Man Thinks

Those who would rule you want you lowered to a howling or frightened lumpen-herd. They want you never to think of bigger things, of complex maneuvers. Most people reflexively shun the very idea of conspiracies because that's part of the conditioning. Occam's razor (keep is it simple stupid -- heh!) and Hanlon's Razor (mistakes are more likely than deliberate destruction -- no matter how often that happens -- heh, heh!). Just because there are stupid conspiracy theories, does not prove there are none who endeavor to conspire to take advantage of the ways the system functions or more precisely, is known to malfunction under certain stresses (Cloward-Piven). Besides, the First Triumvirate proves that powerful interests, even though enemies, can agree to short-circuit a republic just so the three or more involved can battle over control of the powerful nation that was built by the republic they aim to make into an empire.

So, today, thanks to a reminder by a reader form Kualar Lumpur, I am reprising a piece from late 2009, (before the TEA Party arose, or OWS was created to undermine its influence, and before the public employees unions tried to destroy Wisconsin) to remind us that it's our thinking that gives us a right to defend ourselves from tyrants.  Hence the tyrants don't want you thinking.

Defend Your Right to Exist

Nothing is more to be esteemed than aptness in discerning the true from the false. Other qualities of mind are of limited use, but precision of thought is essential to every aspect and walk of life. To distinguish accuracy from error is difficult not only in the sciences but also in the everyday affairs men engage in and discuss. Men are everywhere confronted with alternative routes--some true and others false--and reason must choose between them. Who chooses well has a sound mind, who chooses ill a defective one. Capacity for discerning accuracy is the most important measure of minds. --Antoine Arnauld The Art of Thinking

At the behest of a friend, I took the liberty of updating Arnauld's quote above to reflect our modern and scientific understanding of knowing (in keeping with the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle), and have replaced truth with accuracy.

Man is but a reed, the most feeble thing in nature, but he is a thinking reed. The entire universe need not arm itself to crush him. A vapor, a drop of water suffices to kill him. But, if the universe were to crush him, man would still be more noble than that which killed him, because he knows that he dies and the advantage which the universe has over him, the universe knows nothing of this.

All our dignity then, consists in thought. By it we must elevate ourselves, and not by space and time which we cannot fill. Let us endeavor then, to think well; this is the principle of morality.
-- Blaise Pascal Pensees 347

Marie Claude brought the first quote to my attention at Belmont Club. I chose to use the second as it represents how these two allies influenced each other, and because the Philosophy Department at Oregon State University chose to use those quotes (out of many) to introduce these two philosopher/scientists, maybe for the same reason. Most of all, they serve well as a theme for this short discussion. Individual's have the RIGHT to fight gangs of men who act  no differently than all the unknowing brutal forces of the universe.

These two quotes illuminate the capacity of any man to understand what he may in a manner different from other creatures, be he genius or imbecile. What we are witnessing today is that too many of our geniuses are inclined to believe that all below them are imbeciles, and thereby somehow less noble than they.

Maybe -- maybe -- if we lived in a global meritocracy, there might be some grounds for the elite to run things. For then the most trusted executives with the most morally discerning lieutenants, the most competent professionals, the most just legal system, and the most charitable ombudsmen, they all would share the governing of the rest of us. Benign angels sowing peace and prosperity among men.

But what we have now is far worse. Tighten your seat belts, because right now you can meet a slew of people with whom you share sympathetic views most of the time -- and they may instantly fly off the handle were you to dare repeat the following observation. While in the Twentieth Century we survived at least two presidents who embodied the Peter Principle, in this Century we have been inflicted with presidencies that exemplify the Dilbert Principle. Made men are rightfully squeamish about their status, but the men who made them are angered that you dare pull back the curtain so that too many others might comprehend their scheming.

When the left and right sides of the aisles of government get along far better with each other than any of them do with most of their constituents, what would we expect?
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
We would expect that the last and current men at the top got there because moneyed interests had sound expectations that their wishes would be heeded.

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss
I long ago discerned that  influential misanthropes must own the ear of many of our leaders simply because there no high profile party actively taking the contrary view (the "other side of the aisle") of the many proponents of negative population growth, while there was no lack of voices that found one thing or another wrong with religious faiths that consider innocent human life holy and deserving of protection and growth.

On top of it all, I believe I am not saying something new to you. Each of you has long ago suspected the same but were too trusting or too suppressed to bring it to voice. Heed your own senses! You have the gift of thought, and the natural instincts for self preservation. Stop acting like steers, and start acting like men again.  Know our wannabe masters want you enslaved and your drives perverted. Ignorance can be cured; you can cure it. No matter how much cowardice they have tried to inculcate in you, KNOW it is they who are that way by nature. Yes they may be ruthless, but they are cowards first. Make them fear you and you win.

The individual not only needs to resist the forces of conformity so that he may think more clearly for his own interests. He must encourage his neighbors to do the same. I know from experience, so I tell you that will be no easy task. Those who are looking to husband us like sheep need for us to look upon each other with more malice than we have for them.  S I N I S T E R  media exists for more than one reason!

Love God with all your might, and love your neighbor as yourself.

That credo is the reason our secular world is working so hard to destroy Judeo-Christianity. (And so, beware the institutions of the faiths, because our masters have them controlled; for where they are not co-opted by the worship of man, then by they are often coerced into silence by means of the threat of taxation -- "the power to destroy.")

Learn to discriminate leaders from managers.  Beware of managers for whom you are are of no consequence other than objects for their own advancement; they believe they are superior to you.

You are men. Don't let the balderdash, thrown up by postmodern science, and spread by the relentless propaganda of the "sky is falling" media, convince you to deny the logic and gut senses God has given you.

You HAVE the ability to think on your own, to learn all that you need, to seek out and secure your own interests. To hell with this paternalistic, all powerful state and its statists and fascists and nutters.

It is in you.

Well, That's Some Relief

I am happy to report that Ace came through with

Now Prosectutor Angela Corey Is Deceptively Editing-- Cutting Out Key Parts of Zimmerman's Wife's Testimony To Make It Sound Perjurious.

It's time to fire her. Her intent here is obvious: She cannot win the trial and she knows it. Nevertheless, she feels she needs scalps -- some jailtime -- to either prevent riots or make her career, or both.

So she's pressuring Zimmerman, by both her absurd overcharging of Murder Two and now a threat to jail his wife, by throwing a trumped-up perjury charge against her.

It's time for her to go.

Yay! Has anyone else out there made a point of explaining (as I have tried to do here) how Angela Corey and the Florida justice system have trampled George Zimmerman's rights under the 8th Amendment without a peep from the media and civil rights attorneys (assuming such news hasn't been suppressed by the Agency of Lies.)

Now get the significance of this news Dear Readers if it is true as reported at the link above to Bob Owens.

I'm sure you all recall how NBC had edited that 911 call -- editing out key portions of the questions of the 911 operator -- so as to make it sound like George was a racist.

Well the special prosecutor here did the same damn thing, except NOT IN A NEWS REPORT. Angela Corey did that sort of edit in order to keep her charge of felony perjury on Sherrie Zimmerman from being thrown out of court. Do you see why Ace thinks Corey belongs behind bars yet? Then tell everyone you know. The lawlessness will surely grow unless light shines on it to send the like of Corey back under her rock.

More on the Sham of "Conservative" Talk KRLA

KRLA has had the hubris to refer to their network as "The Answer" since the week that Heidi Harris was brought in to replace Glenn Beck in the 6-9AM slot.

Earlier today I griped about how one co-host on Heidi's show repeatedly referred to the Zimmerman's as liars. This has been the relentless Statist propagandist response to first George, and now Sherrie, with being charged with perjury over what was allegedly their personal finances for the purpose of setting bail (which anyway, as stated in Bill of Rights number 8, is only a guarantee against flight risk, and is not supposed to be a punishment for a man innocent until proven guilty).

The miscreant co-host, whose name I did not catch, was the identified "liberal" of the three on the show. Heidi and the other co-host are allegedly the conservative voices.

Yet, how did they respond to the guilty-as-charged Lefty propagandist. "Yes, it's bad to lie to a judge." and "It's sure to get you on the wrong side of the judge by lying to him." Yes, that's right, they accepted the Lefty's assertion without any hint of objection. Not a single hint of "whatever happened to referring to the charges against the Zimmerman's as merely allegations?" No. Instead they let the propaganda stand and indeed, implicitly agreed with. They are not helping our nation and its society one iota. Conservative my eye.

There they are: butt naked and without shame. That's what passes for "conservative" on the Salem Radio Network. And maybe that IS conservative. Dare not contradict the repetitive lies of the Statist wingers. Might rock our cushy little boat here to get on the wrong side of the Statists.

If you, Dear Reader, are already pissed off with what nasties were granted the "liberal" label for over half a century; and pissed off with what has been granted the "progressive" label for over a century (and only recently picked up by the Democrats to join with the country-club Republicans), then maybe you ought to be pissed off with what calls itself "conservative" now.

Conservative is supposed to represent rule of law, not rule of mob and its demagogues. Jeesh!

More and more I am appalled to be affiliated with what calls itself conservative. And the libertarians have gone off the rails ever since the Libertarians were infiltrated by the wackos previously kicked out of the Dem and Rep Parties. Classical liberal is more akin to how this country was founded even before the constitution was ratified.

There is nothing I can see that is close to the principles that are classical liberal at "conservative" Salem that don't have a Statist tinge to them today. And that includes two men I still have some regard for at Salem, Dennis Prager and Bill Bennett. I've got both on record as bowing to Statist spin rather than human rights. And just so that nobody here should be surprised, as pointed out in 2010 by Phil Muliver at Ohioans for Concealed Carry in Not-So-Conservative Talk Radio, anything which hampers your rights to guns was official policy under Czar Bennett when he worked for GHWBush.

Look: I fear I am thinking too much like Winston Smith when I rant like this.  That is, it appears my paraphrasing takes the form: Our only hope is in the proles blogs.

But that's not quite correct. If blogs such as this one can make a few more people aware of how the alleged alternative media really is NOT alternative, and gives you ideas so you can make your neighbors aware, then indeed there is SOME hope in these blogs.

Get to it.

Lying Propagandist Media — Anti-Justice Division

You should be angry. But that is only my opinion.

Just so you all notice and inform everyone you know so that they notice.

How many times have you heard our supposedly straight media repeat the word "alleged"used even in the most obvious criminal cases? In fact, even after a conviction, I've heard the words alleged convict strung together.

This all starts over reactions to the news yesterday that Sherrie Zimmerman was charged with perjury.

This morning – queuing up with other propagandists – I heard one co-host on an allegedly conservative talk radio, The Heidi Harris show (KRLA again),  refer to the Zimmerman's as [proven] liars, over and over again. Remember that this is all regarding their family finances before they knew the extent or availability of their defense fund. Besides, that was meant for George Zimmerman's defense and not his bail, and he has proven he is NOT a flight risk. Meanwhile the overcharging by the grand standing special prosecutor of George with 2nd degree murder is hardly even spoken of.

The whole point being to overwhelm George's 8th Amendment protections for political reasons. The reason, of course, is that the political class hates guns in private hands. So George is the political class' sacrificial lamb. That lamb represents YOU. Dammit folks.

But back to the reason I got fired up. A week ago I heard "fair-minded civil rights attorney" Leo Terrell (on KABC) [the sarcasm is in his own description, not mine] say the same things I heard today's talkshow co-host repeat over and over again. (The talking points for warming up the lynching mob I'd call it.) Repeatedly saying so-and-so 'is a liar; the wife is a liar; the whole family is a liar; now we know they are liars; they lie.'

That my friends is propaganda.

Guilty until proven innocent. Conviction and then the trial. If I am the only one making an issue of this today, this society deserves every bit of pain that is coming.

Wishful Thinking, Meaning Well, and Failing

So much that I attempt to write about gets left in draft, incomplete. I am publishing the following self-absorbed drivel because maybe it will provide a public service to others who find themselves similarly afflicted. I am open to suggestions as to how to prevail upon myself to achieve what I'd like, but it ultimately comes down to me doing the hard labor that I so often seek to avoid.

Og reminded me today that he had tried to get me to think more deeply of what he calls the Left and Right forces in play in our lives. I really don't recall exactly what his hypothesis was because as he was explaining it I went on one of my tangential side-trips inspired by his new way of viewing things. He saw it better than I do because I was of no help to him when he needed a sounding-board and multi-processor feedback back then.

It reminded me that I see the forces at play in our lives in a way nobody else I know seems to share. It should be no surprise to regular readers here that it is my opinion that anti-human forces (in humans themselves) play an immense role in how badly the plans and inventions of the brightest minds get turned to deadly outcomes.

And that further got me to reflect again about why I chose my online name that implies that this is the place to find the fervor that was Blaise Pascal's.

Did I already see the concept of God and love of life much as apparently did Blaise Pascal? Or did I only begin to comprehend those conceptions more deeply after I focused on how he showed hubris filled men and their nefarious plans could be defeated? I do not remember.

But what I did do, in adding the name Fervor, was seek to attain the level of his fervor, a sort of wishful thinking: a setting of a goal.

It is a sad self-recognition of my shortcomings that I have come in no way close to the level of that man's drive. My silence in the last month has troubled me. I far too often take solace in the thought: "if you have nothing worth putting in the effort to say properly – fully – better to say nothing." But as any good writer will tell me, it's in the discipline to write that gets you where you want to go.

Yet I have mixed results over the years in trying to follow that advice. Just this last month alone I started many commentaries on important subjects. Yet I did not find and draw upon what drive I needed to complete them. I failed to overcome either what I view as my laziness (being hard on myself) or my scattered-thoughts/forgetfulness (being charitable to myself), and maybe a good bit of oh-what's-the-use-ism.

When I see so much awful behavior transpiring in the world, micro and macro, I get angered by the lack of reflective, conscientious commentary about society's failings being at the root of so much of it. And I find that that anger passes far too quickly to keep me fired-up to write. Maybe that is precisely how I and a good number of my generation were conditioned by the Conditioners. But I KNOW they wanted me to behave that way, so it's really my own shortcomings now that I am aware of that indoctrination.  Oh God how I wish I could find, in the shorter time remaining to me, the key to becoming a better man than I have been.

Kudos to Ace Nevertheless

I've been critical of Ace of Spades for being both too sophomoric and too much in favor of what most people call RINOs, but which we here call SKUNCs.

However, he did something today that deserves kudos. He broke his one-day silence today (intended as part of the web protest on behalf of the attacks on Ali Akhbar) to Post why he turned down his Andrew Breitbart award:  because of his admitted cowardice. He feels -- and has good reason -- he must keep his anonymity. I think it was because he could not look himself in the eye and accept the award in absentia.

He didn't put it that way -- I just did.

But it took balls to admit.  He indeed has very good reasons to be concerned not only for his own safety, but for how ever many others who might be endangered were he outed by accepting the award.

His untitled post explains it in part. But his additional comments in the comment section reveal far more. I recommend doing a search for "ace" in the comments and finding what he has to say.

It's a dangerous world out there. I'm not sure what Ace thinks Congress can do about (he asks us to write) because bills of attainder are unconstitutional. And given the current dangers already to free speech, I'm very concerned about any generic laws Congress might pass.

Maybe I'm missing what he means by asking Congress to act. I personally think it will take nothing short of angelic actions to solve the problem.

I'd welcome anyone who happens by here to explain to thick old me. What can Congress do about the outrageous behavior of the notorious jaw-house lawyer antics? (As far as I can see, his psychopathic ego is fed by every hit Google makes when it finds his name, and having Congress act on behalf of him would be akin to us putting icing on top of all of it.)

Partials: Give Away the Keys, Get Blamed for the Thefts

On August 1, 2011, John Boehner caved to pressure (or, as yet to be proven, went along with his cronies) and gave the President the right to raise the debt ceiling at his will, as if Obama were a dictator.

So, today, the headline reads:

Debt Up $1.59T Under GOP House—More in 15 Months Than First 97 Congresses Combined.

Please vote in more TEA Party congressman so we can be rid of this good-old-boy Boehner.

The Look of Fear

Photo appeared this morning at Big Government under the headline Warren: My Mother Was So Cherokee She Had to Elope.

We've seen this look before. Think of when Margaret Hamilton's character realized she was about to be "baptized" in her most famous climax.

Govt Motors Killed How Many Jobs

With the MSM Agency of Lies, it's all Bain, all the time. Bain cost how may jobs 20 years ago after Romney left the company? But they're not telling us how many jobs Government motors eliminated under Obama in the last 3½ years.

Were I running some mainstream journal and not beholden to the Establishment – talk about fantasies – I'd have my business reporters scouting the country in search of how many people lost their jobs when the Bummer took over GM.

How many factories were closed? How many jobs lost?
How many car dealerships got closed that had no "friends" in Chicago? How many jobs lost?
How many suppliers never got paid as Bummer gave all the money to the UAW? How many jobs lost?

I suspect that the bar chart on job loss looks like this:

But I don't own a mainstream journal, and don't have the money and staff to investigate.
When MSM finally does its duty, I will happily post an update.

But we know what the Agency of Lies is doing on this subject don't we? Bain, Bain, Bain, all the time.

So, in absence of a press corp that is not in the tank, you are free to assume this bar chart is not only correct, but understates how bad reality truly is that they dare not tell us. With so much evidence that convinces us that the press is totally in the tank, our cynicism is not unfounded.

Bummer the Bammer

Well I like the tune.

Sigh. I don't see Bumney being all that much better. The GOP-E won't speak the truth for "fear" (or so they claim) that the lying Media will call them racist. That's the same media that is run and is funded by the same establishment that is doing swell under Bummer – and is the E in their label.

Just do what you can to elect members to Congress who have the TEA Party ethic. That will cushion the blows. With Boehner sounding like Schumer on this issue (Fugitive Slave Act), we need plenty more TEA Partiers so we get a new Speaker.

Attack On the Big Bang Theory Was Inevitable — Updated

I read today how the Big Bang theory is under attack.
The Big Bang cosmological model is in trouble, but its adherents, reluctant to abandon the theory, are busily attempting to shore it up.“All Effect and No Cause”: Colliding Branes, Bouncing Universes, Promiscuous Singularities, and Fashionable Nothings — Five Versions of How It All Began.

I'm a much too simple man. I figured out long ago that this day was coming.  See, even before that, the young fool in me thought of the question, 'Well if you think the answer is simply that God created the universe, who created God?'

As I got older and a little bit wiser, the words recorded by a shepherd who claimed to have spoken with God had rattled around in my little head long enough.

It occurred to me that there was a simple way to align current axiomatic cosmological physics to Judeo-Christian theology, and it also answered the question of which that juvenile thought was only a quip.

The axiomatic portion was that it all started with a big bang. That would be the beginning of recorded time if records could have been kept.

But just like that juvenile quipster who asked who created God, these great minds are troubled that time could actually have a beginning, even though they'd never be satisfied with the answer. (Sounds like rent-seeking cosmologists if you ask me, but who would bother asking, and what do I really know of what sort of character would hide out in the sciences?)

Anyway, just for the record, here is how what Moses told us fits the Big Bang.

Moses recorded that God told him His name was I Am.
"I Am that I am."
That is He Is, but in the first person singular.

Now this is at that time in history, right? And -- well I'm talking to the non-religious to anti-religious now -- it's all come out of the mind of a poor goat herder; right? Nothing really of significance could possibly be there, right?

YET? Yet that goat herder seems to have arrived at the same place so many brainy scientists have taken  (you should forgive the phrase) as gospel for the last 50 years or so. How's that? Here's how.

Recognize that the infinitive of  is is to be.
For those who insist on a single word to be a name, let's choose the French Etre.

  • Theologically we have God on one hand, where Etre has yet to complete and implement His plan.
  • On the other hand we have, in cosmological physics, The Great Potential to be the Universe.

  • Theologically, Etre would ponder a move from the infinite infinitive.
  • Cosmologically, the Universe, it says nothing.

  • Etre's ponders are essentially splitting the infinitive into the interrogative:
  • To Be?
  • OTOH: The Universe -- it says nothing.

  • Etre stops pondering, and converts the interrogative into the imperative:
  • Be!
  • The Universe -- it bangs biggly.
God: I Am.
Universe: It Is.

Let's face it folks. The big bang was in trouble with the secular anti-theists from the very beginning. But it was propounded in the day when Statism was hardly a word ever spoken or understood, let alone about to burst upon the scene openly.

Since the philosophical environment in which the Big Bang theory was introduced is no longer the case, well – the Big Bang just has to go. QED

Someone once avered: Liberty will be lost not with a bang, but with a whimper.

Thanks to a comment from the above link's author, Mike Gray, I have an ***Update*** after the break.

America Has Few Friends In the Prez Race

Mark Levin's broadcast last night (May 17) was a pretty good indication of what a terrible choice we have in voting for president this year. I will post a partial synopsis of the 3 hours (less commercials) below along with a link to the podcast. But first...

As Levin says:
'We simply must vote out Obama. Then we will have Romney [who I fear will finally make G H W Bush look like Ronald Reagan – ed.]. Let's work hard to fill the senate with TEA Party candidates – real Americans – so that the GOP-E's president is constrained.'
Romney displays all the signs of an unindicted unofficially recognized Progressive co-conspirator. It becomes the duty of American voters to eject the outright Marxist and accept the Marxist enabler while replacing the anti-American SKUNCs currently in Congress, particularly the senate.

Here is the link to ML's page where you can listen for free with some controls. After the site's player starts, it gives you the opportunity to download the mp3. I recommend you do that so you may listen to it on your computer or mp3 player  with better controls (after some months it goes to archives and becomes less accessible).

My partial synopsis follows below the break. I will expand it as time permits. If any commenters wish to help me expand it, that would be great. As a convention, I'm using single 'quotes' where I do not want to copy Levin's or a callers' full quote but wish to encapsulate what I inferred from what was said.

Note that during the course of the 3 hour show, Mr. Levin expands on his own earlier commentary, so all of what he has to say is not necessarily found in the earlier points. I may cross-ref these later, but that's a lot of work.

What is important to know is that ML is not sugar coating the Hobson's Choice we have facing us. Not voting is out of the question. Convincing others to vote so we buy time to save America IS PARAMOUNT.

Synopsis after the break.

Fugitive Slave Act — Updated

Senator Chuck Schumer doesn't like that anyone should escape the Taxman. So he's proposed a fugitive tax-slave act. [Update: As if that were not enough, we have GOP-E Speaker Boehner saying to ABC on Sunday "it is 'absolutely outrageous' for anyone to renounce their citizenship in order to avoid taxes." He said that rather than condemn the wanton abuse of taxpayers by unconscionable government spending. Someone needs to 'splain to that clown that it's 'hard to convince us of your moral outrage when you don't use it to fight against the growth of government' (like giving Bummer the keys to the debt ceiling on August 1, 2011). Outrageous facade of outrage is he.]

The signs are flashing in neon my friends. Schumer and his ilk see us all as their serfs. Leaving these bastards in control means a shabby, drab end for your posterity. By not allying with other real Americans, you're allowing America-haters to cement their foothold.

It is possible that this news fits my dream last night. After an exciting prequel of which I have forgotten, I wound up in a secreted position to see how our masters were planning the world. Maybe it's nothing, and really doesn't fit this story at all, but if you want to know, it is after the break.

Repair Damage Wraught By Critical Theory

I was struck the other day by how much I have been affected by the long term efforts of Marxist "Critical Theory" continuing to be deployed in the West. I don't know what to do about it except by reminding myself how grateful I should be to be alive. Before I get to the uncertainty portion of this screed, let me repost the comment string that forced me to face up to how badly I have been affected by the Left's and Statists' determined efforts to get Americans to question EVERYTHING, even what was and is good.

Blast From The Past at the Belmont Club had responded to criticisms of American efforts in the world wars. You can read it (beginning with the 2nd paragraph) to gain some understanding about what I'm about to write, but it was my own initial reaction that concerned me (as you will see). And it ought to concern all Americans, because if it can happen to me, it can happen to many many more, and in fact does.
I find myself pleased with everything you wrote here. However, I also find that I am now at that point where I’m questioning even what I find agreeable because it comforts me. Does that mean that the Critical Theorists have won?

If so, the West is not only doomed, but deservedly so. We neglect the sacrifices of those who won our freedom when we question everything, regretting our earlier mistakes rather than realizing we overcame them, hopefully learning from them, and being grateful for the outcome. But instead of recognizing where we don’t want to go again, it seems are condemned to repeat history because the power-mad are the ones who implemented Critical Theory and we swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

I wish I had the skills to develop in depth the arguments needed to support the last paragraph. I surely hope it was clear enough for it to inspire someone else to the task.

I really do hope someone who understands the incremental poisoning by Critical Theory and its long-term intertwining affects on us. Describing how it has undermined our society's confidence and especially our sense of being touched by God. And maybe offering some hope for reversing the damage.

No matter who writes up the history thoroughly and well, the question will remain as to how to go about reversing the damage the Marxist counter-culture achieved, especially knowing that it all started while the Soviet Union was still in existence, albeit with the clandestine help of our own craven Progs.

Were it only due to the moles in the employ of the USSR, then we ought to be able to stop from being stung by a dead bee. Of course China is still officially Red, and she is quite entwined in our economy now. Yet that's another issue. What matters is how we in our society choose to act. We've permitted the inmates to run what looks more and more like a nuthouse. Our institutions are totally infiltrated with people who more or less still believe in Anti-Americanism.  And even that has remedies, though hard and takes courage.

So what that we have the most Marxist man in the White House today, and the party leaders of the alleged opposition  refuse to say it. Not only that, you'll also get disparaged and cut off by most talkshow hosts for saying too.

If our "leaders" refuse to lead the opposition, then it means we need new leaders and a new opposition. The TEA party was the effort to do that, but its idea was initiated by a TV talker on CNBC. That is establishmentarian influenced, so what's up with that?

No, no. We cannot blame any leaders if we find ourselves still stuck with Bummer of Bumney. "They gave me no choice" is such a juvenile whine that it's embarrassing to have to point out to what-should-be-adults how we are easily our own worst enemy.

The uncertainty that I sensed in my reaction to Blast From the Past is something I do not know is affecting others, but I fear that it surely is. What I do know is that letting the dream of America be lost is really a sin.
  • We are members of a continuum that makes the history of mankind, and we have been living in the freest time in history.
  • When we become concerned only for ourselves, thus not knowing the true meaning of self-sacrifice, and not for those who come after us, we have abandoned our duty, a duty that was mostly obeyed by they who, in their sacrifices, gave us the chance to advance some more. And I am NOT talking about the simplistic sacrifices demanded by the Left that were so contemptuously and rightly derided by the Narcissistic Ayn Rand.
I once told my kids that I hoped to leave the world a little bit better than when I came into it. And that my greatest hope for them was that they would come to see the wisdom in seeking to do the same thing.

If there is a God who governs that continuum with something a bit more than natural law, I pray He will allow me the clarity to see where to find what more that I need, including the company of people who want little more than that also.

Seize the Inconsistency

For further demonstration of how slow yours truly can be, I offer the following.

Because the axiom "I before E, except after C" is insufficient, I long ago devised a more extensive mnemonic to aid my spelling (in the days before spell-check).
I before E, except after C;
or when sounding like A, as in neighbor or weigh;
or sounding like air, as in their;
or sounding like ear, as in weird.
And then, for some reason only known to deep recesses of my mind, at 1 AM this morning, I seized upon the realization that seize is also an exception to the rule.

And to think it only took roughly 6 decades -- well, it demonstrates something.

Beautiful and Peaceful Interlude

This is titled " Yosemite Range Of Light Time-Lapse." However, it includes a much wider area outside of Yosemite Park including the tufa towers at Mono Lake and the bristlecone pines in the White Mountains between Death Valley and Owens Valley. Although its black and white contrasts are very beautiful, Shaun Reeder's capture of little rainbows in the waterfalls are nothing to sneer at.

In More Innocent Times...

pranks, typically sophomoric, such as mocking over-exposed politicians, took the form of marking up their posters with black crayons, and later those newfangled "Magic Markers." (Admittedly, it was in a day when graffiti was not yet the scourge it is today). From time to time school text books would show up with similar evidence of juvenile rebellion.

Today we get images of The Øne and his family assaulting our eye over and over and over when we open web pages and emails. But there is no relief for us as had once been supplied by such pranksters.

Well, there was one image that I've seen nauseatingly repeated at yahoo.com. And I found a young man who was willing to come back from the past to offer you an altered image that may provide you some of that old-time relief today.

Find it after the break.

Faux-Ca-Hon-Tas [fantasy]

Were Scott Brown not a RINO I can easily imagine that he could benefit from TEA Party groups greeting his opponent, Lizzie Warren, outside every venue she attends with
FAUX - CA - HON - TAS,
FAUX - CA - HON - TAS.

in beat to their tom-toms.

But he'd probably say something to put down such swells of grassroots support. It's simply not something a stinking RINO SKUNC would welcome.

But we can laugh at the idea -- and at the players in this charade of a senatorial election. And that is somehow fitting given that this IS Ted Kennedy's seat.

Shadows of Our Former Greatness

Today's episode of "Scant Memory of Our Former Greatness" is:

Harvard Law School has a professor with Indian ancestry on its roster.
But refuses to reveal who that is.

Right up front and honest. When did that last happen?

All of this is on behalf of Lizzie Warren. She is the lame Dem put-up job for Senate against Scott Brown. It's as if Scott Brown hasn't been carrying water for the Incrementalists (that revelation was chronicled here) and they aren't happy with the outcome. The Progs will be satisfied with him as they are now, and we all know it.

There are so many bouncing balls it's tough to keep on eye on any one, let alone the important ones, just as the shadows intended. Oh what a silly people we've become. Nearly all of the twelve out of thirteen will follow their assigned Judas Goat when told to do so.

High Likelihood the USA Is Doomed

Why might the likelihood be high?

Because
  1. We direly need a leader with a lot of common sense.
  2. Yet anyone with that much common sense knows to keep their yap shut if he wants to keep breathing.
Joseph Heller's catch didn't come close to describing half the dilemma facing our hero, did it?

So it comes down to someone who knows God in on his side and thus forges ahead despite the torpedoes and flack.

Hence, you've ruled yourself out.

After facing up to that, you have no right to be complaining that heroes and heroines are in short supply.

So, short of divine intervention, we're doomed? Without the humility found in earlier Americans, I don't see God's hand saving us unless at least 10 good men find each other before the Statists hunt down all candidates.

NRSC Poisoned Its Own Well

I just received another call from the National Republican Senatorial Committee. I was told the Chairman, Senator John Cornyn (of Texas) had asked him to call.

They were seeking my contribution for their fund drive.

I asked the caller "Is John Cornyn supporting Richard Lugar in his primary bid to be renominated as the GOP candidate for Senator from Indiana?"

That question is tops on my mind because of this story at RedState: The Ultimate Treachery
Politico’s Maggie Haberman is reporting that the leadership-affiliated Young Guns Network has sent out mailers asking Democrats to vote for Dick Lugar (not exactly a young gun) in the Indiana Republican primary against Richard Mourdock on May 8.  But that’s not all.  They are stirring up Democrats by referring to Mourdock as extreme.  In what way is he extreme?  He wants to eliminate the Department of Education!
Caller answers: "I don't know. We will use 95% of the money to help elect Republican candidates to office."

Well you better let the people there know that other operations like The Young Guns Network is poisoning your donation well: grassroots conservatives all around the country. Of course, given the sort of treachery we've been witnessing, that could be feature and not a bug.

So you get back to me when you can honestly answer "No, we will not use your money to help defeat your candidate Mourdock in Indiana."

For principled conservatives such as I, here is the rub:

It Makes No Sense Only If You Believe the Lies of Liars.

The prequel to today's May Day destruction was reported at JWF this morning. I chose the following reported comment on the destruction in San Francisco as revealing of how tolerant this nation has become in large part because so many are kept in ignorance to the real meaning of words [emphasis added -ed.]

“They’re coming through the Mission, where there aren’t any corporations, just a lot of small businesses, which is what they’re all about,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense.-- words of a political naif

It doesn't make sense only if you do not understand that Marxists hate the MIDDLE CLASS. Only they use the French term for middle class: "bourgeoisie."

  • Marxists (bums without real work) stage violence in the streets
  • at the expense of real workers,
  • to further the aims of the Ruling Class
  • and the aims of their Wealthy Class backers (to reduce the wealth of the middle class so that they cannot afford to crowd the wealthy out of their favorite vacation spots.)
This is not rocket science. This "it doesn't make sense" are the words of a child.

There are simply too many "adults" (or use the old polite phrase: "people above the age of majority") who were never warned not to talk to "strangers."* Nor to heed their own wariness when noticing strange behavior. Nor seem to learn why even after being victimized time and time again.

When offered goodies from a man with a smiling face who strangely seems unconcerned while monsters are circling behind him, an adult knows to be looking for the exits while fingering his weapon.

-----
*Strangers meant as limited to a sense of strangeness: that is, sensing odd behavior as strange and rather than dismissing the sense, taking precautions as your own senses warrant.

May Day "May Day"?

Be grateful for today, April 30, 2012, maybe the day with the last vestige of calm sanity for some time.

Given the signals from the radical Left and their less radical but ever scheming "Progressive" instigators, tomorrow may be the official beginning of the PostModern Era.

If so, very little will ever be normal again.

Dear Lord: please make their efforts not just fizzle out, but blow up in their faces yet leaving the innocents unscathed.

Unlike Drear Leader, I won't ask for an Amen. If you agree with my prayer, you'll find a way to say it all your own.

More Assaults On the 8th Amendment -- Your Rights Discarded

Originally published 10:27 AM  Friday, April 27, 2012

The fascists are simply brazen. The US Constitution, anticipating their kind, tells them:
"Excessive bail2 shall not be required, nor excessive fines1 imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted." -- Amendment 8
  1. First there was the assault declared upon the no "excessive fines" portion of the Eighth Amendment to the constitution. The EPA official who bragged about the policy to overwhelm the little guy with fines so large that they are left without funds to mount a court case to defend themselves from the fines. Be it comply or go out of business: it encumbers small competitors of bigger businesses.
  2. And today we have the prosecutor of George Zimmerman demanding that the judge RAISE THE  BAIL to much more than the original $150,000. Why? Because Mr. Zimmerman raised more than that for his defense via an Internet web site. The fascist forces aligned against him are allied against the very idea of self defense and orderly justice. They cannot abide that Mr. Zimmerman be left any funds to defend himself from their demands for persecutions. That's the whole damn reason our founders wrote "excessive bail shall not be required" as a Right protected by the 8th Amendment. The connected guy and rich guy do not need it so much as do you, the average American. And the connected and/or rich man are by far a greater flight risk than are you. Ira Einhorn anyone? Marc Rich anyone?
Where is the opposition party? The one that fights fascists and every sort of tyranny.

Blogs like this one need to call foul.  This is not a bad dream. This may no longer be your country as it was intended, but it IS your life.

If this is the only blog that sees this threat and is calling for the government to put an end to the injustices, then you -- the individual -- are finished.

Understand the assaults on YOU. Gather people to you who understand how bad things are. Fight back!

Michael Bloomberg -- Beyond Dhimmi?

Suggested by today's JWF post No Fun City: NYC Eyes Happy Hour Ban

Excerpts:
  • “Welcome to Michael Bloomberg’s dreamstate.” …
  • “Heck, why not just ban alcohol entirely.”
Then casually recall his unexplained vehemence for the Ground Zero Mosque.

Hey? Did Bloomberg secretly convert to Islam?
Will some reporter quiz him: "Well, what do you say to that charge Mr. Mayor?"

Yeah sure. Rouse me when you hear that question, please.

Does 16c stand for
  1. the number of cylinders or
  2. the level, on a scale of 1-10, of conspicuous consumption?

Was Labeled "Ace" Because He Wasn't?

Interesting Post at Commentary, on the Vicious Disdain of the Elite

Thirteen hundred words for "Ace of Spades" to arrive at the conclusion that there are people in the upper echelons of prestige and influence who lethally hate the common man.

What took him so long?
  1. He's not chief moron for no reason? Or...
  2. Did Ace get turned down for membership in some tony club?

Release the Truth Mr. McFatridge

The video I posted on Wednesday at "Charm" At the EPA has been pulled. Its author, a self-designated "environmentalist," claimed copyright infringement. This was despite the author having previously having labeled it "reuse allowed."

The Daily Caller reports:
The source and now YouTube complainant, David McFatridge of “Citizen Media for We The People,” is an environmentalist and, according to Inhofe’s office, has eliminated all content related to Armendariz’s speech from his YouTube channel.
...
McFatridge’s complaint comes despite the fact that his page reads, “Consider ALL video Creative Commons Attribution license (reuse allowed)”.
When I first posted the video, it was reading a scant 301 hits. When last I looked it had over 66K hits with no end in sight.

Apparently when the video was shared within the narrow close-knit "environmentalist" community, they must have chuckled at the tyranny in the name of their cause. Now that their little inside-joke on the rest of us is out in the open, they stopped chuckling. Why hide it unless they now realize how evil the whole scheme was; how in violation of individual rights it is?

Listen Mr McFatridge. You have done the citizens of this republic a great favor. That includes YOU, and it protects you whether you know it or not.

You should read the 8th Amendment. It specifically disallows excessive fines.
I did not take Mr Armendariz' words literally. But only a fool would doubt that he meant financial crucifixion.
  • Excessive fines are unconstitutional.
  • But it takes money to mount a case that would probably have to go to the SCOTUS for the EPA's use of them to be so declared.
  • Big Business can fight such excesses with relative ease. They even get exclusions from the EPA.
  • Little guys, small businesses -- the big guy's competitors -- cannot.
Do you know what this arrangement is called, Mr. McFatridge? Where the big biz winds up getting the government stifling its competitors?

It's called fascism Mr. McFatridge. Are you a fascist or a fascist tool? I would hope not.

Mr. Armendariz' financial terrorism is short-sighted and not a joking matter. You have helped reveal his thinking openly. Guaranteed that is just the tip of the iceberg at EPA.  Such "ends justify the means" thinking is entirely sophistical. It is specious reasoning in service to selfish goals. The goal is power to force compliance in environmentalist's narrow terms. But it will also lead to the power to place you and those you care about in the gulag.

Raw power is a very dangerous thing Mr. McFatridge. Look at the 150 million murder victims of it in the last century. That is the selfish goal. Are you proud of your small role as its apparatchik? I hope not. You can still choose not to stay on that path you know.

Recognize Mr McFatridge how good a service you provided to liberty before you even knew it. Release your complaint. Let the truth out. Over the long term, you'll be glad you did.

The Near Future As Viewed from the Nuthouse

How will Americans choose to vote this year?

As we have begun to see cracks in the Agency of Lies virtual uniform accolades and defense of the Bummer, we gain a glimpse of the minds of those who Plato said would appear to us only as "shadows cast upon the cave [our mental prison] walls." I call them the "shadow powers" for short.

While commenting elsewhere, I think I stumbled upon the best words for how I feel about how Americans will be persuaded to vote this time.
At this point most people would accept Bumney much as a condemned man welcomes a rescheduling of his execution.
IOW, we vote for the GOP-E because we hope it will buy us time.

I know it’s a compromise. Putting it mildly — I greatly resent it that they got my country over a barrel so easily.

I lay out the circumstances that led us to this dilemma below the break.

"Charm" At the EPA

I think this will go viral and still be met by a big yawn form the Agency of Lies and even the Bumney campaign.

UPDATE: The original author pulled the video. But it still lives! in this report from FNC.

God's Condemnation Made Flesh

The overall trend of American government is now out of control of "We the People."

I know there are a great number of people who agree with this assessment. And they are not all Republicans, or republicans or conservatives let alone big and small L libertarians.

What's most alarming is that most of those agreeing with me won't even bother raising an eyebrow.

In such inaction lays the seeds of posterity's condemnation of this generation.

For you God-fearing types: have you ever considered that God Himself resides in your posterity? Hmmm?

An unimportant aside follows after the break.

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Any Conservative

who winds up defending Bumney for President (IF he actually gets nominated -- pray for Intervention) better get prepared for him to run away from your words like our ancestors ran from lepers.

As was fitting to McLame before him, to label his attitude towards the principled grassroots of the GOP as disdain is to view it through the rosiest color of glass.
'You have to vote for me or be blamed for inflicting It on the country. Bwahahahahaha! The GOP-E wins no matter what. So go screw yourselves.'

Fatherly Advice #1

"If you go around wearing a chip on your shoulder, sooner or later someone is going to knock it off. Is that what you really want or is it something else?"
Children, particularly boys, who grow up fatherless, or with fathers who don't give a damn, are often not getting good advice. And I think this may be the single most important bit of advice that can be given to young men who believe walking around looking intense or mean, menacing or macho,  is a worthwhile means for getting ahead in this world. Maybe in an uncivilized world. Maybe were an uncivil world actually what society wants.

If society is content in raising a generation of thugs, it will not encourage older men to advise young men that carrying around a chip for imagined or even real slights has a very poor return on investment.

Particularly to the ladies: Fight against the PC silencing squads. End this effeminate fear of upsetting some poor snowflake's feelings. Unleash the old goats with their stern verbal warnings. While a word from the wise may go unheeded, as sure as death it can’t be heard when society’s ninnies censure those who warn.

**UPDATE, Saturday April 21, 2011**
It may seem dumb to admit this, but it wasn't until the next day that I realized that this post was inspired by the quote of the day that I had posted a few hours earlier. (In fact, as a further consequence, "Connections" may be the title of my next post.)

The silencing of the male perspective was also an aim of the Frankfurt School. Critical Theory that exploited the tension between the sexes -- what they cynically labeled as "Feminism" -- has been used effectively to neuter far too many males, criminalize many of those who were not neutered, while the threat of being made out to be a misogynist intimidated most of the rest into silence.

If I missed any other tactical ploy against men, tell me in the comments.

QOTD: Critical Theory Consequences, Feminist Stump

The purpose of feminism was never about equal rights; it was about getting women working so that the government could raise fatherless children to be the worthless dependents of the next generation.

Not that they always succeeded, some single women and families with two working parents are successful in raising fine kids despite the public schools, but the Marxists have succeeded often enough to degrade seriously the moral fabric of the nation after cumulative generations.

What Do You Consider Cannibalism?

Reported in the LASlimes this last Sunday, and as sent to me via email by an old friend:
Brazil police arrest three suspected of cannibalism, making pastries with human flesh

SAO PAULO -- Police have arrested three people for allegedly killing at least two women, eating parts of their bodies and using their flesh to make stuffed pastries known as empanadas that they sold to neighbors in their northeastern Brazil city. They had plans to kill another, police said.
The three suspects - a man, his wife and his mistress - belonged to a sect that preached "the purification of the world and the reduction of its population," said police inspector Wesley Fernandes in the city of Garanhuns. Fernandes said they confessed to the crimes.

The three allegedly lured women to their house by promising them a job as a nanny. Police found the remains of the two women in the backyard of the suspects' house, which enraged neighbors burned to the ground Thursday.
The friend, a pretty well-connected Incremental Statist who considers himself part of the intelligentsia, I would bet had sought to upset me a bit because he knows of my views. Can you guess my response?

Beware the "Free" Offer

For months now I've been getting phone calls from "The Gas Company." Each time a computer voice asked me "Is Mr or Mrs Pascal Fervor" there to hear of a 20% discount? Of course it mispronounced my name. So I was inclined to hangup.

This last time I had some time available to learn more; so I pressed "1" instead of hanging up.

The voice then said:
"We need to find out if you are eligible. We will ask you a few questions. Be assured your answers will be held in the strictest confidence."
So I answered the questions (IIRC, there were only 3). Then the voice chirped:
"Congratulations. You are eligible to receive a 20% discount on your gas bills"

Uh huh. Wait for the "but" I'm thinking... I did not have to wait long.

Almost all of the conditions it stated was okay with me -- except for the last one.

Can you guess what it was?
The answer is below the break. Tell me if you guessed correctly as to what the stinker was.

What Will You Do?

If Bumney was to throw the election to Bummer like McLame did in 2008 in the last pro-wrestling match, what would you do to force him to win?

This is an election of Anybody But Obama for me. And for a whole subcontinent load of other Americans (and foreigners) too.

So since there really is no other option short of God showing up to rain death and destruction on all lost souls, what will you do to see to it that Bummer loses?

Better the Bumney we don't know than the Bummer we do, eh what droogies?

Allen West: 'Screw the TEA Party; Save the GOP'

'Formerly titled

"How  Many Have NOT Gotten the Message Yet?"

I keep hearing about how the establishment GOP screwed Lt Col West. That they pressed the GOP controlled Florida legislature to Gerrymander his seat during redistricting so that his reelection will be much tougher.

What the plan was was to force TEA party members to rally behind one of their favorites. Because the GOP thinks the TEA party members are stupid. And maybe they ARE if they fall for this BS.

Nemesis in comments to my last thread about the new Tweedledum and Tweedledee, forced me to recall how Congressman West caved to pressure and gave away the people's purse to the most cronyist and profligate wastrel who ever sneaked into the White House.

Here is the video courtesy of the Shark Tank.

He explains here that he went with Boehner because a Dem leader seemed happy that they were going to stand up to Boehner on his then plan to hand over the keys to the debt ceiling limit to Bummer.

That meant to West that the Dems wanted to see the GOP split.

Which means that West was now more comfortable with the Republican party than the TEA party. Screw financial sanity, the whole point of the TEA Party.

Shear genius Lt Col. Congressman West! /s

For me it was "case closed" on the reliability of Allen West to the TEA party way back on August 1 of 2011.

WTF is wrong with our side that this is not mentioned every time someone suggests West is a TEA party guy and that he is suitable to be supported by US WHO NO LONGER TRUST THE GOP?

Jeesh!

It's a good thing someone remembers fundamental things like the TEA party stands for Taxed Enough Already. As Obama keeps borrowing, WHO THE HELL IS ULTIMATELY GONNA PAY FOR IT?

YOUR POSTERITY!

Please pass this reminder around so that others don't waste any more their money on one of our most disappointing former hopes for this most dear country.

It wasn't only Nemesis not knowing. It was an email I received asking me to send funds. Here is the top portion of that email. Notice the sponsoring organization.

You've Heard of Tweedledum and Tweedledee

Well it's time to recognize that the shadowy powers have a replacement for Bummer: It's Bumney

Guaranteed, after Romney gets elected there'll be people playing with his name much as we've all done with  the current puppet after he was inserted into the oval office (with all the qualifications laid down by the Dilbert Principle). At least Bumney has some qualifications outside of "community organizer."

Anyway here's my current "optimistic" surmise of what I see happening.

America is about to experience the new wave Right similar to Key of New Zealand. Bumney will be the next Prez because Bummer's radicals staying in charge would rock the boat too much, so the shadowy powers want him under his bus. (This surmise runs contrary to the idea of fanning a race war that I wrote about a couple of day ago: the pessimistic version of the future.)

Now that Bummer has pushed the Statist growth to an unsustainable limit of growth, they need Bumney to come in to consolidate the gains without breaking the infrastructure entirely. The sheeple will be so happy for the relief they'll accept the soft Statism and forget, forget, forget the constitutional threats that remain.

In this bizarro world that we are experiencing right now, this manipulation of our politics may seem far too prudent. When was the last time we saw sanity on our public stages?) But you know what your signal is that the tide is turning? More and more of this Agency of Lies will turn on the Bummer while the radicals will continue to claim Bumney is a wild-eyed right-winger.

The charade will continue, just a bit more to the Left than before. So we may yet have respite from those crackdowns you envisage. They will be much softer than the Stalinist prediction you could expect if the Bummer is reelected.

Call me an optimist if you wish. That would only be true if Bumney were really be a good shepherd, and not  if people believe that he is. You and I know better. What we see is that America would have back in the White House the Incrementalist version of puppet instead of the radical version we have currently.

That will give us a breather until the next time conservatives need to be elbowed out of the way for the next Leftward thrust. I'd rather see the breather cuz I'm not crazy. But we have got to be very independent sheep dogs. We must be barking at every effort where the new shepherd shows us he's taking us to where the old one did: leading the bulk of the herd to the slaughter house.

Our Lying Media And Charles Manson's Helter Skelter

What the title implies is that our lying national media is egging on a race war.
[Early on August 19, 2016, this post began to get several hits from facebook. If one of the readers who came here from there would be so kind as to inform me (via the comment block below) of the location in Facebook where this was linked, as I'm hoping that the commentary that led you here is helpful. Anonymous commenting is permitted. Thank you.]

I've a fair solution. How about we put in prison every one of the chief editors of the NYTimes, LATimes, WAPO, NBC, ABC, CBS, NPR, CNN, on ad infinitum, and release Charles Manson and call it an even trade? What about the 1st Amendment? Seeing as how they are pushing the idea that this blog and millions of others like it need to be shut down, I'd say they've lost their privileges as being independent of constitutional republican government because they have opted instead to become a very active and dangerous agent of Statist government.

Here's an example that just greeted me when I signed on.

Tyson on Zimmerman: 'It's a disgrace that man hasn't been shot yet'

That's the damn headline that Yahoo news has as its next from top story tonight.

This is its top story:

    Zimmerman charged with 2nd-degree murder

George Zimmerman, the 28-year-old neighborhood watchman who shot and killed Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Fla., has been charged with second-degree murder in the 17-year-old's death. Zimmerman is being held without bail. "Just moments ago we spoke by phone with Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin," Angela Corey, the special prosecutor investigating the case, [...]

Notice that they are STILL insisting on using the photo of Trayvon Martin when he was 13 years old. A fair minded person would have to suspect that the lying media's object is to make Martin look much smaller and more innocent than Zimmerman. That's not responsible journalism; it's what was known as yellow journalism in the 1890s, and it has been used to start wars.  They want us fighting with our neighbors so that we are too weak to fight their masters.

Folks, What say you we alter Mike Tyson's words and replace "that man" with "that the Agency of Lies" and call that a fair trade?

    No GOP Money For Media

In keeping with my position that the GOP cannot be trusted to use properly any funds I give her, I am taking the pledge to provide NO money to any candidate who will use it for media ads.

Money to the major media will allow them to survive and to go on to torment me for another generation.

The major American media are the single worst, most rotten, despicable prostitution institution in the whole world. Their influence over the American people has allowed them to divide us into minorities, and then they go on to foment hatred between those groups. Most of us know that the Trayvon Martin case is only a peek at what they are capable of fomenting.  Nobody knows which of us those liars will be painted as the next George Zimmerman. It's got to be up to us to register our displeasure in meaningful ways.

The media's aim is to stymy us with internecine warfare in order to prevent us from thwarting their shadowy* masters' take-over of this republic. That takeover would mark the true establishment of the world's most powerful empire since Rome, by far exceeding in tyranny that ancient power that was lost to its own decadence. Whether the rest of the world knows it or not, they are hoping for the American people's success in preventing that event.

It is incumbent on us to defeat this global tyranny nearing its goal. We must find a way to defeat the media first, and the SKUNCs behind our lines second.

NO MONEY FROM ME FOR KEEPING MEDIA (THE AGENCY OF LIES) ALIVE ANOTHER DAY.

    --------
*shadowy? Really? Don't take my word for it; take it up with Plato in The Republic.

    Be Grateful

At this time of year there is a shared theme in the religious proceedings of both Judaism and Christianity. Passover and Easter each contain a reminder for us to revisit that weakest of human emotions -- gratitude.

For the older religion there is the reminder that ancestors were all slaves who were freed from bondage so that they could go on and live their lives in freedom. Many today really do appreciate that freedom, but sadly many do not. Facing up to freedom and its consequences are found in the something a child who whines about their lessons: "It's too hard!"

For the offspring religion, there is the reminder that One took on the burdens so that souls could be freed of the sins (the falling short of perfection) that arise in this world to first mislead and then confound each individual soul during the life of the body it inhabits.

In the Jewish sedar proceedings, there is a song known by its repetitive segment. Dayenu*. It is pronounced Dai-Yay-Nu. It means "It would have been enough." Enough for what? To praise the Lord. To show gratitude.

The whole song (hard to find -- it can go on and on as people think of another event) is a vessel in which to remember each of the gifts and miracles and justice that had to transpire for the children of Israel to be released from bondage under Pharaoh and to be free to seek the Promised Land. After each miracle performed, the Dayenu refrain follows, which is a way of saying "It would have been enough -- and yet there was more." It's about being reprieved from the foolishness of generations that had grown soft and allowed themselves to become slaves.

I'm not that familiar with specific popular Christian songs that relate the similar theme that grants release for the immortal soul as purchased by Jesus' sacrifice for the sins of humanity. (Handel's Messiah seems mostly about Revelation's finale.) However, I'm pretty sure the word Hallelujah is tied to it. It's another Hebrew word that is rarely defined for English listeners. But it essentially means "praise the Lord."

The Gospel words "For God so loved the world He gave up his Son so that everyone who trusts in Him shall not be lost, but shall have eternal life" are supposed to be remembered today. I pray that more will come to understand and actually be grateful. Really.

So try. Try hard to be grateful.
Wherever you are, for your life itself, and more.
For having been given the gift, however it has been offered to you, which if accepted, would allow that your soul might know peace.

    CHORUS:
    Dai, da-ye-nu,
    Dai, da-ye-nu,
    Dai, da-ye-nu,
    Da-ye-nu, da-ye-nu,
    da-ye-nu!

    Dai, da-ye-nu,
    Dai, da-ye-nu,
    Dai, da-ye-nu,
    Da-ye-nu, da-ye-nu!
The English translation for the stanza follows. (They are quite melodic in Hebrew as you heard when you clicked the link above in the body of this post).
Had he brought us out of Egypt, but not split the sea before us,
Brought us out of Egypt, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]
Had he split the sea before us, but not fed us in the desert, Split the sea before us, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

Had he fed us with the manna, but not brought us to Mount Sinai, Fed us with the manna, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

Had he brought us to Mount Sinai, but not given us commandments, Brought us to Mount Sinai, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

Had he given us commandments, but not led us into Israel, Given us commandments, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

Had he led us into Israel, but not given us the prophets, Led us into Israel, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

Had he given us the prophets, but not built for us the Temple, Given us the prophets, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

Had he built for us the temple, but not promised the Messiah, Built for us the Temple, well then--Dayenu!
    [Chorus]

    Strong?

When I said that the Incrementalist "Progressives" had stopped moving incrementally, I really wasn't prepared that they'd pull out all the stops.

Obama, the "constitutional scholar," issued his most ominous statement yet.
US President Barack Obama on Monday challenged the "unelected" Supreme Court not to take the "extraordinary" and "unprecedented" step of overturning his landmark health reform law. --from yahoo news Combative Obama warns Supreme Court on health law.

Oh, but he was a bit less strident when he said the following, which contained the highlighted lie.
"Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.
Had Mr. Obama said "...that was passed by a strong-armed majority..." it would have been the truth.

Statist Puppet Says He's Your Keeper

And he's telling the truth for a change. Certainly when you recall that "keeper" is what you call those who keep animals caged. Our supermen look upon human beings as lesser creatures, and you know it. The people, for whom he is the head-bobbing puppet, detest your freedom.

Hear him yourself. Pick up his monologue (with his trained seals squealing in the background as usual) at 2:14.

H/T CNSnews.com I'm sorry folks. But the silence on the opposite aisle ("our" side allegedly) indicates that your "leaders" are not doing their job.

We CAN Beat the Left When We Have Honest Leadership

There was a time when the forces of the Right could win. But it was only temporary wins and it appears the Left knew it. It was because they had a purpose as shown them by leaders who were in on the planning. If there were any on the Right who were planning the opposite, it seems clear that with so many "Progressive" (Incrementalist) Republicans at or near the helm of power, our side was too infiltrated with with agents from the other side. For ages it seems they succeeded in preventing principled conservative thinking from being in power (Reagan being the exception that defeated them) or stay there for long ("Progressive" GHWB claimed to have seen the light to gain our trust, and then dashed them later).

Controlling Education has been a dream of the Incrementalists since the days of John Dewey. Kevin Baker generated some fine commentary over a couple of books dealing with Incrementalist education since the beginning of the last century. That prompted me to recall something in more depth that I've only mentioned in passing here and elsewhere.

What follows is the lesson I learned from an incident I witnessed close to 50 years ago. My readers deserve to hear my report (that you won't find anywhere else) on my own site. I surely hope you guys can help this "agnostic" follow through with his conclusion. I'm pretty sure Kevin would not agree with that conclusion. I didn't even think of that portion while I was posting at his blog. That thought came to me overnight.

Forgive me if I've reported this here before, but it's germane to what has become of education. It provides evidence that the Left was organized and planning their long march early on, and even told us what they planned to do. We either didn't understand or didn't believe them until it was too late. Or is it?

Late in the 2nd trimester of my freshman year at Michigan, the first teach-ins against the Nam war were organized.  I only caught a glimpse of what was going on. But shortly thereafter came the student votes to condemn UM participation in war industry through research grants. Naturally the Engineering School led the voting bloc that constantly voted down the resolutions.

Well, after the SDS lost another vote, some bitch grabbed a bull-horn at an unusual rally site behind the UGLi* and declared
"the only reason we lost is because you're all ignorant. Don't worry, we will educate you."
Most of us went off to work after college to do something productive. She and her ilk, no doubt, went to work as an educrat and thus infiltrated our education institutions. We let them sow their wind, and now nobody should be surprised that we are reaping the whirlwind -- the familiar mindless sloganeering of a herd of indoctrinated sheeple as we witnessed last fall in the Occupy movement.

The reason it now starts in the primary school classroom is that those 60's radicals first began to fully infest the teaching colleges then. According to CS Lewis in "Men Without Chests," the first seeds of that invasion began in British teaching colleges during the 20s and 30s.

Like I wrote up at the top, the "Progressives" were well planned from the start to incrementally bring about their complete control of the West (which is to say the world), while the rest of us were complacent at best. They thrived because they could use Alinksy rule #4 to force us to be tolerant of them by hiding behind the 1st Amendment. Good luck getting the same tolerance now that they are in charge. PC disguises Leftist bigotry and allows them to make rules -- which they enforce ruthlessly -- to silence us.

The question that is pressing us into service is, :
"Can the Right find and keep real leadership once again to thwart their plans and begin the reclamation of liberty?"
Probably. But only with reference to and appeals to God. I cannot think of any more in-your-face conflict with the Left (sinister) forces than bringing Him into it.

*A relatively small rally on the grass between the undergraduate library and West Engineering, probably to catch the attention of us engg students. IIRC, most rallies were staged out in the center of the Diag, on and North of the steps to the graduate library. Her words still ring in my ears. I fully suspect that was the whole reason they were there -- so that if they succeeded eventually, her words would be a form of gloating before the fact.

It's not over sister. If you're still alive, useful idiots are the first to wind up in the gulag because they are viewed as too dangerous by the inner circle.
