The questions I most want to hear Mr. Gringrich answer in tonight's debate:
- Do You Think CO2 Is a Pollutant?
- How do you plan on ending EPA's insistence that it is?
Despite the alleged separation of church and state, BELIEF in Sustainability is widely held in American secular government. Judeo-Christian moral guidelines have been incrementally supplanted by what can best be described as neo-pagan ones. Consequently, notice where rulers never utter a harsh word against Malthusian, Utilitarian, Green and Islamistophilic nutcases. There the ruled are at grave risk.
The EPA thinks CO2 is a ... pollutant? Lord... Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?
ReplyDeleteYou'ld think the Tree-huggers would have the 'talk to the trees' before saying that:
Trees are made out of thin air (CO2)

Well... I guess we be chop down all them trees - being that they are made by a pollutant.
Nice commentary by Feynman there Cond. It had a fine effect on someone to whom I forwarded the link. Where and when did you become aware of it?
ReplyDeleteIn a very obtuse fashion, Pascal. I first read it from a reporter named 'Michael Yon'. This area was not his expertise (its more military news), yet he mentioned it in a comment. Being that I was rather excited I searched for it and found it (after a little help from Michael.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you received a pleasurable reaction from your friend. When I first read it, I was amazed. The truth is so simple and Feynman encapsulated it in a way so well.
Almost poetic, I would say.
Oh.. and I learn of it about a year ago.
ReplyDeleteOf course I knew that trees absorbed CO2 and gave off O2 years ago, but I never made the ... inspired... connection that Richard Feynman had done.
If children were taught this connection, I am sure it would make science just a little more interesting.
