A story highlighted by Peter Grant here caused me suddenly to grok how deep into decline we have drifted.
This study he brings to our attention come with a pinkish hue to it. That is because it
equates cleaning up badly affected sections of our world in only monetary terms. The once still
vibrant society understands there is far more unpaid interpersonal
involvement required, and that its value is priceless.
Sadly, what is
now deemed as priceless in the current advanced state of our
civilization has been relegated mostly as oddities in a commercial
tagline.
Because of that pricelessness, our state of decline is very difficult to quantify.
Better to understand how far we've declined is to see that it is quality and not a quantity that has been lost. That loss was of something very dear.
I mourn the loss.
The ones who celebrate have earned but have yet to collect their reward.
Despite the alleged separation of church and state, BELIEF in Sustainability is widely held in American secular government. Judeo-Christian moral guidelines have been incrementally supplanted by what can best be described as neo-pagan ones. Consequently, notice where rulers never utter a harsh word against Malthusian, Utilitarian, Green and Islamistophilic nutcases. There the ruled are at grave risk.

Lying to Fellow Jews
I wonder. Is Debbie Wasserman-Shultz perhaps related to the Sergeant Shultz [image] -- a character inspired by the behavior of the Juden Polizei?
She, along with an overpaid idiot at the ADL (Jonathan Greenblatt, a former advisor to Obama no less), came out swinging at Mike Huckabee -- whom I personally detest -- for saying what any sane Jew should be saying. In short, for saying that the Iran deal is allowing Iran to turn the entire nation of Israel into a Jewish oven. A sane Jew is one who has heard "Never Again" reverberating in their ears their entire lives. That clearly leaves out Mrs. Shultz. (Hmmm. Is she less Jewish and more a gut German?)
My Dad told me -- a man who was a contemporary of many of your great grandfathers -- that the lowest form of Jew during WW II was the one who, for few extra rations, worked for the Nazis. Their job was in keeping their fellow Jews from speaking out about what was happening to them. Preventing them from speaking of the truth parading daily in front of their eyes. Their job was to see that news of the Final Solution going on all around them was denied by all -- or else!
Back then Sergeant Shultz would be tasked with enforcing "You know nutting!" amongst her fellow Jews.
And back then she also would have had the decency to wear one of these on her sleaves so that we knew for whom she was really working.
Yep. The Juden Polizei's job was to make sure nobody spoke out or acted against government plans.

Sitting Senator Breaks Collective Silence
Why did it take until today for a sitting senator to state what has been obvious to principled conservatives for decades?
The answer is that the senate has a tradition of enforced niceties, so frank language is usually very risky. Frankly, niceties are a luxury at this point, and it seems that Cruz is one of the few (like Mike Lee) who understand this.
However, at this point the two parties' combined action and inaction in destroying the rule of law -- the rule of law being essentially what has made this a great republic -- appears irreversible. So for a sitting senator breaking the collective silence about bipartisan complicity not only seems too late, it looks too much like it is being done for personal advancement, if not by Lee, at least by Cruz in his run for president.
Anyway, now seems like a good time for me to re-post the cartoon I commissioned in 2002 when things were still not that far out of hand.
It is a crying shame that more people did not make many similar cartoons and repeatedly drive the point home when combined outrage by the electorate might have had a chance. Instead they waited until 2009 to form the TEA party movement.
It's such a pity that you may not live to see how bad it can become and that your posterity will pay for the consequences of your lack of vision.
“We’ve just seen something extraordinary on the Senate floor. The American people elected a Republican majority believing that a Republican majority would be somehow different from a Democratic majority in the United States Senate. Unfortunately, the way the current Senate operates, there is one party, the Washington party.” -- Senator Ted Cruz ("Independent," TX)

Rick Perry At His GOPe Hack 'Best'
Rick Perry demonstrating how he’s a GOPe hack.
"Rick Perry Says Donald Trump Should Be Disqualified Over McCain Comments"
He goes into high dudgeon, using his own veteran status as cover, to lambast Trump for dissing McCain’s worn out exploitation of his service. Under normal circumstances — such as political conditions of 30 years ago — I’d agree with Perry. But not today.
Here is a useful tool to help you recognize and expose all GOPe hacks.
Watch the video. As you do, imagine Perry (or any GOPe) getting as hot over Obama's utter lack of concern for our troops and our vets. Or condemning Hillary for her deadly role in Benghazi. Can you imagine them doing it with the same degree of livid anger?
If you cannot imagine that, then you understand more than a thousand words could explain why Trump is drawing so much interest to himself. While Trump comes close to doing that, but I've never seen him this stern or employing this much ferocity.
The important point is to watch Perry’s face and you will find yourself wishing he’d use half as much effort to fight a Democratic POS.
And then you will realize why he and every other GOPe is NOT the answer. They always reserve their greatest animosity for lower class upstarts like us.
Seeing as who's got possession, perversion is now nine tenths of the law

Exposing More Climatism Lies
Today Los Angeles experienced a weather anomaly worth mentioning here because it and the consequences of it will be downplayed and lied about by our Soviet-Style Media.
Due to a tropical storm down in Baja California (this is Mexico's rainy season) and helpful low pressure region north of us plus some favorable current, we Angelenos got quite a lot of rain today IN THE MIDDLE OF JULY.
In my over forty years in California, I can attest that such is a very rare event indeed.
Now get this. I recently purchasing two 60 gallon rain barrels. I've hooked them up to my gutters' downspouts. Additionally I have another 60 gallon water collection barrel and an old 35 gallon plastic garbage barrel. I use both of these as a spare to catch overflow from each of the rain barrels.
Furthermore, I have a green 105 gallon garbage barrel that is provided by the city for the collection of garden waste that I rarely have need for because I compost my grass and fallen leaves. I need to put out trimmed branches maybe once every two months.
In what has been scattered showers throughout the day, I have filled both rain barrels and the green garbage barrel to capacity. Furthermore, the 35 gallon and 60 gallon barrels are about 20% filled. We are supposed to get some more rain tonight, and again on Monday (I don't know why Sunday is a day off), so I imagine they will be filled too before this is over.
That's 225+ gallons of rain water in one day. Mind you, none of these showers we had today were the really terrible downpours that have been legendary out here. The 120 gallons barrels filled themselves. I manually collected water from a puddles and that was how I filled the 105 gallon green barrel.
The point I wish to make is that California does not have a drought problem; it has a water storage problem. That lack of storage is due in part by law passed by a humanity-hating governor and state legislature. But even before that, the destruction of our water storage capacity was by court order due to humanity hating watermelon lawsuits funded by misanthropic non-profit foundations and your tax dollars.
By non-democratic procedures we have had our water storage capacity diminished.
And as you are coming to recognize about nearly everything that is being declared "legal," perversion is now 9/10 of the Law.

Perversion is Nine Tenths of the Law
Perversion is nine tenths of the law.
That's the maxim of the new world order being foisted upon previously relatively free peoples all over the globe.
The old maxim easily explains it.
Look at who and what is now in possession of the law.
