Because you know who is afraid of his shadow and creeps back to hide-away.
Despite the alleged separation of church and state, BELIEF in Sustainability is widely held in American secular government. Judeo-Christian moral guidelines have been incrementally supplanted by what can best be described as neo-pagan ones. Consequently, notice where rulers never utter a harsh word against Malthusian, Utilitarian, Green and Islamistophilic nutcases. There the ruled are at grave risk.

Phony Comaraderie
This morning's email brought the following solicitation.
Checking in
To
- Christie Fogarty [
info@heritage.org] - Today at 12:30 PM
me
Hey Pascal,
I wanted to check in to see if you'll be able to contribute towards Heritage's million dollar goal by the December 31 deadline.
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Blah, blah.
Blah, blah, and blah.Response:
All my best,
Christie Fogarty
Director of Membership
The Heritage Foundation
P.S. The Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your gift by December 31 is tax-deductible.
Hey Christie (if that's your real name),
Your "Hey Pascal" greeting is the kind that I receive from buddies with whom I email back and forth regularly.
Am I now one of your buddy correspondents that this greeting seems appropriate?
It's
been my experience that emails of this sort come from a mass mailing,
and that yours is a one way email address that accepts no incoming.
Bottom line: it's a waste of any recipient's time to respond to them as they would with any of their buddies.
So, next time, don't even consider greeting me with you condescending "Hey" at the least.
In fact, you may address me as Mr. Fervor. Make some attempt to begin on the right foot.

Orwellian America
When I read this headline at Breitbart.com,
Jeb Bush: GOP Doesn't Need Conservatives to Win 2016, Should Not Defund Exec Amnesty,
the words from Orwell's 1984 came to mind; a dire threat to the every man.
O'Brien: If you want a vision of the future, Winston, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.
It occurs to me: surely that's an overreaction. But is it really?

Even Bright People Can't or Won't See Layers
When Dem senator Charles Schumer came out the other day against Obamacare, a friend of mine called excitedly to tell me of the news. It delighted him that the Dems were splitting.
I tried to convince him that Schumer is a long time hack, but quite shrewd in his manipulation of the news. (In that he always has been helped and never hindered by the SSM. That made it easier and, so, makes him look smarter than he really is.)
My friend just would not see it as that.
Then backing up my suspicions this piece came to my attention today.
Second Take: Schumer's Merely Attempting a Trial Balloon Tactic of Distancing Democrats From Obamacare, While Continuing to Support and Defend It
See the layers of the statements so you can figure out the underlying meaning. Look for and at the layers.
Sometimes it's like peeling an onion, and can make you cry. But it needs to be done.

I thought the Schumer statement -- in which he criticized Obama for pushing Obamacare in 2010, instead of addressing the needs of the And The Middle Class -- was important.Bottom line: Because we don't have a truly independent press to provide us the proper cynical views about politicians, especially about Dems, and usually about GOPe, the task has fallen to the people themselves.
But now I think it's just so much positioning. With Elizabeth Warren now endorsing his statement (!!!), it seems obvious to me that this does not represent a true schism in the Democrat Party, but rather a way to snooker the voters again, to Gruber them anew.

QOTD for Car Guys
Reflecting upon the following assessment on women by a woman
Women can be entertaining, but they’re expensive, inaccessible for most men, and from the male perspective, shockingly unreliable.Francis W Porretto evoked an appropriate connection that you may never forget.
Well, yes, but you could say the same about Lamborghinis, and we certainly don’t stop desiring them for those trifling reasons.

Because it IS a Soviet-Style Media After All
The question -- answered by the headline above -- was asked by the man who has been tracking Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber all these years.
Furthermore, I recommend all read the article posted by Ace who highlighted this quote,
and then listen to the first 50 minutes of Mark Levin from his show last night (11/10/14).
What is to be done about the revelations is problematic.
Any erstwhile leader who has even a plausible and not yet viable idea will indeed find many willing followers in America.
God help us. I suspect He is not getting any legitimate calls for help from the GOPe.
Weinstein, back at home, was stunned at the reaction. Why did he keep finding Gruber gaffes? Why didn't the press glom onto this stuff first?Yes Mr. Weinstein. A Soviet-Style media reports on only that news which allows the soviet-style government to operate with impunity; to hell with the voters it allegedly represents.
Furthermore, I recommend all read the article posted by Ace who highlighted this quote,

GOPe/Dem Coalition is STILL Steering
US over a cliff.
The elections just completed proves that a large number of Americans have had enough of the radical agenda.
The problem is that the GOP is not really a conservative party. It's an amalgam of conservatives and Progs. And the Progs are in the leadership and control the agenda. The nicest acronym used to refer to them is GOPe (Republican portion of the Establishment). Readers of this blog know I deride RINO (Republican In Name Only) and prefer SKUNC (Statist Kooks Undermining our Nation's Constitution). Whatever label you use for the GOPe, every principled conservatives has felt how it hates them.
In each and every corner of America a discussion needs to begin today. More people need to know that whatever mischief the GOPe manages to pull off in the next cycle, it is not the fault of conservatives.
The aim of that discussion is to come up with ways to divert the Establishment's steering of our republic over the cliff.
I'm an old man and I'm quickly running out of steam. If you think this idea is worth pursuing, then please comment below. I cannot contribute my assets, limited though they may be, to this effort if I don't even know you really want to try.

What more need I say?
Maybe this.
Reread the warning under my masthead and consider bundling it with this story to those who scoff at such concerns.
Then pray that there are those near the highest levels of influence who will be reinvigorated with the holy spirit. That there remain some who still can affect changes in global policies that are not misanthropic and/or Malthusian pessimistic.

SSM Switches Gears
Here's the image of the pissed off community organizer that the SSM hid from America for six years.
Drudge headlines accompanying this image says
"CROWD WALKS OUT ON O"
Sure. The SSM wants to tell those it misled all these years that it is him who is the problem and not the deadliness that is their Leftist bent.
But those of us who recognize a character who is one (rather than having any) saw something our fellow citizens didn't see.
We saw this image before it was published.
It represents the soul of this creature from long before the time he became the darling of the SSM.
And what the American soul needs most is to understand how this is also the real image for every damned SKUNC in the country.
When he has a run in with a principled conservative, this is the image John McCain hides behind his smirk.
When she has to answer to a truly God-fearing man, this is image Hillary struggles to hide.
Peel away the smiling façade and this is what every Prog in the country looks like when they encounter tax payers who have had enough of Prog rule.
Know that SSM is disclosing this image because it thinks we are stupid enough to trust it now that it is willing to show Obola as he really is.
Don't buy it for a minute.

Falsehoods In Headlines and Fundraising
Obama Craters to New Low in Poll, Democrats at Lowest Approval in 30 Years
Let me either inform you or -- in a few instances -- remind you of some relatively recent history.
A few years ago, Robert Mugabe, president of Zimbabwe, had even lower approval ratings than this. And yet he won reelection.
AndSaint Jimmie
Carter blessed the election process. And the Western SSM blessed it too. No election fraud worth noting. Would they lie to you?
So you believe that such headlines are hopeful? Why? Because it's much better to be hopeful than angry, and that is how manhood in America has been conditioned these last few generations. Generations have been mouthing the last lines of the National Anthem while ignoring the implications of those words.
Certainly not brave enough to put an end to voter fraud, which is likely the most fatal of all frauds to any republic.
In case this is not enough. I received an email yesterday. Allegedly from John Boehner. It was so brazen in its request for money, I momentarily thought it could be from the Democrats employing psi-op counter-measures. Except the GOPe does think so poorly of its conservative grass-roots base that believe they can still get us to send money to them rather than to individual conservative candidates.
First of all, if the GOPe really were interested in garnering votes, they'd be sending out emails for get out the vote (GOTV) efforts. From all reports, as well as from personal experience, this is simply no longer done.
But instead, they are begging us for funds. And you know how they'll spend those funds.
Secondly, we know from their own words that the GOPe, led by Boehner and McConnell, has proclaimed that they'll not fight Obamacare or anything else that is unconstitutional but well established by now. Too many moneyed interests are making money. In other words, the GOPe are conservative in precisely the negative -- don't-you dare-rock-the-boat-or-else -- sense. I for one want nothing to do with them unless rope is nearby.
So if you, like me, are a conservative in the principled, constitutional republic loving sense, then understand how they are playing on your conscience that not funding them is doing not enough.
And if you buy that, you've already bought the proverbial Brooklyn Bridge and the GOPe's disregard for your intelligence is indeed well founded. This is our alleged alternative to the radical Progs? G-d help us!
Sigh. The Prog murder of our once great republic continues apace. Pray.

Our team at the NRCC sent me the spreadsheet of recent supporters and I don't see your name on the list. We need all of our grassroots supporters engaged in these final weeks before Election Day.
The Democrats' campaign machine is desperate and it's stepping up attacks - if we don't have the resources to respond we could come up short when votes are counted.
etc.,etc.

- Largely spent buying adds that will keep the SSM quite well funded and tearing us apart with divisive stories, fictions, and mindless entertainment.
- And keeping the professional election fund raisers well paid.
Secondly, we know from their own words that the GOPe, led by Boehner and McConnell, has proclaimed that they'll not fight Obamacare or anything else that is unconstitutional but well established by now. NRSC, Your Money, and Lenin
IIRC, Lenin famously predicted that capitalists would sell him the rope to hang them with.
It seems the Prog NRSC thinks it can beg conservatives for money with which to campaign against the grass roots but with which it claims it will use against Democrats. Bridge in Brooklyn unneeded.
Every penny sent to the NRSC is fungible. They may claim to use it for one thing, but it can be put to use where the leadership thinks the money will do them the most good.
The money will be spent not "to bring new leadership" as they promise, but to defend its incumbents and even to funnel some money to Dems in order to defeat real conservatives as happened in the Mississippi primary for U.S. Senate.
And in Kansas. And Nebraska. And in Indiana two years ago.
If you have some money burning a hole in your pocket, better to give it to the beggars outside 7-11. They certainly would do less harm to the republic than the Prog leadership that is the NRSC.
I pray SKUNCs in both parties are visited by an Eleventh Plague.
Let me be perfectly clear on this. That prayer is an update on the Tenth Plague. What they intend to happen to decent Americans winds up boomeranging back on themselves.

NRSC Breaking News
To: Me
After months of predicting GOP victory, the Washington Post's statistical model now shows a 51 percent chance that the Democrats hang on.
Why?
The answer is simple – the Democrats are spending over $40 million more than the Republicans in battleground races. For weeks, our candidates have been holding on, despite a relentless barrage of negative ads – but we need your help now or it's over.
I know that times are tough, that's why we're fighting so hard to bring new leadership that will turn things around. But, if we don't rally together now – as a team – then we will lose as individuals.
Can we count on you? [followed by links to donate]

Here's Your Sus Worshipers America
From this weekend's Climate March in NYC
This is the primitive Pagan type worship that your American government is establishing.
Fight, fight, fight.
See this as an example suggested in my series about the evidence that an American State religion is being created in violation of the Constitution.
* Environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lamented that there were no current laws on the books to punish global warming skeptics. From the same link were more links that provided us an insight to the more violent ideas influencing RFK Jr, suggesting punishments much worse and unlawful than merely jail.

Misanthropic Tactic Number 1
I'm calling this tactic number 1 of the misanthropes because their contempt for "lesser" humanity seems affirmed each time they can get some dunce to believe that large gains can come from small falsehoods. That they managed to sell a Brooklyn Bridge to the dunce at little cost and great benefit to them is only the practical goal. Proving there are so many dunces is what makes them feel best.

That Story of Stuff series of videos is a complete throwback to the early Marxist anti-industrialists. The Left could never win where the middle class was benefiting by being "exploited" by all that industry. Most certainly not the generations closest to those that had escaped European and Asian tyrannies.
But now with theCAGW CACC hoax's never-ending propaganda by the SSM and academia, they have numbskulls (with no inkling of the despots their forebears escaped from) thinking that they own the moral high ground if only they go along with the hoax. (The morality component and how it is used is explained in my essay series Fighting the Growth of Theocracy in America.)

SSM the Villain in Ferguson, Poll Says
Poll says? Why should anyone need a poll to know this?
Poll: Black & White Ferguson Residents Agree - Media Made Things Worse
On August 21 I posted this: How the SSM* Came to Be the Biggest Villain
If I can see it, anyone can see it. What's the matter American: gotta have a poll to see first if others will agree?
Damned cowards can't bring themselves to stick their necks out and speak the obvious -- for fear of sounding different.
Just because G-d did not strike you down for your cowardice doesn't mean He doesn't expect you to see your need to overcome it.
----------------
*SSM = Soviet-style media. This trait alone ought be enough to condemn them. In Ferguson it was so blatant that someone decided to ask the poll question. I'm sure the more moronic editors are proud of themselves when they should be fearful.

Fighting the Growth of Theocracy in America -- Part 2
I was going to follow up by adding some of the details I had removed from the draft in Part 1. For now it should be sufficient for you to read what Og posted at Neanderpundit » The new priesthood of junk science, where he included much from that draft.
Instead I will provide you with some words that help reveal the nasty side of those seeking to establish Sustainability as this new state religion in America specifically; but ultimately all over the globe.
The alternate title for this post could be "Knowing Neither Morals, Nor What is High Ground"
Five months later an anonymous convert to Sus worship felt compelled to contribute the following:
For instance, since not all conservatives are religious it proves he's flat wrong about conservative certainty about afterlife.
Another example, more to the point, is how he sees caring for the environment as a liberal/conservative divide. That's a typical presumption of the indoctrinated Left. But it is over means where the divide appears. The Sus worshiper presumes any people who do not fall in line with his methods are -- when not cast as evil -- benighted at best; beneath him in understanding. His tone throughout his remonstration is bigoted: resistors are immoral by default; they can employ no reason in their defense.
That's only a small indication of the kind of danger inherent from a Sustainability state religion whose priests would help draft law. Much like Imans do with Sharia Law for IS.
Disagree only with his religion, he declares you a heretic.
Give him influence over laws, he makes you an outlaw.
Here is my response to anonymous, published on the same day his comment appeared. He was probably a troll as he did not respond.

Those working hard to make our society function like [Prince] Charlie's favorite slum aren't moving to their own collective farms. Instead they are transforming our society into the collective farm while pretending that their calculated destruction of our prosperity is smart and modern. These words are from Daniel Greenfield's The Environmental Apocalypse published in April.
Five months later an anonymous convert to Sus worship felt compelled to contribute the following:
Fighting the destructive side of capitalist economies is not easy. So maybe the practices employed cause odd side-effects or don't pay as well as mining ores whose side effect is poisoning a town's water supply, but wouldn't you rather err on the side of caution for the sake of your kids and theirs when you're gone? This has very many incredibly off observations, so it would not be hard to fisk it merely for amusement.
I'm often shocked by the attitudes conservatives have about the unknowns of global warming when they are so adamantly sure of the unknown of the afterlife. If you are good in this life with the aim of securing a place in heaven, why would you jeopardize the ability of those who come after you to have a good life when it is their turn? Whether there is a heaven or not, you will be good in the chance of going there when your time has come. Whether fossil fuels, CO2 emissions, etc. cause global warming, wouldn't you rather reduce this risk than to find out it is the cause and that you attributed to it? It seems so insignificant that people would lose money when it's weighed against your grandchildren living without food when severe droughts and lack of clean water or power sources could threaten the food supply. It seems that doubting global warming is like playing Russian roulette because the odds are in your favor, never mind that pointing a gun at your head is a stupid idea.
For instance, since not all conservatives are religious it proves he's flat wrong about conservative certainty about afterlife.
Another example, more to the point, is how he sees caring for the environment as a liberal/conservative divide. That's a typical presumption of the indoctrinated Left. Part 3 "Those Forced to Pass a Religious Test Have Standing in Court.""Whether fossil fuels, CO2 emissions, etc. cause global warming, wouldn't you rather reduce this risk than to find out it is the cause and that you attributed [sic] to it? "Your argument relies too much on the Precautionary Principle. Using it, you have chosen fear of shortages as your religion. As such, you see it trumping all other considerations, including the most essential of America's promises to its posterity: defending individual liberties.
Not that you'd acknowledge it, but conservatives and libertarians wish to protect individuals from all religious zealots, including such as yourself who "knows" what's good for everyone else and their posterity.
Yours is a throwback to tyrannies that had all the rest of humanity in servitude of one form or another as symbolized by the broken chains at the feet of the Statue of Liberty.
Indeed, your fears of shortages are even more primitive than that. It's tied to ancient human sacrificing Pagan religions, the successful rebellion from which was endowed by the Judeo-Christian ethos which your priests wish to eliminate and supplant.
Your views are uninformed because those who taught you your dogma need you to stay ignorant.
No poor anonymous: yours is NOT the moral high ground your priests pretend to stand upon. You are speaking from the pit of despair that Daniel, above, says that they've convinced you to accept for you and yours. And the actions you promote would throw the whole world back into chains so as to keep you company.
Do yourself the favor and break the chains on your mind before you find yourself thrown in the new gulags by those who trained you to be their useful idiot.

"I keep thinking we should include something in the Constitution in case the people elect a fucking moron."
"By then, sir, it will be too late.
Even the most astute commentators will constantly resort to vulgar participles to make their points."
"Even worse than that sir.
The people will never, ever ascribe malice to ills when they may project their own stupidity on the miscreants. Their re-enslavement will feel better that way."
