Laugh Your Butts Off At Rare Equanimity Under Media Pressure

I found this such a treat I had to share it here.

Time and again the interviewer tries to put words in his mouth and set other traps. And each time he laughs and sets the record straight. He simply won't be trapped. Not that day.

This was done so well, it is hard to imagine it how it could be staged. Still, could be.

And they didn't even give him good makeup. He looks a bit like death warmed over. Yeah, the grim reaper to this scalp-hunting but silly woman (no doubt trying to take him down as her back room was hoping).

LMAO Update: Watch: Cathy Newman’s catastrophic interview with Jordan Peterson

If I was Channel 4 I would take it down. If I was Cathy Newman I would sue or seek a super-injunction. I don’t think I have ever witnessed an interview that is more catastrophic for the interviewer.

  1. That was a very interesting debate. It was very low-key, and non contentious. If you didn't know to look for it, you might even miss his setting her straight so many times. This was not like Tucker Carlson and the libs he has on his show where it just becomes a shouting match. This was brilliance.

  2. The lack of contention was due greatly because this man has a handle on his emotions and is aware of the power of words. That's a large part of the brilliance in addition to his be able to command facts and focus them to whither Ms. Newman's repeated onslaughts.

Subsequent events indicate the radicals hate her for letting them down and perhaps even more for giving him a platform in the first place that allowed him to destroy their narrative in such a short span of time.

  3. I just realized that the difference between this debate and a Tucker Carlson debate is that in a Tucker Carlson debate Tucker is asking the questions and can't get his liberal interviewee to stay focused. In this case Peterson is being asked a question and he can correct his interviewer while answering her question.

    1. Good point Ed. It is a shame that this is the exception rather than the rule.

We could blame our education, but I suspect it has more to do with the demise of Western confidence, and that's frightening.

If more take Dr. Peterson's analyses to heart (see his extensive videos) about the source of Western exceptionalism, we'll have a revival.

  4. I watched the entire 'interview'last week, and more like an interrogation if you ask me. Peterson knows his subject and is able to generally predict the behaviour of his 'opponents' from his own studies. I believe that gives him an advantage over the aggressive interrogator that those on the Left have no answer to. Quoting fact will always trump idealist thinking.
