Do You Think CO2 Is a Pollutant Newt?

Yes, I know that Mr. Gingrich declared that "the dumbest thing I've done in the last couple of years was sitting on a couch with Nancy Pelosi." But he evaded answering the AGWF questions that have caused so much uncertainty and closing down, through extensive and unsound bureaucratic rules, businesses that produce and use energy.

The questions I most want to hear Mr. Gringrich answer in tonight's debate:
  1. Do You Think CO2 Is a Pollutant?
  2. How do you plan on ending EPA's insistence that it is?

  1. The EPA thinks CO2 is a ... pollutant? Lord... Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

You'ld think the Tree-huggers would have the 'talk to the trees' before saying that:

Trees are made out of thin air (CO2)

Well... I guess we be chop down all them trees - being that they are made by a pollutant.

  2. Nice commentary by Feynman there Cond. It had a fine effect on someone to whom I forwarded the link. Where and when did you become aware of it?

  3. In a very obtuse fashion, Pascal. I first read it from a reporter named 'Michael Yon'. This area was not his expertise (its more military news), yet he mentioned it in a comment. Being that I was rather excited I searched for it and found it (after a little help from Michael.

I am glad you received a pleasurable reaction from your friend. When I first read it, I was amazed. The truth is so simple and Feynman encapsulated it in a way so well.

    Almost poetic, I would say.

  4. Oh.. and I learn of it about a year ago.

Of course I knew that trees absorbed CO2 and gave off O2 years ago, but I never made the ... inspired... connection that Richard Feynman had done.

If children were taught this connection, I am sure it would make science just a little more interesting.
