Every once in awhile it is helpful to take note how easy it is to prank people. In this one, each unsuspecting mark undoubtedly feared for his or her life at least for a moment.
Enjoy "Fast & Furious Nerd Shocks Instructors."
Despite the alleged separation of church and state, BELIEF in Sustainability is widely held in American secular government. Judeo-Christian moral guidelines have been incrementally supplanted by what can best be described as neo-pagan ones. Consequently, notice where rulers never utter a harsh word against Malthusian, Utilitarian, Green and Islamistophilic nutcases. There the ruled are at grave risk.

What Have You Done for Me Lately Lefty?
This is a question that all Leftists (and liberals still unaware that
Leftists see them as useful idiots) had better be able to answer to those in
power:
When you either don't have an answer or finally lose something those in power wanted, below the break is a hint of what to expect as a reward for all your past service.
What have you done for us lately?
When you either don't have an answer or finally lose something those in power wanted, below the break is a hint of what to expect as a reward for all your past service.
Is Obama Sunni or Shia?
I've been told that this is the question being asked all around the Middle East. I wonder what the answer will be?

When the blinders are ripped off, it's not always cause to celebrate
When liberal groups split off from long time allies because the long time allies expose themselves as really the kind of villains conservatives have long warned the liberal group they were aiding, there is both a sigh of relieve in our side AND the nagging feeling that "maybe they are just looking to save face now that the atrocities of their former partner is so blatantly out in the open."
http://www.clarionproject.org/news/amnesty-international-severs-ties-rights-group-cage
Liberal groups tend, as a whole, to automatically detest conservative groups simply because they have done it for so long. Their indoctrination has been that strong.
So even when all that the conservative groups have warned about proves to be true, the liberal groups tend to give them NO credit.
This could be remedied except for the fact that there are far too many establishment moles within conservative groups who will make sure that the liberals are disenchanted once again, and very soon.
Remember folks. There is no Left and Right. There is really only Up and Down. Profess it. Let Ronald Reagan show you how. http://pascalfervor.blogspot.com/2014/02/200-reward-for-verified-copy-82-83.html

Thirty Years: Yikes!
It was only yesterday that the Los Angeles Marathon began. Yet here it is, the 30th. It always starts near my home at about 7AM and thus it is hard to go anywhere until they open the streets again. This year, because of the route, I would have had to go 3-4 miles North If I wanted to take my car to the other side of the freeway!
This picture -- of later runners entering my neighborhood -- is the nearest overpass over that freeway.
Update: It is actually 30 events and only 29 years.
It's a matter of discrete events beginning with the number 1 and called the first.
Ordinal numbers, not anniversaries of birth.
Still, it seems like yesterday that L.A. thought they oughta follow the lead of other major cities for a change rather than be the trend setter. LOL for the irony.

Rejoice
My wisteria bloomed in full this week. While I cannot provide you with its wonderful fragrance that is driving my bees into ecstasy, I encourage you to use your imagination.
Our imagination is important, especially to aid our optimism when all else seems discouraging. Please let this photo serve as a reminder that even in seasonless Southern California, Spring announces her return with vibrancy and vitality nevertheless.
Perhaps this helps explain why it is said "hope Springs eternal."
For those of you have still to dig out of the depths of a real winter, and especially for all who recognize that this is time of descending darkness in the political realm, this is a gift to you from him who, too often, sounds like Jeremiah.

Call Their Lies Out As Evil, Not Deranged
The Statists and their Leftist shock troops are totally shameless. Mocking them as deranged is a deflection.
It serves to prepare decent people for the fight that is coming. It is essential to fully understand that the enemy is evil and not merely deranged.
As an example, JWF posted the following headline today.
Peak Walker Derangement Syndrome: ‘Who’s Scarier: Scott Walker or ‘Jihadi John’?’
Jammie was asserting derangement despite various SSM having retracted the bogus story about WI Gov Scott Walker, the Left wackos kept up the attacks as if they never heard the truth.
Just as Jammie finds it hard to believe that the Leftoids don't know the facts, so that their persistence is a sign of derangement, I find it hard to believe that he is unaware of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, a publication Alinsky himself dedicated to the Lord of Darkness.
So I left the following understated reproval for Jammie and any others who foolishly believe it is better to play it safe by describing the despicable tactic of unrelenting personal abuse -- the spreading known lies in deliberate, personal attacks -- as signs of insanity instead.

The List of Lost Liberties -- Levin
Mark Levin, concluding his opening segment, declared,
All of this can be found by listening to the opening 15 minutes of the podcast. (BTW, also try to find time to listen to Sue in the last 15 minutes of the podcast. What she has to report about Obama's plan to further Balkanize us is worth the time.)
2/26/15-Mark Levin Audio Rewind (1:53:22)
We lost more liberty today.
"A growing police state in the name of seeking security all as he hollows out the military from within."
"The Republican Party is a throwback party. Not the party of Lincoln that stood up to slavery. Not the party of Reagan who stood up to the Soviet Union. An old, fat, directionless Republican party that exists to serve its leaders, its bureaucrats and its operatives, not the American people."
"The Democrat Party is a radical, statist party. (Seeks at every turn to destroy individual liberty, state sovereignty, private property rights and the rule of law.) A party led by fanatics who seek power to rule over you. To rule over everything you do, large and small. Whatever it is, they want to control it because they want to control you. A despotic party with a despotic leader in the White House."
When people say we're losing our country, they're wrong.Everything that follows below is my short synopsis of the points he raised (evidence he provided not included) before arriving at that conclusion.

Demonstrating How the Left Is NOT Liberal
When will the liberals you know finally understand how the Left is not Liberal? And, further has really only ployed that label in the past in order to make its gains?
I think In Left's Always Mutating Mutant Hierarchy, Muslims Are The New Gay by Ace of Spades will help you get through to those liberals who know you and maybe even love you.
Excerpts:
I have copied the whole piece (with a different title for the email) and sent it off with a simple introduction asking the questions I asked at the top.
I think In Left's Always Mutating Mutant Hierarchy, Muslims Are The New Gay by Ace of Spades will help you get through to those liberals who know you and maybe even love you.
Excerpts:
Jamie Kirchick writes on a bunch of topics related to identity politics in this long piece; worth reading. He examines the Rock-Paper-Scissors hierarchy of victims; Muslims are now at the top of the Victim Period, and at the very bottom, of course, are Jews, who really aren't even considered by the left to be victims at all, even when they're murdered. Even as they lay dying on the street, they're Oppressors.
[Ace quoting Kirchick]:
Consider the administration's initial response to the murder of three Muslim-Americans in North Carolina last week, the motive for which, at the time, was unclear. The day after the incident, with the FBI inquiry into the matter having just been launched, the president himself released a statement declaring that "No one in the United States of America should ever be targeted because of who they are, what they look like, or how they worship." It stands in contrast to White House spokesman Josh Earnest's deplorable remark that the victims of the Paris attack "were killed not because of who they were but because of where they randomly happened to be."
...
The latest FBI crime statistics report six times as many hate crime incidents directed against Jews as they do against Muslims. Likewise in Europe, Jews are more likely to be victimized by hate crime than Muslims, who are themselves usually the perpetrators of anti-Semitic attacks.
It's a good piece, deriding the left's vicious Jacobins....
All of these fanatical movements purge their least-monstrous members. In the French Revolution, the Liberals went to the guillotines first; then the Constitutionalists; then the Girondists. Each group went along with the guillotining of the next group, thinking -- or just hoping -- that if they agreed to guillotine the next batch, they themselves would be spared the National Razor.
But they weren't. Including, in the end, the Jacobins themselves, who were all fed into the guillotines.
I have copied the whole piece (with a different title for the email) and sent it off with a simple introduction asking the questions I asked at the top.

The Less Nasty Reason for Amnesty
The more nasty reason is that it allows jihadis to sneak across the
border and join the imported army hiding out in the mosques with their
cached weopons.
If the Western press, the Soviet-style Media, succeeds in keeping that traitorous thought from becoming commonly understood for the deadly threat that it is, then the following may be allowed to become the meme that replaces it.
The less nasty reason is, quite simply, that both parties have aligned to allow 0 to fast-track the importation of a new American citizenry more to their liking.
The Mexican and Central American peasants, being accustomed to a very limited set of opportunities by their despotic upper classes, view coming to America as a chance of a lifetime. And it is and will continue to be for some unknown short-term.
This is especially so because they are given that all sorts of socialist goodies from the moment they cross the border, making the traditional American lure of an opportunity to make a good life from ones own abilities run as a distant second lure.
In a post from 2011, Ameristocracy Targeting TJICs, I coined the phrase Ameristocracy. Please read it.
The incoming third-worlders, long accustomed to being abused by their despots, are more accepting of their new, more benign, Norte American despots. They, as a lower class from rigidly classed societies, cannot understand why native Norte Americanos could be concerned.
Native Americans are simply not malleable enough to be relied upon to go along with the ever more demanding desires of our Ameristocracy and its ruling class. So a population that IS more accustomed to being bossed around is highly desirable and so welcomed open arms.
It serves to dilute voter resistance to the extent that voting still has any meaning.
And what bothers me most about this is that although it is bad that America is on the fast track to becoming a more rigidly classed society that it never really has been (upward mobility has long been an American dream come true time and again), it IS the less nasty reason for why amnesty is bad.
You do recall what the more nasty reason is don't you? Jihadis hiding amongst the invaders.
It would be a good thing were these peasants would come to understand how short-lived their improved life will be once the more nasty reason became "kinetic."
However, how in the world could we ever convey to them that they are welcomed here because they serve as useful idiots in providing cover for terrorists? Given how impossible it has been to convey to our fellow native Americans (with no language barrier) how deadly is our Ameristocracy to the existence of America as the home for individual freedom.
Pray.

Loser Maher Publicized by Breitbart.com
The "Right" side of the SSM, Breitbart.com, has chosen to pedal, not one, not two, but three links to videos of Bill Maher's nonsense. Maher could never garner such a large audience as Breitbart potentially could give him.
Bottom line
SSM will do whatever it takes to keep you irritated, even if it has to resort to the words of a worm 3 times each hour.

This Post Cost Me At Least $65K
Yes. To many folks I am still out of my mind. It is now well more than 2 years since I turned 66. I haven't bothered to find out how much more my monthly draw would be because I've not filed a claim for social security. Simply based on the base amount available at 66, the total is now in excess of $65,000.
A couple of too clever fellows have winked at me "not taking it now means you'll get more when you do take it." The fact is I'd have to live to be more than 100 to make up that difference. That's not a good bet even without real inflation considerations. Some people just can't accept that though I'm obviously intelligent that I'd actually do such a thing. Or even worse from their standpoint: that there might be many more people like me. Afterall, such people serve to make our trough-swilling pols and their beneficiaries look even worse than they currently are.
I'm sure they much rather think that I'm either dishonest or nuts. Sorry fellows. It's not about what you think or feel at all.
I continue to thank the Lord that I have not needed to file. That's good enough for me.

Phony Comaraderie
This morning's email brought the following solicitation.
Checking in
To
- Christie Fogarty [
info@heritage.org] - Today at 12:30 PM
me
Hey Pascal,
I wanted to check in to see if you'll be able to contribute towards Heritage's million dollar goal by the December 31 deadline.
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Blah, blah.
Blah, blah, and blah.Response:
All my best,
Christie Fogarty
Director of Membership
The Heritage Foundation
P.S. The Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your gift by December 31 is tax-deductible.
Hey Christie (if that's your real name),
Your "Hey Pascal" greeting is the kind that I receive from buddies with whom I email back and forth regularly.
Am I now one of your buddy correspondents that this greeting seems appropriate?
It's
been my experience that emails of this sort come from a mass mailing,
and that yours is a one way email address that accepts no incoming.
Bottom line: it's a waste of any recipient's time to respond to them as they would with any of their buddies.
So, next time, don't even consider greeting me with you condescending "Hey" at the least.
In fact, you may address me as Mr. Fervor. Make some attempt to begin on the right foot.

Orwellian America
When I read this headline at Breitbart.com,
Jeb Bush: GOP Doesn't Need Conservatives to Win 2016, Should Not Defund Exec Amnesty,
the words from Orwell's 1984 came to mind; a dire threat to the every man.
O'Brien: If you want a vision of the future, Winston, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.
It occurs to me: surely that's an overreaction. But is it really?

Even Bright People Can't or Won't See Layers
When Dem senator Charles Schumer came out the other day against Obamacare, a friend of mine called excitedly to tell me of the news. It delighted him that the Dems were splitting.
I tried to convince him that Schumer is a long time hack, but quite shrewd in his manipulation of the news. (In that he always has been helped and never hindered by the SSM. That made it easier and, so, makes him look smarter than he really is.)
My friend just would not see it as that.
Then backing up my suspicions this piece came to my attention today.
Second Take: Schumer's Merely Attempting a Trial Balloon Tactic of Distancing Democrats From Obamacare, While Continuing to Support and Defend It
See the layers of the statements so you can figure out the underlying meaning. Look for and at the layers.
Sometimes it's like peeling an onion, and can make you cry. But it needs to be done.

I thought the Schumer statement -- in which he criticized Obama for pushing Obamacare in 2010, instead of addressing the needs of the And The Middle Class -- was important.Bottom line: Because we don't have a truly independent press to provide us the proper cynical views about politicians, especially about Dems, and usually about GOPe, the task has fallen to the people themselves.
But now I think it's just so much positioning. With Elizabeth Warren now endorsing his statement (!!!), it seems obvious to me that this does not represent a true schism in the Democrat Party, but rather a way to snooker the voters again, to Gruber them anew.
See the layers of the statements so you can figure out the underlying meaning. Look for and at the layers.

QOTD for Car Guys
Reflecting upon the following assessment on women by a woman
Women can be entertaining, but they’re expensive, inaccessible for most men, and from the male perspective, shockingly unreliable.Francis W Porretto evoked an appropriate connection that you may never forget.
Well, yes, but you could say the same about Lamborghinis, and we certainly don’t stop desiring them for those trifling reasons.

Deranged in the face of facts? Oh please Jammie. It’s Alinsky evil.
In this instance, a combination of rules 6, 8 and 12.
Evil tactics, not simple errors committed by deranged nuts. Headline that instead Jammie.
