yuma leaves this afternoon.
Any shortsighted enough not to realize that they could be deemed the next to die depending on which faction comes into power — such as you hangman — would probably be seen as too stupid to be allowed to stay alive before the next time they vote.

Thanks to Wabbit for setting up the, er, gallows.

So You Think This is Over

You’ve GOT To Be Kidding Me (Birth Certificate)

Anyone who thinks this is over is nuts. This is the red herring that just keeps on working. Even the debunker asks the question: Why is this forgery so amateurish?
The despot reserves the privilege to pee in your ear and then demand you accept his claim it’s only rain. #
As the burgeoning State gains more power, expect more of this.

There are already many people who will continue to make an issue of Obama's eligibility. The man is a fraud on so many levels, yet there are so many politicians on both sides of the aisle who look the other way. At this point, him being born on Mars would be besides the point. The CIC has been allowed so much dictatorial power that goes unanswered (e.g.: SCOTUS refused fast-track review of ObamaCare, giving time to the poisoners to overload our finances and culture), how can any rational person doubt that there is no real political opposition to what he is doing?

This is how Statism works my friends. It creates its own opposition like a debater creates a straw-man argument. Put away your political science books and look to the World Wrestling Federation to understand what is transpiring.

Those who work for the powers that be, willingly or unwillingly, you will continue to go along providing distractions as one neighbor after another disappears — if you know what is good for you.

But as for the rest, the poorly connected but well-meaning fools who continue to make an issue of the birth certificate: I agree with you that in principle it is an important issue. But in the meantime, as you defend that island, the tsunami is washing away all your other more substantive principles.  Wake up.

Tide, Mudflats, and Quicksand

Le Mont-Saint-Michel, France

There are places where the tide pulls so far out one finds it hard to believe it will ever return. All that lays revealed may only be mud, yet that mud proves its allure every day.

Still the tide inevitably returns, often swiftly. It's so easy to be stranded out there. And that is even if one is not trapped in the insidiously numerous pockets of quicksand.

I have put together a slide show of  about 65 stills that were shot over about 12 hours.  Frames 25-30 were shot seconds apart to show the speed of the advance. Because wave action is miles away,  the advance is steady and relentless as it surrounds and cuts off higher mud.

It and a few explanatory notes (plus another man's art show I added late) are below the break.

KOC: Moral Relativism Explained

Andrew Klavan posted the following video under the title Multiculturalism Explained.

From an artistic standpoint this is a clever video, as is Mr. Klavan's chosen title.

But because I was more impressed with his post-script, I chose "Moral Relativism Explained." Here are Mr Klavan's words.

"Multiculturalism is based on the "equally sound" [sarcasm] philosophy of moral relativism which holds that nothing is absolutely right or wrong. Except that nothing is absolutely right or wrong.

As Shakespeare put it "there is nothing absolutely good or bad, but thinking makes it so."

Actually, Shakespeare gave those words to Hamlet, who was pretending to be insane when he said them. Which is to imply that moral relativism isn't just crazy, it's fake crazy -- because nobody is really crazy enough to believe it.

So perhaps now we have begun to understand."
Yes. Thinking of what is right or wrong is the process that separates man from beast. And they who would rule over us are controlling the Agency of Lies (MSM) and the indoctrination centers (skools) and even religious institutions (tax codes and cultural Marxist moles), have been inculcating us not to think of good and evil at all.

Youth of the world: murdering your fellow man is wrong. Arranging his starvation is akin to murder. If you value your own life, or think you will some time in the future, then follow this simplest form of the golden rule: "Do nothing that is hateful." And I am not talking about hurting their feelings, because sometimes that can save their lives, but about not being hateful towards their very existence.

Here's a simple rule to know what is hateful. Ask yourself:

"Would  my being murdered be hateful to me?"
In most instances -- and that is good enough for me -- your answer will be "Hell yes!"

That's a very good way of putting what is right and what is wrong in perspective.

Tell the next moral relativist to pound sand. Don't let his pretending to be crazy drive you there.

Media Continues Its Downward Spiral

In the L.A.Times yesterday appeared HHS and EPA will recommend lower fluoride levels in water supply:

The Department of Health and Human Services and the Environmental Protection Agency said Friday that they will recommend lowering the amount of fluoride in public water supplies because most people are now getting large quantities of the protective agent from other sources, including toothpaste, mouthwashes, prescription supplements and fluoride applied by dental professionals. As a consequence, some children's teeth are becoming mottled because of overexposure to fluoride. [emphasis added]

Well. Duh.

I always counseled my kids: "Spit out the toothpaste. Don't swallow it. It will mottle your teeth."

My eldest and wise-acrest of offspring would have told you that more than 20 years -- after finding out the hard way that my warnings were well founded.
And after all these years later, that one still has mottled teeth.
My youngest does not have the problem.

I knew to warn my kids because this has been known for years before that.

But today, the L.A. Times writes this like it's NEWS. Not daring to declare their masters in government liars or even incompetent. They write it as if it's a sudden discovery.

Minitrue (the Fourth Estate now wholly suck-ups to govt) -- you are a worthless POS.

The Dilbert Principle President

Follow ups to this post are collected here.
How is it possible that after 21 months of ineptitude under Barack Hussein Obama that a Google search on "The Dilbert Principle President" only turns up one hit?

Note that this single instance is an off-hand reference to GWBush in an obscure stream of comments about John Kerry.

Here's the short explanation of the Dilbert Principle and the Peter Principle from which it was derived.

In Nutshells
The Peter PrincipleThe Dilbert Principle
Managers   move up in any hierarchy until reaching their level of incompetence.Managers are placed at their level  of incompetence having no inkling of what is competent whatsoever.

Haven't we all been been insulted enough by mainstream journalists who have not uncovered regarding President Obama:
  • A single transcript from any institution of learning regarding BHO.
  • A single paper written by BHO while editor of the Harvard Law Review.
  • Hell -- A single graded paper of BHO from any level of school.
  • Who helped BHO write two best-selling books prior to his elevation to the national spotlight.
  • Who prepaid for the early copies of his first book so that it became a best-seller before anybody ever heard of BHO.
I could go on.

And this lack of investigation comes to you from the same "impressive" sources, the majority of whom still think that Dan Rather's falsification of a GWBush ANG evaluation was fake but accurate.

I know why you can't find -- until today -- any reference to Barack Obama as the Dilbert Principle President. It is because the whole circling-down-the-drain country is so Politically Correct Cowered that the emperor is permitted to continue to destroy the country without him having to prove he has a stitch of success at anything every other president has been raked over the coals to prove at least somewhat.
WTF have you done before you were elected President that was of any significance, you goddamn puppet of God-knows-who special interests?

I'm so disgusted with the lack of candor on this subject that I'm strongly considering revising my new definition of PC from Politically Cowered to Political Cowards.

Statist Fools: The Devil is in the Details.

The radical environmentalists misanthropes believe that the earth's population needs to be reduced to half a billion people.

I only recently noticed the ratio involved here. Twelve out of every thirteen people alive today are targeted for elimination.

This ratio is equivalent to the aces seeking to remove all other cards from the deck.

What these overconfident Godless fools fail to recognize is that they are not aces in any stretch of the imagination. Most of those I've met who've risen to captain industry and institutions in and out of government require help, figuratively, to tie their own shoelaces. (And in some instances, literally.)

So I think of them as deuces gone wild.

"The Deuce you say?"

Yep, rule by these self-assessed aces cannot stand once the real aces take conscious stock of their abilities and assume their rightful place.

AGW: Fundamentally Antihuman

My title is a more concise wording of what Mark Steyn was recorded as saying when he substituted for Rush Limbaugh in early September. For Mark Steyn it's not new. He said it while back in his book America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It.

Courtesy of (of all things) Media Matters.

Media matters provided this because they know when they're throwing their fans red meat.

Media Matters was overjoyed to use "Environmentalism" in their headline. It was tailor-made to provoke the desired reaction in most of their soft-headed readers.

But what can we do about it? How can we get them to comprehend what a racket professional "environmentalism" has become?

The comments are filled with mocking Steyn as if he is in favor of polluted air and water. And those are the polite ones. I'm pretty sure had Steyn used the term AGW instead of environmentalism, the difference would have only appeared in the headline and not the response of the readers.

The biggest fools there seem ready to sacrifice themselves along with everyone else to the carbon taxes that will impoverish and health care schemes that will shorten human life. The typical dupe may think that's swell now, but I have no doubt how he'll react when reality socks him in the solar plexus.

It could happen during a particularly harsh winter and is cheerfully told that his family's meager fuel ration has been "raised" from 100 gallons a month to 40 gallons a month.

Or it occurs after he have been rushed to the hospital and is greeted not by emergency room attendants, but by armed gatekeepers.   Maybe it won't be until he hears the arbitrarily decision to send him to the showers to await further processing with the other unlucky (unconnected) ones will he finally notice that the grim reaper has been in attendance for quite some time.

Maybe never.

If the media were not part of the problem and had been playing fair all these years, they never would have allowed these racketeers get away with using a pleasant sounding name like "environmentalist." A real press would hound them
  • for all their inconsistencies;
  • for their profound Malthusian pessimism;
  • for their fear of catastrophe that can be averted with an optimistic leadership;
  • for their hatred of the Bible because it sees human sacrifice as fundamentally evil.

So all these poor deluded people who've been lied to all of their lives would never for a moment consider the truth of Steyn's Statement. The bottom line for these radical misanthropes is WE WILL REDUCE HUMAN POPULATIONS BY HOOK OR BY CROOK.

Other works of Steyn which cover similar territory.

Now Demonstrating the Self-Satirizing

Dear Pascal;

I received the following comment from an in-law whom was conservative leaning in earlier days.

"the stuff(shit) you send is always misleading and half truths of theatrical garbage and that I do not have time for."

Had he told me that to my face, I'm sure I would have laughed. The last time I visited him he religiously watched AND taped the Daily Show*. Theatrical garbage and misleading half truths "that I do not have time for."

And tonight I read your post. I think that sort of dangerous nonsense parading as news helps explain my in-law.

Do you have any recommendations for breaking through his self-imposed barrier?
[* The Daily Show, features Jon Stewart mugging (lowest form of theatrics) for the camera as he delivers misleading half truths meant as satire. ]

Oh the irony! /s

I see why you wrote to me my friend.

I wish I had a good recommendation. That "self-imposed barrier" is made possible because of crap provided your in-law by the same old media whose nationalizing I warned about yesterday.

I keep trying to find new ways to express my own alarm so that people like you can help me come up with ways to break through. That is the primary reason why I've increased my output here. Writing, for me, comes neither easily nor joyously.

I pray that other readers have an answer for you. And maybe they'll cone up with one for me too.

Fools Who Are Cowards Too

The problems that people experience were uncovered by this poll (which instigated this JWF post). The results would be similar were the question refocused from the effects of "Progressive" gender goals to the effects all affirmative action goals.

Gee, do ya think that just maybe some women (or any "underrepresented class") have been advanced a bit too soon because company management was forced to put affirmative action goals (quotas) ahead of performance needs (what works best)?

Q: What fools continue working for this ruling class? Our RC demands -- from a distant and faceless bureaucracy -- that the ruled class accept a mediocrity (who "feels threatened by those who are good at their jobs") and that policy's destruction of excellence in order to conform to the RC's stupid and sometimes deadly edicts.

A: Fools who are cowards and really have no stomach for rebellion.

How Statists Advance

Political Cowing and Cowering 101, On-going classes.

Obamabots Bushbots
An effort to preempt all discussion and criticism as "racist." An effort to preempt all discussion and criticism as "Bush-Bashing."
Anyone reading this blog knows of people who fit these descriptions?
I thought so.

Do you know of any who finally recognize what useful idiots they are?
I thought not. Lots of excuses though.

Reflex

Pasc, you really believe there's a group, aka progressives, that aim to enslave us all or ??? And Obama is one of them? -- Representative of millions

Rep, you're already under their influence.

Your unwillingness to assess the evidence of your own experiences demonstrates this. You've been trained to scoff at any notion of the sort, as displayed by your question. I'd say it is as reflexive in you as Pavlov's dogs slavered to the ringing of a bell.
